Education for Children with Special Needs (PABK) is an optional course in the Elementary School Teacher Education Students (PGSD) study program where in this course, there is a hearing difficulty (deaf). One of the strategies that prospective educators (in this case students) can do is to prepare themselves when later adapting to children who have hearing impairments. The strategy that can be done in dealing with children with hearing difficulties (deaf) in elementary school is to use sign language. So that the need for students to be trained at least to be able to use simple sign language. So, students are directed to be able to compose songs into sign language. The type of this research is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to determine the creativity of students in composing songs into sign language as one of the strategies in dealing with children with special needs hearing impairments. The subjects in this study were students who were selected based on purposive sampling with the criteria desired by the researcher. This research was conducted by filling in the instruments that had been validated by expert judgment. The results showed that in general, students were able to compose songs into sign language. Based on these results, it can be concluded: that the test results assessed from the research instrument, students were able to compose songs into sign language quite well, this is shown in the results where 77% with a score of 59-69 with a total of 11 students were able to compose songs into sign language. Meanwhile, 23% with a score of 70-80 with a total of 4 students were able to compose songs into sign language well.

The research aims to identify and analyze the transformation of Citizenship literacy in Elementary School Teacher Education students, in the implementation of distance learning in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the Citizenship literacy of Elementary School Teacher Education students in distance learning, is transformed in the form of an understanding of the rights and obligations as Indonesian citizens. Nationality Literacy of Primary School Teacher Education students is quite good, if it is analyzed from the depth of coverage regarding the rights and obligations as citizens. The results also show that the obstacle in the transformation of citizenship literacy is about the shift in learning patterns from distance or online.

This research aims at improving the narrative essay writing skills of elementary school teacher education students through Concentrated Language Encounter (CLE) learning activities assisted by short film learning media by employing a quasi-experimental nonequivalent group design. The subjects were all primary teacher education students in West Java, with a sample of 31 elementary school teacher education students in Cimahi City as the experimental class, and 31 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teacher education students in Bandung City as the control class. The results of the post-test research showed that the average skill of writing narrative essays in the experimental class was 81.10, while the control class obtained an average of 66.32. While the test results of the average N-gain difference in writing narrative essay skills with 2-tailed sig were 0.000 with a significance level of less than 0.05. These findings revealed that there was an increase in the writing narrative essay skills of elementary school teacher education students through the application CLE Model assisted by short film learning media. This research is expected to facilitate lecturers/teachers to teach narrative essay writing skills by optimizing all language skills through the CLE model assisted by short film media.

This study has the purpose of (1) How is the pedagogic competence of students of elementary school teacher education; (2) How is the science competency of elementary school teacher education students; (3) Is there a relationship between pedagogic competence and science competence of elementary school teacher education students. The research method used in this study was a quantitative survey. Based on the results of the study, students' data obtained from elementary school teacher education for pedagogic competence and science competency fall into the unfavorable category with a pedagogic percentage of 67.9% and IPA of 63.52% and obtained data for the meaning of pedagogic efficiency (7.632), min 2.0), max (13.0) and standard deviation (2.2921) while for science competencies, the average (7.84), min (0), max (16) and standard deviation (2,773) and also between pedagogic competencies with natural science competencies produce 0,483 These figures reflect the variables of pedagogic competence with science competence because the value of r is below 0.5. Pedagogic competence with IPA competency obtained probability = 0,000 <0,005, so there is a significant existence. Instead of offering a pedagogic with IPA competencies mark '*'. Means together with pedagogic competencies with IPA competencies have a significant relationship.
