Numerous studies in academic literature study bioeconomy as part of the worldwide desire to find new or more sustainable ways to obtain economic and cultural growth. They view it as a new economic sector used to invent, promote and develop processes compatible with a durable environment. Bioeconomics has had a constant development in scientific literature in the last two centuries. It was created to link to powerful sciences: biology and economics, in an endeavor to broaden the existing theories in both disciplines or create new ones. The connection was created two-fold: using economic concepts and models to analyze biological phenomena or using a biological perspective to study economic behavior. This paper endeavors to present a brief overview of the different approaches found in literature concerning the concepts of “bioeconomy” and "bioeconomics", their similarities, differences and areas or overlap.

Kata Kunci: imbuhan pakan fitogenik, ayam pedagingABSTRACTKeywords: pytogenic feed additive, broiler chicken The use of antibiotic growth promoter (AGP) in feed has been banned by the Indonesian government. Therefore, the search for alternative AGP continues to be carried out. The addition of phytogenic is one of the potential alternatives because it has the same ability as AGP. This paper was written to reveal the opportunities for developing phytogenic feed additives as a substitute for antibiotics in broiler diet in Indonesia. The method of writing this paper was done in several stages. The first stage, the preparation, is done by searching and reading journals, proceedings, books obtained from the internet. The second method is the preparation of the outline of the paper to be written, to determine the author's thinking scheme related to the topic to be discussed. The third method is developing a framework of thought by using scientific literature obtained and read before. Fourth method is examination of the contents of papers that have been written, both substantially and editorially. Based on the literature study, it was concluded that the phytogenic feed additives from various types of plants should be considered as a substitute for AGP in broiler diet.  The need for national chicken meat which is getting higher every year becomes an opportunity for how big the market will be for AGP's replacement in Indonesia. Synergism between university-research institutions and feed industry is the main support in developing phytogenic feed additives in Indonesia. Keywords: pytogenic feed additive, broiler chicken

This paper presents the strengthening of the digital economy which acts as a stabilizer in the trade sector during the Covid-19 outbreak. In a contactless world, most interactions between customers and employees must occur virtually. While still making exceptions to some things, operating digitally is the only way to survive restrictions on activities by the government, including in the economic sector. The instructions for switching in a digitizing pattern are nothing new, they are simply brought into sharp focus. The most recent event, the Covid-19 outbreak, has accelerated a transformation, as evidenced by the sharp strengthening in the digitizing economic sector. Based on a literature study, the conclusions explain the opportunities for the digital economy to support the trade sector which experienced inconsistencies in growth tabulations during this outbreak. Through the perspective of neoliberalism, it can be used to explain how it is related to strengthening the digital economy with the stability of international trade at macro and micro levels.

Purpose This paper reviews the origins of the Ethics Council of the Federation of Social Communication Media of Chile (1991-2019) and looks into the historical circumstances surrounding its creation, the concept of self-regulation as understood by its founders, and the criteria that initially ruled its operation. Design/methodology/approach A qualitative survey of nine contemporary witnesses and the confrontation with the scientific literature. Findings The results reveal a significant coincidence with the academic literature both in the description of the concept of self-regulation and in the origin of the ethics councils and of the system under which they operate. However, a series of nuances not usually considered in the concept of self-regulation are described. Originality/value This study will help assess the national and international possibilities of self-regulation and the significance of the Chilean ethics council.

Abstract Background Scientific literature carries a wealth of information crucial for research, but only a fraction of it is present as structured information in databases and therefore can be analyzed using traditional data analysis tools. Natural language processing (NLP) is often and successfully employed to support humans by distilling relevant information from large corpora of free text and structuring it in a way that lends itself to further computational analyses. For this pilot, we developed a pipeline that uses NLP on biological literature to produce knowledge networks. We focused on the flesh color of potato, a well-studied trait with known associations, and we investigated whether these knowledge networks can assist us in formulating new hypotheses on the underlying biological processes. Results We trained an NLP model based on a manually annotated corpus of 34 full-text potato articles, to recognize relevant biological entities and relationships between them in text (genes, proteins, metabolites and traits). This model detected the number of biological entities with a precision of 97.65% and a recall of 88.91% on the training set. We conducted a time series analysis on 4023 PubMed abstract of plant genetics-based articles which focus on 4 major Solanaceous crops (tomato, potato, eggplant and capsicum), to determine that the networks contained both previously known and contemporaneously unknown leads to subsequently discovered biological phenomena relating to flesh color. A novel time-based analysis of these networks indicates a connection between our trait and a candidate gene (zeaxanthin epoxidase) already two years prior to explicit statements of that connection in the literature. Conclusions Our time-based analysis indicates that network-assisted hypothesis generation shows promise for knowledge discovery, data integration and hypothesis generation in scientific research.

Background: Many figures have stressed that Waqf has enormous economic potential, and in terms of Islamic law and history, is highly recommended because there are many benefits. However, the existing approach for measuring the cash waqf potential  so far is only with the assumption of encouraging people to be in cash waqf but with a tendency to not care (let) that the people continue to make bad consumption for their lives.Purpose: To provide an alternative approach to measuring the potential that is clearly measured, by paying attention to economic behavior guidelines in an Islamic perspective while being able to reveal some of the fundamental problems of the people, especially Muslims in Indonesia. In addition, also to be able to propose the development of the Islamic consumption model as a useful contribution to the development of the Islamic economic concept more broadly. Methods:  This is a literature study and uses secondary data, using inductive thinking patterns with development goals. Research activities are carried out by digging deeper from knowledge about measuring the potential for prior cash waqf and searching for related data and then developing it.Results: This study has obtained the measurement of cigarette consumption as tabdzir/israf behavior as an alternative approach to measuring the potential of waqf that is clearly measured and meets good measurement needs. An Islamic consumption model that at the same time can provide awareness of the problems of the Ummah has also been developed.
