The recent changes in work environment owing to the COVID 19 pandemic has made us rethink the utility of office space at a time when an exponential growth in the use of online platforms has been observed. With the flexibility of working space and timing, employees and the organizational heads have redefined work culture and the old adage of strict 9 to 5 job seems to have been completed changed. The current paper attempts to understand the four behavioral patterns of DISC exhibited by leaders in any work environment. It explains what are the four behavioral traits and how they influence communication. And in a hybrid work environment, with lot of flexibility in time and space, what steps are to be taken in order to make communication effective and avert miscommunication as half of the employees work offline while the other half works online.

The current paper examines the syntactic properties of HA stripping: a type of ellipsis. Within the Minimalist framework, the paper adopts the PF-Deletion approach to show that stripping in HA is derived firstly by the movement of the remnant constituent from TP to Focus Position (FP), and, secondly, by the deletion of the TP. These two operations are licensed by the Ellipsis feature (E) located in the focus head F°. Thus, on the one hand, the paper contributes to the existing body of literature supporting the hotly-debated issues on the movement of the stripping remnants, and on the other, enriches the very minimal HA studies on ellipsis. The findings show that HA stripped constituents must move to Spec, FP, before the TP- deletion process. Two pieces of evidence in support of the focus movement to FP spring from Island sensitivity and p-stranding facts in HA.

<p><em>Perawatan pada lansia di panti tresna werdha X dilakukan berdasarkan rutinitas kerja dan petugas belum mendapat pelatihan mengenai kebutuhan dasar lansia yang harus dipenuhi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti ingin mengetahui hubungan budaya kerja petugas panti menurut persepsi lansia dengan kejadian pengabaian di PSTW X Sumatera Barat. Desain penelitian deskriptif korelasi, menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dengan total sampling, berjumlah 75. Uji statistik digunakan chi square dan regresi logistik. Hasil yang diperoleh seluruh lansia mengalami pengabaian; ada hubungan antara sikap terhadap apa yang dikerjakan, lingkungan pekerjaan; waktu dengan pengabaian lansia; Tidak ada hubungan antara perilaku ketika mengambil keputusan dengan pengabaian lansia. Sikap terhadap apa yang dikerjakan memiliki pengaruh paling besar terhadap kejadian pengabaian lansia. Disimpulkan bahwa petugas harus lebih memahami tentang peran dan fungsinya sebagai pemberi pelayanan pada lansia. Direkomendasikan agar pejabat yang berwenang dapat menempatkan petugas panti sesuai dengan peran dan fungsi serta kewenangannya, dan merekrut perawat sesuai dengan kebutuhan panti.</em></p><p> </p><p><em>The nursing of elderly in </em><em>Tresna Werda X nursing home is mainly based on the workrout in and that the caregiver have not yet received training on the basic needs of the elderly that they should meet. Therefore, the researcher wanted to know the relations of the work culture of caregiver according to the elderly’s perception with the incidence of neglect in PSTW X West Sumatera. This study used Descriptive correlation design with cross sectional approach. The method of sampling used total sampling, which amounts to 75. The statistical test used chi square and logistic regression. The results of the study show that all of the elderly experienced neglect; there is a relation between attitude towards what is conducted, work environment, time with elderly neglect; no relation between behavior in making decisions with elderly neglect. The attitude towards what is conducted has the most impacton the incidence of elderly neglect. It is concluded that the caregiver should have a better understanding on their roles and functions as the caregivers to the elderly. Moreover, it is recommended that the authorities should put nursing personnel in accordance with the roles, functions and competence, and recruit nurses in accordance with the needs of the nursing home.</em></p>

The Belief-Desire-Intention (BDI) model is a popular approach to design flexible agents. The key ingredient of BDI model, that contributed to concretize behavioral flexibility, is the inclusion of the practical reasoning. On the other hand, researchers signaled some missing flexibility’s ingredient, in BDI model, essentially the lack of learning. Therefore, an extensive research was conducted in order to extend BDI agents with learning. Although this latter body of research is important, the key contribution of BDI model, i.e., practical reasoning, did not receive a sufficient attention. For instance, for performance reasons, some of the concepts included in the BDI model are neglected by BDI architectures. Neglecting these concepts was criticized by some researchers, as the ability of the agent to reason will be limited, which eventually leads to a more or less flexible reasoning, depending on the concepts explicitly included. The current paper aims to stimulate the researchers to re-explore the concretization of practical reasoning in BDI architectures. Concretely, this paper aims to stimulate a critical review of BDI architectures regarding the flexibility, inherent from the practical reasoning, in the context of single agents, situated in an environment which is not associated with uncertainty. Based on this review, we sketch a new orientation and some suggested improvements for the design of BDI agents. Finally, a simple experiment on a specific case study is carried out to evaluate some suggested improvements, namely the contribution of the agent’s “well-informedness” in the enhancement of the behavioral flexibility.

