Slow Learner students often have difficulty understanding mathematics content, one of which is direct and inverse proportion. This study aims to improve the student's understanding of the direct and inverse proportion material using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. The research subject in this study was a single subject, namely Slow Learner student who studied in seventh grade in one of the Junior High School in Bantul district, Yogyakarta Special Region. This study used the Single Subject Research method with an A-B design. Researchers collected the data in this study through audio documentation, photos, videos, and written documentation. The data were then analyzed using analysis in conditions and between conditions. The results showed that students had an average score of learning outcomes that was 32 before being given intervention and had an average score of 78 after being given an intervention to implement learning with the CTL approach. This result shows that using the CTL approach can improve the understanding of Slow Learner student in understanding the direct and inverse proportion and minimizing the learning difficulties of Slow Learning student during teaching and learning activities.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan komik dengan metode pembelajaran PQ4R pada materi lingkaran kelas VIII SMP yang memiliki validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektifitas yang baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4-D yaitu tahap pendefenisisan (define), tahap perancangan (design), dan tahap pengembangan  (develop). Instrumen penelitian adalah lembar validasi komik, lembar kepraktisan komik dan lembar efektifitas komik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) komik matematika dengan metode pembelajaran PQ4R termasuk dalam kategori valid dari aspek materi, bahasa, dan desain dengan skor rata-rata 4.01; (2) komik tersebut termasuk dalam kategori praktis dengan skor rata-rata 4.14; (3) komik tersebut termasuk dalam kategori efektif dengan skor rata-rata 4.06. Kemudian pencapaian aktivitas meliputi (1) aktifitas dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar aktif dengan skor rata-rata aktivitas siswa 4.19; (2) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran efektif dengan skor rata-rata respon siswa sebesar 4.27; (3) aktifitas dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar aktif dengan skor rata-rata aktivitas guru sebesar 4.42; dan (4) hasil belajar siswa efektif dengan skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 4,00 dan persentase rata-rata siswa yang mencapai nilai ketuntasan minimal 70 adalah 86%.Abstract:  This study aims to produce comics with the PQ4R learning method on the material of the class VIII of junior high school that has good validity, practicality and effectiveness. This study uses a 4-D model, namely the stage of define, design, and  develop. The research instruments were comic validation sheets, comic practicality sheets and comic effectiveness sheets. The results showed that (1) mathematical comics with the PQ4R learning method included in the valid category of material, language, and design aspects with an average score of 4.01; (2) the comic is included in the practical category with an average score of 4.14; (3) the comic is included in the effective category with an average score of 4.06. Then the achievement of activities includes (1) activities in active teaching and learning activities with an average score of student activity 4.19; (2) student responses to effective learning with students' average response scores of 4.27; (3) activities in active teaching and learning activities with an average score of teacher activity of 4.42; and (4) effective student learning outcomes with an average score of student learning outcomes of 4.00 and the average percentage of students who achieve a minimum completeness score of 70 is 86%.

The research was aimed to the effectiveness of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in teaching grammar. Experimental study of pretest-posttest was used in this research. Non-randomize sampling was used as sampling technique. The validity test was calculated using point biserial correlation, and reliability test was 0.848 which was calculated by using K-R 21 formula. In analyzing the data, researcher used ANCOVA. The result shows that average score of pretest was 60,95 for experimental group and 60,00 for control group. The average score of posttest was 85,95 for experimental group and 78,9 for control group. The calculation of ANCOVA found that the value of F is 8.7 and F critical with df 76 at 0.01 level of significance 6.96. it means that F value was higher the F critical. From the result of data analysis showed that Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) gave effect on teaching grammar for 7th grade students of junior high school.

