When the structure of the connective tissue is disturbed, the probability of developing pathology of the internal organs increases. The gastrointestinal tract is one of the systems that is most often involved in the pathological process in the case of such disorders. Due to its mesenchymal origin, the esophagus is one of the first to suffer. Normalization of mineral metabolism, correction of immunological and bioenergetic status are the main tasks in the treatment of such patients. Therapy with magnesium drugs, vitamins, anabolic drugs, ?-blockers, aldosterone antagonists, and amino acid drugs should also be used for this purpose. Patients in this group should also take drugs that contain vitamin D3

The problem of premature rupture of membranes (PROM) is unfortunately still relevant in modern obstetrics and perinatology, especially in preterm pregnancy, and leads to 20% of all cases of perinatal loss. Among the possible causes, a lot of attention has recently been paid to disorders of connective tissue structure of genetic origin. The article provides an overview of current medical literature on the causes and diagnosis of PROM. Preliminary own data on the positive effect of the advanced algorithm for detecting undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia (UCTD) on obstetric and perinatal outcomes are also given. The objective: to clarify the causes of PROM, the role of the severity of connective tissue dysplasia to predict risk factors for preterm birth, especially when combined in pregnant women with anemia. Materials and methods. A total of 60 pregnant women with IDF were examined. During the survey, laboratory and instrumental methods were used. Results. Quality of life in women with NDTT had an inverse mean relationship between the patients’ well-being and the number of PST phenotypic manifestations (r = 0.653; p> 94%). In addition, a high constitutionally determined level of personal anxiety was established. Quality of life depends on the number and severity of phenotypic abnormalities, ie the more signs of connective tissue dysplasia (joint hypermobility, scoliosis, nephroptosis, increased bleeding, myopia, pronounced varicose veins, etc.), the lower this indicator. As pregnancy progressed, worsening of health and decrease in quality of life in patients with NDST was observed. Conclusion. The advanced algorithm has demonstrated the positive effects in pregnant women with undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia on obstetric and perinatal delivery, and the findings suggest that it is practiced in health care. Key words: premature rupture of membranes, preterm pregnancy, undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia.

Currently, regardless of the age and social affiliation of the population, periodontal disease is the most common. Despite the modern technologies used in dentistry, the issues of prevention and treatment in dentistry remain unresolved. Dentists are interested in the fact that periodontal diseases are inextricably linked with systemic disorders in the body, which are responsible for its physiological functions. And the effectiveness of treatment for periodontal diseases is affected by all the factors that lead to the pathological process, i.e. diseases of internal organs and periodontal diseases are inextricably linked. In this regard, the metabolism in the body of certain vitamins, in particular vitamin D, forces dentists to re-examine the effect of these vitamins on pathological factors that lead to pathologies of the oral cavity.Diseases that affect the duration and quality of life of the patient have the ability to spread widely, for example, cardiovascular diseases, tuberculosis, HIV infection, etc., and oral diseases, in particular, caries and pathologies, can be attributed to this category. periodontium.

Medical records of a patient presented with severe aortic and mitral regurgitation and connective tissue dysplasia were reviewed. Clinical, laboratory and instrumental findings were collected at baseline and after the surgery. Long-term outcomes, including quality of life, were estimated.

Symphysiopathia is one of the complications of the musculoskeletal system that occurs in the second half of pregnancy and childbirth, which can limit the functionality of patients and worsen the quality of life. Symphysiopathia often becomes an interdisciplinary problem that requires participation in the diagnosis and treatment of not only obstetricians and gynecologists, but also traumatologists, urologists and other specialists. Information about the frequency of occurrences of symphysiopathia is contradictory and registered in the range from 0,03 to 2,8 %. These contradictions are caused by the lack of clear criteria for diagnosis, overall terminology and low clinical alertness of treating doctors. The terminology «symphysitis» is not relevant, because it indicates the inflammatory genesis of the disease. Currently, the most appropriate term is «symphysiopathia», which reflects the leading (but not the only) symptom of the disease-pain. Modern research shows that the development of symphysiopathia in pregnant women is based on a combination of several fundamental factors – biomechanical causes, undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia and magnesium and calcium deficiency. There is no consensus about cause-and-effect interrelation, and this problem needs to be studied.

<b><i>Background:</i></b> Research on quality of life (QoL) of chronically ill patients provides an opportunity to evaluate the efficacy of long-term treatments. Although it is established that opioid replacement therapy is an effective treatment for opioid-dependent patients, there is little knowledge about physical and psychological functioning of QoL for different treatment options. <b><i>Objectives:</i></b> Altogether, 248 opioid-dependent patients receiving substitution treatment with either methadone/levomethadone (<i>n</i> = 126), diamorphine (<i>n</i> = 85), or buprenorphine (<i>n</i> = 37) were recruited in 6 German therapy centers. <b><i>Methods:</i></b> Sociodemographic data were collected. QoL – physical and psychological functioning – for different substitutes was assessed using the <i>Profile of the Quality of Life in the Chronically Ill</i> (PLC) questionnaire. <b><i>Results:</i></b> Patient groups were similar regarding age and duration of opioid dependence. Employment rate was significantly higher (<i>p</i> &#x3c; 0.005, φ = 0.22) in the buprenorphine group (46%) compared to methadone (18%). Dosage adjustments were more frequent (<i>p</i> &#x3c; 0.001, φ = 0.29) in diamorphine (55%) than in methadone (30%) or buprenorphine (19%) patients. Buprenorphine and diamorphine patients rated their physical functioning substantially higher than methadone patients (<i>p</i> &#x3c; 0.001, η2 = 0.141). Diamorphine patients reported a higher psychological functioning (<i>p</i> &#x3c; 0.001, η2 = 0.078) and overall life improvement (<i>p</i> &#x3c; 0.001, η2 = 0.060) compared to methadone, but not compared to buprenorphine patients (both <i>p</i> &#x3e; 0.25). <b><i>Conclusion:</i></b> Measurement of important QoL aspects indicates significant differences for physical and psychological functioning in patients receiving the substitutes methadone/levomethadone, diamorphine, and buprenorphine. This could be relevant for the differential therapy of opioid addiction.
