Film shovel is the key device for mechanized operation of residual film recovery, in which the depth of soil breakage of the shovel is related to the degree of damage to the plastic film and the recovery efficiency of the residual film. However, the current mode of operation requires experience and visual inspection, which often leads to low level of mechanization and inefficient operation. The topic is to improve the existing residual film recovery device, focusing on the three-dimensional modeling and monitoring system of intelligent film lifting shovel. By optimizing the three-dimensional structure of the intelligent film-lifting shovel and kinematics simulation analysis based on Adams software, the design inclination angle of the loosening shovel is 60∘, and the breaking depth of the safe operation is 20–50 mm. Then through the use of Ethernet interface based on EtherCAT bus and the real-time bidirectional communication between BECKHOFF CX2030 controller and module and HMI, the on-line data transmission in the process of intelligent film shovel operation is realized. Field test results verify that the intelligent film-lifting shovel is feasible in the intelligent operation and recovery efficiency of the residual film recovery operation, which can greatly improve the efficiency of the whole machine operation.

Three-dimensional (3D) microstructure visualization on the electron microscope requires that the sample be tilted to different positions to collect a series of projections. This tilting should be performed rapidly for on-line stereo viewing and precisely for off-line tomographic reconstruction. Usually a projection series is collected using mechanical stage tilt alone. The stereo pairs must be viewed off-line and the 60 to 120 tomographic projections must be aligned with fiduciary markers or digital correlation methods. The delay in viewing stereo pairs and the alignment problems in tomographic reconstruction could be eliminated or improved by tilting the beam if such tilt could be accomplished without image translation.A microscope capable of beam tilt with simultaneous image shift to eliminate tilt-induced translation has been investigated for 3D imaging of thick (1 μm) biologic specimens. By tilting the beam above and through the specimen and bringing it back below the specimen, a brightfield image with a projection angle corresponding to the beam tilt angle can be recorded (Fig. 1a).

Recently, in the loading tests for steel members, the deformation value is measured by calculating a distance of both cross-heads. This measuring method encounters a test error due to various environmental factors, such as initial slip, etc.. Especially, in the case of welded members, the non-uniform deformation behavior in welded joints is observed because of the effect of welding residual stress and weld metal. This is mainly responsible for a test error and a loss of the reliability for used test instruments. Therefore, to improve the accuracy and the applicability of measuring system, it is necessary to employ a visual monitoring system which can accurately measure the local and overall deformation of welded members. In this paper, to accurately measure a deformation of welded members, a visual monitoring system (VMS) was developed by using three-dimensional digital photogrammetry. The VMS was applied to the loading tests of a welded member. The accuracy and the applicability of VMS was verified by comparing to the deformation value measured by a test instrument (MTS-810). The characteristics of the behavior near a welded joint were investigated by using VMS.

In order to achieve the target of controlling SO2 emissions in fumes in a short period of time in China, a SO2 on-line monitoring system (CEMS) has been developed by the authorased on the principle of electrochemistry. This system consists of two subsystems: (1) SO2 mass concentration monitoring and (2) SO2 flow velocity and flow rate monitoring. In the paper, the procedure of system and working principle and method of SO2 mass concentration monitoring subsystem are described in detail (SO2 flow velocity and flow rate monitoring subsystem is described by another paper). Two subsystems work synchronously to monitor and calculate the SO2 emissions, then the on-line monitoring of SO2 emissions is achieved. Through experiment and testing, monitoring result of the system is stable and reliable, which has reached the national monitoring standards and passed the appraisal.

The vibration can influence the running of devices in the engine room. It is necessary to monitor the vibration state of all running machineries. Through integrating the Bluetooth technology into the common vibration sensor, a wireless on-line vibration monitoring system is designed to monitor all devices. It will be helpful to avoid severe failure and improve the cruising ability.

According to the single battery's series structure in the fuel cell stack, we develop an on-line fuel cell voltage monitoring system, and realize VISA library functions’ call and operation data acquisition and storage successfully in the Delphi development environment. It’s introduced mainly that the monitoring principle, hardware structure, software design and the main feature. The actual application proves that this system has realized high-precision and real-time monitoring of the output voltage of the fuel cell for multi-channel, and has multi-condition operation by setting original parameters easily, thereby, the system has more applicability and well reliability.