The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model for class VIII students in FIQIH subjects at MTs. Exemplary Gebang. To find out how to improve student learning outcomes for class VIII FIQIH subjects at MTs. Exemplary Gebang. To find out whether the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class VIII students in FIQIH subjects at MTs Teladan Gebang. Learning outcomes are something that cannot be separated from learning. Based on the observation activities that have been carried out, the background of this research is that students are less active in the learning process, students are less confident in expressing opinions, students are more focused on their own activities when listening to the explanation given by the teacher, so this has an impact on student learning outcomes in Fiqh lessons is still low, in class VIII students, totaling 32 students at MTs Teladan Gebang, it is known that the learning process is less than optimal. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model to improve student learning outcomes. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes for class VIII FIQIH subjects at MTs Teladan Gebang. The goal to be achieved in this study is to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model on student learning outcomes. Class VIII Fiqh subjects at MTs Teladan Gebang. The type of research used is classroom action research with the design used is pretest and posttest. This research was conducted in class VIII MTs Teladan Gebang. Data collection techniques used observations, tests and interviews, then analyzed using hypothesis testing. The results showed that the average score obtained by class VIII at MTs Teladan Gebang in the Pre Test was 58 with 7 students' completeness (21.87). %). In Cycle I, the average student score was 71.34 with a completeness of 20 students (62.5%). In Cycle II the average score of students is 85 with student completeness as many as 32 people (87.5%). This proves that there is a significant effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model on student learning outcomes for Fiqh Class VIII MTs Teladan Gebang..

This study aims to determine the influence of learning models (Contextual Teaching and Learning and Quantum Learning) and the ability to think creatively about the learning outcomes of science education in junior high school students in SMPN 226 Jakarta. This research uses treatment design by level with sample number of 48 students at State Junior Secondary School (SMPN) 226 Jakarta. The data analysis was done by Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) two lane. The results showed that (1) Contextual Teaching and Learning model (CTL) was more effective in improving learning outcomes of IPA SMP Inclusion than Quantum Learning model (QL); (2) there was interaction effect between learning model and student's creative thinking ability toward science learning outcomes 3) for junior high school students in inclusion schools with high creative thinking skills more appropriately using Contextual Teaching and Learning models (CTL), (4) and for students with low creative thinking skills more appropriately using Quantum Learning models (QL).

This study aims to find out: (1) Describe the learning activities of students in social studies subjects using the CTL (Contextual Teaching And Learning) model with picture media. (2) Improving social studies learning outcomes using the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model with picture media. The type of research used by researchers is Classroom Action Research (CAR). With the subjects in this study were all fifth grade students of SDN 6 in the Lower Strait of Kuala Kapuas, totaling 17 students, 10 men and 7 women. Data collection techniques in this study used a written test at the end of the learning process and observation to find out the activity during the learning process. The data analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study showed that: (1) Learning activities of students in social studies learning using the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model in class V of SDN 6 in the Lower Kapat Kuala Kapuas became good. In the first cycle, the activities of the students obtained a score of 36 with an average rating of 2.57 with quite good criteria. In Cycle II the activities of students received an average score of 53.5 with an average score of 3.82 with suitable measures. (2) There is an increase in learning outcomes of students in social studies learning using the CTL model (Contextual Teaching and Learning) in the fifth grade of SDN 6 in the Lower Straits of Kuala Kapuas. In the pre-test, it can be seen that the percentage of the results is 23.53% (4 people), the students who complete and the students who do not complete 70.48% (12 people) with an average value of 50. The results obtained in the first cycle are the percentage results learners reach 70.59% (12 people) students complete and 23.53% (5 people) students who do not complete with an average value of 72. In cycle II, the acquisition of student learning outcomes is 100% (17 people) who complete with an average score of 91. There is an increase in social studies learning outcomes from pre-test to cycle I which is as much as 47.06% while from cycle I to cycle II there is an increase in learning outcomes which is as much as 29.41%. It can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes by using the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model in the fifth grade of SDN 6 in the Lower Strait of Kuala Kapuas.

