Graphic Design is currently one of the few software that has been widely used for the development of knowledge because it is very easy to use in various aspects of work. Jobs by utilizing graphic design have a very large opportunity to be used by students with the current pandemic conditions, because apart from being easy to use in basic work for students, many social media users such as Instagram and Facebook want good Instagram and Facebook feeds. For this reason, it is inevitable that many social media users need photo editing services such as graduation photo editing and travel photo editing so that it can be used as a business opportunity among students to take the job because the work can be done anywhere with easily accessible tools. In today's world of work, if human resources (HR) do not have additional abilities or skills, it will be difficult to compete in obtaining work. Through this introduction, students are also expected to get to know the tools that exist in Photoshop software. With the introduction of Photoshop, it is hoped that it can provide new insights and knowledge to the students of Budi Agung Medan Private High School about making graphic design as a business opportunity.

This community service activity was carried out to provide understanding as well as anticipation to teachers in Oebelo village, Kupang Tengah, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia regarding news that contains false and misleading contents (hoax). Teachers who have more time with their students, are expected to transfer their understanding so that they will not easily believe unverified news. These understanding and anticipation were also delivered to junior high school students (grade VIII to IX) that in reality had started to know information technology – social media. The development of information technology – social media that has positive and negative impacts must be seen as important and urgent matter to be handled properly. This development should be directed towards improving the quality of human resources (human capital development) in this millennium era. However, in reality, even false news or messages have a detrimental effect on a person or community. Therefore, as the final result of this activity, two guidelines will be made; how to anticipate hoax news and how to utilize abundant information sources through the development of information technology, especially internet media. This is done as part of the effort to improve the quality of human resources.

Abstract. This study investigated the effects of politicians’ nonparticipatory and participatory Facebook posts on young people’s political efficacy – a key determinant of political participation. We employed an experimental design, using a sample of N = 125 high school students (15–20 years). Participants either saw a Facebook profile with no posts (control condition), nonparticipatory posts, or participatory posts. While nonparticipatory posts did not affect participants’ political efficacy, participatory posts exerted distinct effects. For those high in trait evaluations of the politician presented in the stimulus material or low in political cynicism, we found significant positive effects on external and collective efficacy. By contrast, for those low in trait evaluations or high in cynicism, we found significant negative effects on external and collective efficacy. We did not find any effects on internal efficacy. The importance of content-specific factors and individual predispositions in assessing the influence of social media use on participation is discussed.

The digitalization of the economy sector in the industrial revolution 4.0 needs to be approached with a smart attitude so as to not bring loss to both the consumers and the business holders, by transforming the instrument of consumer rights in an updated and a better way. The development of technology has spoiled human beings in all aspects, including in muamalah. like transaction. The society’s rapid consumptive behavior becomes a business opportunity for the investors to invest their capital in the field of trade, which is also rapidly developing. The increasing demand of consumptive products pushes the popularity of online transaction. There exist hundreds of online shops, either official shops or those undergoing transaction through social media. Anyone can be owners of online shops, and the consumers can be adults, teenagers, and even children. This condition causes some problems, such as the misuse of online transaction for deception, offering products which are not the same as the real items, or worse, not sending the products after the consumer has transferred the money. The results show that in online transactions, there are many dishonest sellers who legalize all methods to practice deception, so there needs to be a connection between online transaction and religion with the hope to minimize the chance of harm for both the consumers and the sellers.
