Salah satu strategi untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan jumlah mahasiswa baru untuk masuk ke STMIK Amik Riau dilakukannya kegiatan sosialisasi oleh bagian promosi dan penerimaan mahasiswa baru (PPMB). Media promosi yang digunakan berupa brosur, kalender, spanduk dan baliho serta melaksanakan sosialisasi ke sekolah. Promosi secara digital juga dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan website kampus dan media sosial seperti facebook, instagram, whatsapp serta youtube. Penelitian ini memberikan ide promosi dengan penggunaan Virtual Tour  dengan memanfaatkan teknologi fotografi 360 derajat dengan teknik image stitching. Langkah pertama dilakukan pemilihan beberapa lokasi yang akan ditampilkan dalam Virtual Tour yang berada dalam lingkungan kampus STMIK Amik Riau. Pemilihan lokasi dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan informasi yang sering dibutuhkan oleh calon mahasiswa, seperti lokasi ruang pendaftaran, ruang akademik, ruang baak, ruang perkuliahan, laboratorium, aula dan mushala beserta fasilitas lainnya. Selanjutnya dilakukan kegiatan pemotretan diberbagai lokasi kampus yang sudah dipilih sebelumnya. Beberapa foto yang sudah diambil ditiap lokasi digabungkan menjadi bidang yang besar dengan teknik stitching. Selanjutnya dibuat narasi berupa teks dan audio untuk setiap lokasi foto tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan melalui beberapa langkah mulai dari Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing sampai Distribution. Dari hasil pengujian Virtual Tour ini, calon mahasiswa baru bisa mengetahui informasi kampus tanpa datang ke kampus STMIK Amik Riau. Abstract One of the strategies to increase the growth of the number of new students to enter Amik Riau STMIK is to conduct socialization activities by the promotion and admission of new students (PPMB). Promotional media used in the form of brochures, calendars, banners and billboards as well as carrying out socialization to schools. Digital promotion is also carried out by utilizing campus websites and social media such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and YouTube. This research provides promotional ideas with the use of Virtual Tour by utilizing 360 degree photography technology with image stitching techniques. The first step is to choose several locations that will be displayed on the Virtual Tour within the Amik Riau STMIK campus environment. Site selection by considering the information needs that are often needed by prospective students, such as the location of the registration room, academic room, classroom, lecture room, laboratory, hall and prayer room along with other facilities. Next, there will be a photo shoot at various campus locations that have been previously selected. Some photos that have been taken at each location are combined into a large field with stitching techniques. Then a narration in the form of text and audio is made for each location of the photo. The study was conducted through several steps ranging from Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing to Distribution. From the results of this Virtual Tour test, prospective new students can find out campus information without coming to the STMIK Amik Riau campus.

Failure study on university students is one of the serious problems we face today. Data from the Centre for Education Statistics Research and Development of the Ministry of National Education Republic of Indonesia showed that the percentage of students graduate on time from 2001 to 2011 only reached 51.97%. In addition, cases of students dropping out at the beginning of the semester is also quite significant. One of the causes of failure of this study was the selection of major’s errors when applying to university. This study offers a selection subject recommendation system that builds on the profile data and student’s interest using the technique of Association Rule. Results of the rules of the relationship will then be matched with prospective students using questionnaires dynamic, so expect new students get recommendations more valid subject fit the profile and interest respectively. The system built on this research utilizes student data stored on the academic system of Dian Nuswantoro University. This model however can be adapted by all the universities that has a system of academic information. At the end of this system is expected to be used to minimize failures caused students study majors election mistakes

Acceptance of new students is one of the processes that exist in educational institutions every year, the number of prospective students who register causes the new student admission committee cannot manage everything properly so that it is less effective in handling it. In this study, the new student admission system used by Al-Basyariah Vocational School Bojong Gede still uses the system manually, which still uses paper records, so that minimal damage and even data loss occurs. Making a new student registration information system is expected to facilitate new prospective students in registering by saving time and costs compared to coming directly to school and with the information system of new student admissions, it is expected to help and simplify the processing of students in this school.

Abstrak – Indonesia memiliki banyak tempat potensi wisata, salah satunya adalah yang ada di Manado Sulawesi utara.       Cottage-cottage memegang peran penting dalam bidang pariwisata karena meyediakan fasilitas dan pelayanan penginapan, makanan, dan minuman serta jasa-jasa lainnya. Sejalan dengan perkembangan jaman, cottage sudah berkembang ke pemenuhan kebutuhan lainnya seperti terapi hiburan dan kelengkapan alat – alat diving. Masih banyak wisatawan mancanegara yang belum mengetahui di mana lokasi-lokasi penginapan tersebut, dan lebih buruknya lagi kita wisatawan lokal atau masyarakat Sulawesi utara yang tidak mengetahui ataupun belum pernah berkunjung ke Taman Nasional Bunaken, di sebabkan karena kurang media informasi dan promosi, media informasi dan promosi yang di berikan berupa website, brosur dan media cetak lainnya hanya menggunakan gambar diam. Meskipun sudah banyak regulasi dan kebijakan pemerintah yang memayungi kepariwisataan, namun ini masih belum cukup untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan. Untuk itu perlu adanya implementasi virtual tour media promosi tentang Cottage-cottage di kepulauan bunaken. Pengembangan sistem penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan Luther-Sutopo, yang melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Melalui penulisan ini juga kita dapat melihat, proses penggabungan beberapa gambar menjadi satu gambar panorama 360 derajat. Dalam aplikasi ini pengguna seolah-olah berada di lokasi penginapan dan dapat melihat seluruh titik lokasi penginapan yang ada di kepulauan bunaken dengan sudut pandang 360⁰. Dari hasil aplikasi virtual tour media promosi penginapan di kepulauan bunaken ini menghasilkan berkas HTML5, kapasitas 200 MB, dan berbasis online. Kata Kunci : Interaktif, Virtual Tour 360⁰, Cottage-Cottage, Promosi.