AbstractThis research focuses on sex differences in the behavioral patterns of dogs when they are exposed to human chemosignals (sweat) produced in happy and fear contexts. No age, breed or apparatus-directed behavior differences were found. However, when exposed to fear chemosignals, dogs’ behavior towards their owners, and their stress signals lasted longer when compared to being exposed to happiness as well as control chemosignals. In the happy odor condition, females, in contrast to males, displayed a significantly higher interest to the stranger compared to their owner. In the fear condition, dogs spent more time with their owner compared to the stranger. Behaviors directed towards the door, indicative of exit interest, had a longer duration in the fear condition than the other two conditions. Female dogs revealed a significantly longer door-directed behavior in the fear condition compared to the control condition. Overall the data shows that the effect of exposure to human emotional chemosignals is not sex dependent for behaviors related to the apparatus, the owner or the stress behaviors; however, in the happiness condition, females showed a stronger tendency to interact with the stranger.

Abstract The current paper aims to investigate the distinctions in meaning between two prototypical markers of contrast in Modern Greek, i.e. alla and ma, from a relevance-theoretic viewpoint. At first sight, the two markers seem freely interchangeable across contexts, creating the impression that they basically share the same meaning. However, a more careful exploration of the contextual occurrences of these markers unravels their finely grained distinctions in meaning. This type of exploration requires a detailed categorization of the types of context that license or preclude the application of the markers at hand. In this sense, specific contexts highlight aspects of interpretation that motivate the use of one of the markers but not the other. Specifically, as it turns out, while the use of alla is chiefly associated with contexts of procedural elimination, in standard relevance-theoretic terms, the use of ma is justified in relation to expressing the speaker’s attitude of surprise to a contextual assumption constructed by the hearer, in addition to effecting procedural elimination. In this sense, ma proves to encode a dual constraint on the implicitly communicated content of an utterance, explained univocally in procedural terms.

We study FAD-languages, which are regular languages defined by finite sets of forbidden factors, together with their “canonical” recognizing automata. We are mainly interested in the possible asymptotic orders of growth for such languages. We analyze certain simplifications of sets of forbidden factors and show that they “almost” preserve the canonical automata. Using this result and structural properties of canonical automata, we describe an algorithm that effectively lists all canonical automata having a sink strong component isomorphic to a given digraph, or reports that no such automata exist. This algorithm can be used, in particular, to prove the existence of a FAD-language over a given alphabet with a given exponential growth rate. On the other hand, we give an example showing that the algorithm cannot prove non-existence of a FAD-language having a given growth rate. Finally, we provide some examples of canonical automata with a nontrivial condensation graph and of FAD-languages with a “complex” order of growth.

Work culture is a set of behavioral patterns that areinherent in every individual in an organization. Buildingculture means also improving and maintaining thepositive side, and trying to familiarize certain behavioralpatterns to create new, better forms. This research wasconducted to see how the work culture (integrity,professionalism, innovation, responsibility andexemplary teacher of Islamic Islamic Madrasah in WayKanan District. Based on the results of the study, it wasobtained a picture that the five cultural values wereimplemented well even though the results were notmaximized. This cultural value has a positive impact,both on the internal (including educators and educationpersonnel) and external impacts including thecommunity, as evidenced by the increasing performanceof educators and community services.The barriers tothe application of cultural values are caused by: a) lackof communication ) limited human resources in thefield of technology c) low understanding of the stateapparatus against the applicable rules.Keywords: Budaya Kerja, Guru, dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah

