Pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda dunia khususnya Indonesia mendorong proses belajar mengajar dilakukan secara online dengan menggunakan berbagai media platform. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keaktifan siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran  flipped classroom melalui aplikasi zoom di SMP Negeri 2 Bontang dengan materi suhu dan kalor. Jenis penelitian ini adalan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttes design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Bontang berjumlah 8 kelas dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 34 siswa di kelas VII A. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan tes berupa 10 butir soal essay untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa (posttest). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan siswa pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua termasuk kedalam kriteria keaktifan sedang dengan persentase 57,77% dan 62%. Kemudian pada pertemuan ketiga termasuk kedalam kriteria keaktifan siswa tinggi dengan persentase 75%. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar belajar siswa didapatkan nilai n-gain sebesar 0,56 dimana jika dibandingkan dengan tabel kriteria keefektifan, maka nilai n-gain pada penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Untuk kemampuan kognitif pada tingkat mengingat (C1) dan memahami (C2) sudah menunjukan sangat tinggi dengan persentase yang didapatkan yaitu (95%) dan (98%). Sedangkan untuk tingkat menerapkan (C3), menganalisis (C4), dan mengevaluasi (C5)masih terbilang cukup karena persentase yang didapatkan yaitu (55%), (52%), dan (52%).

Bu araştırmada sığınmacılara yönelik paylaşımların yapıldığı sosyal medyada yer alan sözlüklerden birinde sığınmacılara yönelik algıya bakılmıştır. Yöntem olarak nitel desende olan bu çalışmada, bir sosyal medya sitesinde yer alan paylaşımlar içerik analizi yoluyla derinlemesine incelenip yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda sosyal medya kullanıcılarının sığınmacıları büyük bir güvensizlik ortamı ve huzursuzluk yaratan bireyler olarak gördükleri saptanmış, sığınmacılarla yaşanan deneyimlerin ve medyadaki haberlerin bu düşüncelerin oluşmasında etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bunun yanında sosyal medya kullanıcılarının devletin sığınmacılar konusunda yanlış politika izlediğini düşündükleri ve sığınmacılar için etkili bir planlama yapılmadığını ifade ettikleri görülmüştür. Çalışmanın sonuçları doğrultusunda medyada sığınmacılar hakkında çıkan haberlerde olumsuz ve şiddet temalı haberlerin azaltılması, Suriyeli sığınmacıların durumu, sahip oldukları haklar ve topluma yansımaları hakkında doğru ve bilgilendirici kamu spotları hazırlanması ayrıca sığınmacıların topluma entegre olma sürecinin her basamağında daha planlı ve etkili bir yol izlenmesi önerilebilir.ABSTRACT IN ENGLISHPerceptions about Syrian refugees on social media: an evaluation of a social media platformIn this research, posts which are about Syrian refugees were published in a social media platform, called as “sözlük” were investigated. The research is a qualitative research. The posts in this platform are analyzed with content analysis method. According to results of analyses, social media users see Syrian refugees as people who create an insecure and a restless environment. The experiences people had with them and news have an effect on this view. In addition, social media users think that government made inappropriate policies and ineffective plans about Syrian refugees. It is suggested negative news about Syrian refugees should be decreased and government should make safer policies. In addition, adaptation of refugees to society should be made in more planned and effective way.

Times have changed and teachers have evolved. New technologies have opened up the classroom to the outside world. Teachers who were seen with textbooks and blackboard are now using varied technological tools to empower learners to publish works and engage learners with live audience in real contexts. In this digital era an ever-expanding array of powerful software has been made available. The flipped classroom is a shift from passive to active learning to focus on higher order thinking skills such as analysis, synthesis and evaluation. This model of teaching combines pedagogy and learning technologies. Significant learning happens through facilitating active learning through engaged learners. In this approach learning materials are provided through text, video, audio and multimedia. Students take responsibility of their learning. They work together applying course concepts with guidance from the instructor. This increased interaction helps to create a learning community that encourages them to build knowledge inside and outside the classroom.
