The aim of the research was to improve the student’s comprehension on Algebra Limit Function subject In Mathematics, so their learning achievement also improved significantly. The research participants were the students of grade XI IPS 2 SMAN 1 Kerinci. The researcher was helped by a collaborator who was a Math Teacher at the same school. The study was done in two cycles with four stages, (a) Planning (b) Action (c) Observation (d) Reflection. The result of data analysis showed that the student’s average score in cycle 1 was 69 (65%). It became higher in cyle 2 to 83 ( 85%). There was significant improvement seen from the result of cycle 1 compared to cycle 2. It could be concluded that the implementation of Systematic Problem Solving Strategy on Algebra Limit Function subject improved the student’s learning achievement significantly. Therefore, it was suggested to Math Teachers to apply the strategy in teaching  as the alternative solution particularly in Algebra Limit Function subject

The research was carried out with 138 pre-service teachers attending pedagogical formation training certificate program a public university in Turkey. In the study, a phenomenological method was used within the scope of qualitative research model. A semi-structured form with open-ended questions was used as a data collection tool to reveal pre-service teachers' perceptions of teacher professional ethics course. In this form, the pre-service teachers were asked to complete the sentence "the teacher professional ethics course is like ......; because ......". The results obtained from the pre-service teachers' responses were analyzed using content analysis technique. Based on these metaphors and the content analysis, the validity-reliability of the categories were shared with 3 faculty members who specialize in the field of metaphors and category lists. After expert opinions, non-overlapping metaphors were determined and the final shape was given. As a result of the research, it was found out that the pre-service teachers mostly expressed the compass and light metaphors from the metaphors they produced for the teacher professional ethics course. Based on their, “the course guiding students” category is the most commonly expressed metaphor among the categories formed in common characteristics. According to the pre-service teachers, teacher professional ethics course guides people in the right direction. The research objective is to foster student learning activities through the TIE (Translation, Interpretation, Extrapolation) method. The research method used was descriptive correlational method. The research sample consisted of 75 people. The data instrument was in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire which consisted of the aspects of translation, interpretation, and extrapolation. Data analysis technique used descriptive statistics, Product Moment correlation, chi square normality, and Anova. The result of the study showed that the average score for translation was 3,767 which was in the high category; the average score for interpretation was 4,075 categorized as very high; and the exploration average score was 4,065 categorized as very high. Overall, it was at an average of 3,969 which was in the high category. If the translation, interpretation, and extrapolation activities were carried out properly,it could build up to 99,3% of learning activities. In conlcusion, the TIE method is important to apply in independent learning activities because it can stimulate students' cognition and psychomotor to achieve better learning quality. In addition, it can present insightful and experienced students.