The return time of medical record documents is one of the performance indicators medical record document submission officer, according to the Medical Record Manual Book, standard of the time to return of medical record document in inpatient is 2 x 24 hours after the patients out of the hospital. Result of preliminary studies found there were medical record documents late, average of medical record documents late were 45,28 % at Inpatient Instalation I. This research designed to analyze the relation of work environment with performance of medical record document submission officer. The type of this research was analytical with cross sectional approach. The result of this research was work culture of officer was very good (64%). Leadership effect to officer was effective enough (56%). Relationship between employee and boss was very good (68%), and Compensation of officer was very good (88%). The result of analysis showed that there was a correlation between work culture with officer performance (p=0,019), there was correlation between leadership with officer performance (p=0,018), there was no correlation between aspect of relationship of employee and boss with officer performance (p=0,688), and there was no correlation between compensation with officer performance (p=0,263). The conclusion of this research is the work culture and leadership is work environment that correlation with officer performance in Instalation of inpatient I RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang Keywords: Work environment, performance, medical record document

In the current paper, fructose–oxidase enzyme is used as stabilization medium due to its more efficiency, ability for more accurate controlling the enzyme reaction, protecting against wasting of enzyme as well as simple and easy use and exchange of enzyme medium after performing some levels of surface modification and developing multi–walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) on Californium plate. For better connecting and stabilizing the enzyme on the medium, the prepared medium is washed by high concentration sulfuric acid and nitric acid and a large volume of deionized water and for protecting enzyme from devastating effect of Californium and prohibiting them to become inactive, surface is covered with cystamine before stabilization. Regarding the large size of fructose–oxidase enzyme compared to surface of medium, a connective material with amid at one end and pyrine at the other end is used as transfer agent and for stabilizing this connection, the prepared medium is placed into dimethylformamide (DMF) solution for a couple of hours. Activity of stabilized enzyme at 460 (nm) wavelength recorded by spectroscope was depicted against time to evaluate its stability in various times. The prepared medium, which have a large amount of fructose–oxidase enzyme, can be used as electrode in sensors. Furthermore, fructose–oxidase electrochemical sensor is one of the best methods for detecting low amount of fructose and applying Californium colloidal nanoparticles as a supplementary material in the structure of biosensor can be effective for progressing its efficiency and optimum efficiency. On the other hand, in the current study, electrode biosensor entitled as modified carbon paste electrode with Californium colloidal nanoparticles (Cfnano/CPE) is produced by carbon graphite powder, paraffin oil and Californium colloidal nanoparticles (24 nm) and it is compared with carbon paste electrode (CP). In semi–permeable membranes, a combination of 1 (ml) of 0.1 (M) phosphate buffer with specified pH and 10 (mg) of fructose–oxidase enzyme is placed around each electrode. In the same potential of 0.7 (V), biosensors are tested with fructose in concentration range of (0−1) (mM) and various amounts of pH (4,6,8) which lead to producing the maximum current and tracing fructose in pH=6 and concentration of 1 (M) as the optimum condition. Currentmetry induced from both biosensors are compared and it is confirmed that using Californium colloidal nanoparticles in the structure of (Cfnano/CPE) electrode leads to increasing the conductivity and currentmerty of biosensor. In addition, qualitative and quantitative measurement of food components is of great importance due to high cost of traditional methods, in addition to tendency for more accurate and sensitive detecting of these components. Fructose and triglycerides are such compounds that they frequently measure. Various methods are used to detect these food elements. However, the necessity for accurate measurement of these two compounds with high sensitivity, especially for food health issue, leads to developing biological methods, especially biosensors. Among them, biosensors based on conductive polymer nanostructures, especially Polypyrrole and Polythiophene, have been recently interested due to their unique characteristics. The current paper aims to introduce and investigate the previously performed studies about Polypyrrole and Polythiophene–based biosensors for detecting fructose and triglycerides.

An important theorem in classical complexity theory is that REG = LOGLOGSPACE, i.e., that languages decidable with double-logarithmic space bound are regular. We consider a transfinite analogue of this theorem. To this end, we introduce deterministic ordinal automata (DOAs) and show that they satisfy many of the basic statements of the theory of deterministic finite automata and regular languages. We then consider languages decidable by an ordinal Turing machine (OTM), introduced by P. Koepke in 2005 and show that if the working space of an OTM is of strictly smaller cardinality than the input length for all sufficiently long inputs, the language so decided is also decidable by a DOA, which is a transfinite analogue of LOGLOGSPACE ⊆ REG; the other direction, however, is easily seen to fail.
