The experience of using tank brigade and units in the of anti-terrorist operation (ATO) and the operation of the Joint Forces (OJF), which are the main strike force of the Land Forces, indicates that their successful combat performance depends to a large extent on their combat capability. The level of preparedness of the brigade has a direct impact on combat capability.During combat renewal, combat training activities are conducted during which the training facilities acquire certain capabilities to perform combat missions. Due to the limited time involved in conducting combat training, methodological training of trainers has a significant impact on their level of training. This requires the search and implementation of new approaches to the quality of combat training activities by leaders of training in the course of combat readiness, which requires the development of a scientific and methodological apparatus to assess their level of methodological training. The article proposes a partial methodology for assessing the level of methodological training of leaders of training during combat training in the course of combat readiness, as part of a comprehensive methodology for assessing the effectiveness of combat tank training in the course of combat capability, which allows to take into account the impact of training leaders on the quality of training. The use of the proposed method allows the training subjects to quantify the level of methodological training of the trainers and to identify problems in the organization of their classes. The above methodology uses indicators that characterize the level of knowledge and skills of the head teacher in the subject of study, their experience in their classes and the availability of training courses to improve pedagogical skills.

Abstract Background: Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) remains a challenge globally. High school youths without Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), are more likely to engage in high risk sexual behaviors than their peers in schools with CSE. Fiji continues to have very poor adolescents SRH indicators. This study aimed to gauge the perceptions of students towards the delivery of SRH education in schools in Fiji. Methods: A qualitative study design was used to collect data from students in Year 11-13 in public secondary schools in Suva, Fiji in 2018. Schools with equal ethnic mix were selected. A semi-structured open–ended questionnaire was used to guide Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). A male research facilitator conducted FGD with males while a female research facilitator facilitated that amongst the females. Data collected was analyzed thematically. Results: Seven FGDs were conducted. A total of 46 students (29 males) participated with the age range from 17-19 years old. Eight themes emerged: current SRH education; students’ knowledge on adverse consequences of SRH; sources of SRH information; need for sex education; provision of SRH education in schools; characteristics of teachers of SRH education; age-appropriate incremental sex education; and ideal version of SRH. Conclusions: The study shows that Fijian students desired a lot more from sex education than what is currently offered for sexual decision-making. There is a need for mandatory and comprehensive sex education for young people.

Intimate partner sexual violence (IPSV) among emerging adults, including heterosexuals and sexual minorities in the Chinese population, is poorly understood. Focusing on college students, the objectives of the present study were to estimate the prevalence of IPSV among Chinese emerging adults, examine the association between sexual orientation and IPSV, and evaluate the mental health and quality of life of survivors of IPSV. Data were collected from four university campuses in Hong Kong. A total of 1,015 participants were included in the data analysis. The prevalence of IPSV as identified by Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS)-2 was 12.1%. There was no gender difference in the prevalence of IPSV. Multiple logistic regression found that being older; having experienced childhood sexual abuse and having a smoking habit; and belonging to a sexual minority were factors associated with IPSV. Multiple linear regression found that IPSV survivors were more likely to have higher levels of anxiety and depression, more severe psychosomatic symptoms, and poorer quality of life in three domains: psychological, social relationships, and environment when compared with those without IPSV experience. The documented factors underscored the importance of awareness that men and sexual minorities might incur IPSV, which should receive more attention in IPSV prevention programs. Also, interventions for IPSV survivors should be targeted at improving their mental health and quality of life and sex education should place more emphasis on sexual consent and sexual health in dating relationships.

SummaryThis qualitative study was conducted in May–June 2010 with women using post-abortion care (PAC) services provided by the Marie Stopes Society in Pakistan during the six month period preceding the study, more than 70% of whom had been referred to the clinics by reproductive health volunteers (RHVs). The aim of the study was to establish the socio-demographic profile of clients, determine their preferred method of treatment, explore their perceptions of the barriers to accessing post-abortion services and to understand the challenges faced by RHVs. The sample women were selected from six randomly selected districts of Sindh and Punjab. Eight focus group discussions were conducted with PAC clients and fifteen in-depth interviews with RHVs. In addition, a quantitative exit interview questionnaire was administered to 76 clients. Medical, rather than surgical, treatment for incomplete and unsafe abortions was preferred because it was perceived to ‘cause less pain’, was ‘easy to employ’ and ‘having fewer complications’. Household economics influence women's decision-making on seeking post-abortion care. Other restraining factors include objection by husbands and in-laws, restrictions on female mobility, the views of religious clerics and a lack of transport. The involvement of all stakeholders could secure social approval and acceptance of the provision of safe post-abortion care services in Pakistan, and improve the quality of family planning services to the women who want to space their pregnancies.

Early Warning and Response System (EWARS) is a health information technology used to report diseases in particular with potential outbreaks and it can generate "alerts" when an outbreak is found. EWARS report is conducted on a weekly basis by reporting disease data on EWARS website according to the code of each disease that has been established. This research is a descriptive study based on quantitative assessment. Sampling is done by using simple random sampling method. Interviews were conducted to 33 officers at Puskesmas Kota Surabaya by using questionnaires. The variables are respondent characteristics including age, sex, education level, length of work, computer experience, and EWARS socialization experience. Then, it also examines the level of knowledge, attitudes, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness towards EWARS implementation, and data quality of EWARS itself. The result shows that the majority of respondents are at the age of 20-40 years, female sex, have a sufficient level of education, have worked as EWARS officers for more than 2 years, have been using computers for more than 2 years, been through EWARS socialization. In addition, most respondents have good level of knowledge, attitudes, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness towards EWARS implementation, but unfortunately, the data quality is still undervalued. The conclusion is that having good level of knowledge, attitude, perception of ease, and perception of usefulness does not always result EWARS report in high quality because other attributes still need to be measured.

Article 4 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) mentions the obligations of state parties to implement the CRC. Furthermore, article 19 of the CRC requires State Parties to protect children from any form of violation including sexual violation through legislative, administrative, social and education measures. This article describes the results of research related to the implementation of CRC for child victims of sexual violence (CVSV) through court decisions. The analysis was conducted on seven Districts and three High Court decisions in 2018 in Medan and Deli Serdang Districts, North Sumatera Province in Indonesia concerning sexual violence which involve children as victims. The researcher conducted focus group discussions which involved two groups of respondents; (1) Law Enforcement Officers and (2) OPD (Organisasi Pemerintahan Daerah/Local Governments) and CSOs (Civil Society Organizations) which concerns CVSV issues. The finding shows that none of the court decisions mentioned about rights of the victims, as they focused only to punish the perpetrator(s). It is ironic since the right is regulated under several regulations in Indonesia concerning child protection. Therefore, the researcher recommends that police officers and Public Prosecutors should be more active in providing information concerning restitution for the victims. This will assist the victim(s) and his/her families to obtain justice not only by punishing the perpetrator but also by obtaining his/her right of restitution.
