The purpose of this research work is to optimize the occupational health and safety protocol by increasing distancing and mitigating physical contact to prevent the spread of Covid-19, using QR catches to identify personnel. Contrasting the sanitary measures to protect the health and integrity of the personnel of the operations area of the Tailing Disposal System -Quellaveco project. For the study of the database, factor analysis is used as a multivalent statistical method, with this method the number of 997 daily reports was analyzed, addressing the study of the structure of correlations between a large number of variables, factor analysis assists in the selection of a representative subgroup of variables and creates new variables called factors, when performing the analysis and treatment of 24 variables with the SPSS 25 software, the variables with the correlation matrix were reduced to 13, and with the total variance explained, a matrix different from that of identity was defined, reducing the dimensionality of the problem from 13 to 5 factors.

The value, care, and customs of workers are essential in terms of occupational health and safety. The abuse of alcohol is widely regarded as a serious threat to the lives, health, and safety of employees. The aim of the research was to identify the main problems that are associated with alcohol abuse and consumption at work among employees in the construction industry, with particular emphasis on workstations where work is carried out on construction scaffoldings. Data for the analysis were obtained from two different sources. The first one was post-accident documentation on occupational accidents. The second one was surveys collected during the research project. This study confirmed that excessive and disproportionate alcohol consumption can be the cause of an accident, and consequently death at workplaces with scaffolding. Of 219 accident reports, 17.4% indicated alcohol as a contributing factor. Analysis of accident documentations shows that in cases where alcohol was indicated as a contributing factor in an accident, the alcohol was consumed during the workday. The results obtained on the basis of the conducted research were able to constitute a justification for the directions of preventive actions carried out in order to reduce the number of occupational accidents in the construction industry caused by alcohol.

Abstract The vital purpose of this research work is to examine the impacts of occupational health and safety management on employee's performance. It aims to investigate the nexus between the practice of OHS, safe working environment and performance of employees. The research work adopt a descriptive approach to scrutinize the contributions of provision of adequate health and safety equipment to performance of employees at Ardova Plc. Aside collecting primary data from the staffs of Ardova Plc in Lagos State cutting across diverse socio-economic class, simple random sampling was utilised in the study using 90 questionnaires to collect the primary data. However, descriptive data was therefore analyzed using Statistical Tool to show the Cross-tabulation, correlation and Chi-Square Test. The research study concludes that practice of occupational health and safety management can boost employee performance, and further suggest some policy recommendations.

The results of this paper are determined by the guidelines and regulations applicable to teleworking in Colombia in terms of occupational health and safety, to the design of the Occupational Health and Safety Model for autonomous teleworking, and to the structuring and validation of the Maturity of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ema), Quality of Life (CoL), and Working Conditions (wc) instruments. For the development of the Model, the following categories were analyzed: advantages and disadvantages of teleworking, teleworking modalities, worker conditions, environmental conditions, conditions of the tasks, change management, leadership, and quality of life. Statistical validations were performed on each proposed instrument, such as internal consistency, factor analysis, and component analysis. In the proposed Model, the employer or contractor must address the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases and the protection and promotion of the health of workers and/or contractors through the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a management system with principles based on the pdca cycle (Plan, Do, Check, and Act).

Selection of personnel assessment by highlighting the main properties of the personnel that influence the reliability of their work. Development of indicators that describe each of them using a special technique, based on the selected properties. The possibility of using predicate logic for forming and using the properties and qualities of the personnel in the future when senior executives make a decision to maintain an appropriate level of the personnel reliability at the machine-building enterprises.

The implementation of  human resources maintenance function is a function of management used to support and maintain reliable human resources. The maintenance of workers’ physical condition can be achieved by applying Occupational Health and Safety Program, and Labor Service and Insurance Social Program. The purpose of the study is to analyze dominant factors which affect the occupational health and safety of workers at PT. Indo Acidatama Tbk. based on the International Labor Organization’s practical code of safety in the use of chemicals at work. The type of study used is descriptive study with quantitative method. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling with incidental sampling type. The data collection was done by distributing 50 questionnaires consisting 30 question items to employees of PT. Indo Acidatama Tbk. Based on the results of data processing through factor analysis, a factor of occupational health and safety factor is formed involving the following subfactors: general responsibilities of employers, rights of the workers and personal protections of the workers.
