PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to empirically analyze the factors affecting Muslim consumers’ willingness to pay (WTP) for Halal food, products and operations by employing theory of reasoned action.Design/methodology/approachThis study has used quantitative research methodology and collected data from 350 questionnaires from a densely populated city of Pakistan. Partial least squares-structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data.FindingsThe results show that the concerns about Halal, religiosity, perception of usefulness of Halal and product ingredients have a significant impact on WTP for Halal foods, while attitude has an insignificant impact on WTP. Moreover, the extent of demand for Halal certification is significantly affected by WTP.Originality/valueThe study highlighted the concerns of the Muslim consumers with respect to Halalness of the products and operations despite living in a Muslim country. It is recommended that the policy makers, food authorities and health institutions should conduct regular inspections of foods, products and producers’/manufacturers’ operations to ensure that all the procedures from manufacturing of the raw material till the finished goods follow Islamic principles to make them completely Halal.

Abstract : Analyzing the effect of financial knowledge, friends of the same age, and parental income on financial behavior with self-control as a moderating variable is the purpose of this research. Quantitative research is a type of research used in this study. The research sample was determined by purposive sampling technique totaling 100 students. Data analysis techniques used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Data collection techniques used were test and questionnaires. The result of this research is that financial knowledge can’t significantly influence financial behavior of students. Peer pressure, parental income, and self control have a significant on student financial behavior. Self control cann’t moderate financial knowledge on financial behavior, but it can moderate peer moderation on financial behavior. Self control does not moderate parental income on student financial behavior.

The purpose of this study was to examine the purchase intention of innovative new product (e.g., Galaxy Fold) by integrating behavioral reasoning theory (BRT) to the theory of reasoned action (TRA) and theory of planned behavior (TPB) to test the relative influence of reasons for and reasons against adoption on purchase attitude and purchase intention of Korean consumers. A quantitative research method via an online survey was conducted to test the proposed hypotheses. The sample of the study was 242 Korean consumers who participated in the online survey. Structural equation modeling was conducted by using AMOS 21.0 to test the proposed relationships. The findings showed that value for changes positively related to the reasons for adoption and negatively related to reasons against adoption. Reasons for adoption (e.g., relative advantage, compatibility, simplicity) have a significant positive effect on the purchase attitude, and reasons against adoption (e.g., price barrier, performance barrier, usage barrier) have a significant negative effect on the purchase attitude. Finally, purchase attitude has a significant positive relationship to the purchase intention of innovative new product. The findings of this study offer significant theoretical and managerial contributions in the context of sustainable innovative new product development.

Educational institutes in Pakistan have become progressively successful. In the last few decadesPakistan is facing tremendous challenges particularly in education and due to insufficient and ineffectivepublic education system. However, there is need to plan and strategize upcoming challenges bases oneducation machinery workforce placement, capability and capacity. This study is aiming to examine therelationship between, job security, governance, and teacher’s job satisfaction. In addition this study is alsoinvestigating the moderating effect of leadership style between job security and governance. This study hasused SMART-PLS structural equation modeling to analyze the data using quantitative research method. Thisstudy has used quantitative research method using stratified sampling technique. This study had used 266completed and usable questionnaires collected from teacher of the institutions in Sothern Punjab- Pakistan. The findings have indicated a significant relationship between job security, governance and job satisfaction ateducational institution level. In addition it was also reveals that leadership style has no significant influencebetween job security, governance and teacher’s job satisfaction. The influence of these factors calls for thefurther research. There is also need to carry out a similar but comparative study in rural settings.

This study examines the analysis of marketing mix (7P) effect to buying decision at Sentra Snack Store. Marketing mix (7P) are product, price, place, and promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. The main theory used is Theory of Reasoned Action by Fishbein and Ajzen (1975). The method used by this research is a quantitative research method, where the data is measured numerically and used Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square. Theprogram used SmartPLS 3.3.3. The research was held at Sentra Snack Store, located in Surabaya with seventy samples of Sentra Snack Store customers. The results are Product and Price have a significant effect to Buying Decisions at Sentra Snack Store, while Promotion, Place, People, Process, and Physical Evidence do not. These results can be used as a basis for developing related strategies because they will further affect the company's sales and profit turnover.