Dalam pengenalan lingkungan sekolah pada siswa baru, umumnya siswa diajak untuk berkeliling sekolah sehingga calon siswa dapat memahami suasana lingkungan sekolah. SMKN 1 INDRAMAYU sendiri masih menggunakan brosur atau spanduk dalam pengenalan sekolah, oleh karena itu bagaimana mengenalkan SMKN 1 INDRAMAYU kepada calon siswa baru tanpa harus mengajak berkeliling. Dari permasalahan tersebut muncul sebuah gagasan untuk membuat aplikasi yang bisa memperkenalkan lingkungan dan memberi informasi serta bisa dijadikan sebagai media promosi SMKN 1 INDRAMAYU yakni menggunakan teknologi virtual reality untuk memvisualisasikan tempat di dunia nyata ke dalam tampilan 3 Dimensi (3D)In introducing the school environment to new students, students are generally invited to tour the school so prospective students can understand the atmosphere of the school environment. SMK 1 INDRAMAYU itself still uses brochures or banners in the introduction of schools, therefore how to introduce SMK 1 INDRAMAYU to prospective new students without having to take a tour. From this problem emerged an idea to create an application that can introduce the environment and provide information and can be used as a promotional medium for SMKN 1 INDRAMAYU, namely using virtual reality technology to visualize places in the real world into a 3 Dimensional (3D) display

Istana Kadriah adalah Istana Kesultanan Pontianak yang dibangun pada tahun 1771 sampai 1778 masehi. Sebagai cikal-bakal lahirnya Kota Pontianak,  Istana Kadriah merupakan salah satu daya Tarik wisata di kota Pontianak yang banyak di kunjungi wisatawan dari dalam maupun luar daerah bahkan luar negeri. Istana Kadriah dijadikan museum yang dibuka untuk umum,dengan tujuan memberi kan pengetahuan sejarah pada generasi saat ini, maka dibutuhkan sebuah media untuk menyebarkan informasi kepada masyarakat dalam maupun luar Pontianak. Media informasi dapat meningkatkan daya tarik pengunjung agar berkunjung ke Istana Kadriah. Aplikasi virtual tour menggunakan voice guidance yang dikembangkan sehingga mampu memberikan informasi terkait kondisi tempat Istana Kadriah. Aplikasi dibangun berbasis website sehingga dapat diakses oleh semua orang.Tujuan dari aplikasi ini adalah untuk membantu pengunjung dalam memperoleh informasi mengenai tempat wisata di Istana Kadriah dan membangkit kan lagi wisata sejarah yang di kota Pontianak. Perancangan aplikasi ini menggunakan MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) yang terdiri dari 6 tahap, yaitu Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, dan Distribution. Aplikasi berjalan dengan baik dan bebas kesalahan berdasarkan pengujian black box, dan dinilai layak dengan hasil persentase 90,17% berdasarkan pengujian aspek usability. Tampilan aplikasi dapat ditampilkan dengan baik melalui desktop berdasarkan pengujian portability.  Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi ini layak diimplementasikan.

Currently, many formal and non formal education institutions are competing to get new students, so the profile of an educational institution becomes an important identity in introducing the institution to the general public. Various ways are used to socialize his profile, one of them STMIK Raharja Tangerang. In this modern era, multimedia plays an important role in the field of marketing as a promotion. The purpose of this study is, for prospective students / i new interested in the Department of Computer Systems, as well as a means of information and promotion effective and attractive to the general public. The problem is, the previous SK's promotional program only uses the brochure and banners media which information is not complete and interesting, for that SK Department requires video profile media capable of providing detailed information and interesting about the Department of Computer Systems, The research methods are: problem analysis, data, media design analysis and, media production concept (KPM). The results of his research in the form of video video profile Department of Computer Systems, which explains the profile of Computer Systems Department STMIK Raharja include CCIT and Computer System concentration, learning methods, excellence, and facilities. With the design of video media profile majors Computer Systems STMIK Raharja can be an attraction to increase interest in prospective new students in the Department, and become an informative and useful media for the general public.

The main objective of carrying out a public relations strategy management in an educational institution is that the school continues to be in demand by educated participants and experiences development and progress from year to year In conveying information, good communication is needed so that the information submitted can be received. In conveying information, public relations must have good strategic management and direction so that what is expected is carried out well Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, Interviews and documentation The results of this study indicate that: (1) Public Relations Strategy Management in Increasing Student Interest in MTs Pacet Surban Foundation includes planning, communicating, implementing and evaluating well and directed by the school to attract the attention of prospective new students. (2) One of the inhibiting factors for public relations in increasing the interest of prospective students to attend the MTs Pacet Surban Foundation includes ineffective time in the implementation of management as well as long distances so that strategic management is not optimal.

Perceptual mapping can provide a means of evaluating a campus through the eyes of diverse student groups. By providing a fuller understanding of areas of interest and exploring the initial perceptions of new students of these areas, percpetual mapping can have important ramifications for the retention of African American students at predominately White institutions. The authors describe a study that illustrates the use of this technique for the environmental assessment of a campus environment.