This type of research is experimental research that include one class as a class experiment with the aim to determine the effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning Approaches toward Learning Outcomes Civics in Seventh Grade Students of SMPN 21 Makassar. The study design used is the One-group pretest-posttest design, sample in this study is a class VII SMP Negeri 21 Makassar number of students as many as 29 students consisting of 10 male students and 19 female students. Data collection techniques used were conducted preliminary tests (pretest), applying the learning model Contextual Teaching and Learning, then the next action is to do a final test (posttest) to determine the effect of learning model Contextual Teaching and Learning on student learning outcomes. The results showed that the average score achievement test Civics on the pretest was 66.55 and the students who completed as many as 19 students or 65.51%, while the average score of posttest learning outcomes increased to 79.48 and students who pass as many as 29 people or 100%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning positive effect on learning outcomes Civics in Class VII SMP Negeri 21 Makassar

Tujan penelitian ini menggambarkan perencannaan, penerapan, dan hasil belajar di SDN Labor Pembangunan UNP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menujukan hasil belajar meningkat dari KKM 75. Pada  perencanaan pembelajaran mendapatkan rata-rata 68,86% naik menjadi 88,50%, aktivitas guru 70.33% menjadi 88.18%, aktifitas siswa dari 72.52% menjadi 85.62%, dan hasil belajar dari 67.26 menjadi 82.44. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDS Taman Muda Kalianget, dengan nilai rata-rata kelas hanya 60, 08, sedangkan nilai KKM IPS adalah 70. Diantara siswa yang berjumlah 20 orang hanya 9 orang yang mencapai KKM dengan ketuntasan klasikal 45%. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDS Taman Muda Kalianget Sumenep. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV di SDS Taman Muda Kalianget Sumenep tahun ajaran 2015-2016 yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa.  Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 29 April 2016 sampai dengan 27 Mei 2016. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah lembar aktivitas siswa serta hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menyajikan hasil observasi aktivitas dan hasil belajar yang diperoleh dari nilai observasi dan tes evaluasi setiap siklus. Siklus I aktivtas siswa rata-rata mencapai 60, 41%. Hasil belajar mencapai 60,8 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 12 orang. Pada siklus II aktivtas siswa rata-rata mencapai 81,25%. Sedangkan hasil belajar mencapai 71 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 14 orang. Pada siklus III peningkatan nilai rata-rata aktivitas siswa 97, 91%. Sedangkan hasil belajar mencapai 74 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 18 orang dari 20 jumlah siswa. Dengan demikian Implementasi pendekatan CTL dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDS Taman Muda Kalianget.Kata Kunci: Contextual Teaching and Learning .Pembelajaran IPS, Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar IPSAbstract This study was based by the low activity and learning outcomes IPS of the fourth grade students at SDS Taman Muda Kalianget, with the average score was only 60,08, while the minimum criteria for completeness of Social Studies is 70. Among students who totaled 20 people, only 9 people had reached KKM with classical completeness was 45%. the objective of this research was to improve the fourth grade students’ activity and learning outcomes Social Studies at SDS Taman Muda Kalianget Sumenep. The subject of the study was the fourth students at SDS Taman Muda Kalianget Sumenep of academic year 2015-2016 with the total number of 20 students. This study was conducted on April 29, 2016 to May 27, 2016. Collecting data instrument was students’ activity sheet and learning outcomes. This study presents the result of observation activity and learning outcomes obtained from the observation score and evaluation in every cycle. In cycle I, average of student’s activity reached 60,40%. While the learning outcomes reached 60,8 with the total number of 12 students who succeeded. In cycle II, the average of students’ activity was 81,25%. While the learning outcomes reached  71 with the total number of 14 students who succeeded. In cycle III, the improvement of average students’ activity was 97,91%. The learning outcomes reached  74 with the total number of 18 students who succeeded from 20 the number of students. The purpose of this research was to improve student learning outcomes using the contextual teaching and learning model (CTL), in natural science lessons on the sub-theme of plants as a source of life, design research of Classroom Action Research (CAR), two cycles and four stages each; plans, actions, observations and reflections. The research subject were class VI elementary school number 51/IX Setiris Muaro Jambi, consisting of 22 students. Data collection techniques used observation and formative tests, Data analysis used simple tabulation calculations, the success criteria are ≥73 individually and 100% classical, the results showed that, learning success score 18% increased to 64% in the first cycle and increased again to 100% in the second cycle, with the highest score of 84, the lowest score of 73 and an average score of 79.71, teacher observation by 70% increased to 88%, student observation by 65% increased to 85%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the CTL learning model can improve student learning outcomes in natural science on the sub-theme of plants as a source of life in class VI students of elementary school number 51 / IX Setiris Muaro Jambi district.
