The rapid development and advancement of technology has made significant changes to the condition of society, both in terms of policy, communication, biocracy, or at any existing institutions, without exception educational institutions. Educational institutions are institutions that are directly affected by developments in the times and technology, so that educational institutions are required to be able to keep up with any changes and developments in the vicinity, especially technological developments. The Education Management Information System or known as EMIS is a form of technological development, which is useful in providing real data for educational institutions as a support in managing new useful data and information for its users using computers and internet networks. EMIS is a combination of human resources and other computer-based resources that produces cumulative data storage, recovery, communication, and use for the purpose of effective and efficient school management operations

Education Management Information System (EMIS) is intended to provide real data to support the decision maker. The study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of EMIS in making decision in ‘Mapenda’ of the Ministry of Religious of ‘Gunungkidul’district. The results showed that EMIS that is as the basis of educational data base for making policy has not been able to use it well. Data of EMIS is only used as an initial data and it is done to cross-check through direct meetings or through telephone communication that requires a lot of time.The obstruction is the process of EMIS data collection that is done only at a certain time, so the data is not updated, the issues of EMIS application, the ability to manage EMIS, and the participation of headmaster with the data collection. Education Management Information System (EMIS) dimaksudkan untuk memberikan data yang riil sebagai pendukung pengambil kebijakan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi EMIS dalam pengambilan kebijakan di lingkungan Mapenda Kementerian Agama kabupaten Gunungkidul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa EMIS sebagai basis pangkalan data pendidikan untuk pengambilan kebijakan belum mampu digunakan secara maksimal. Data EMIS hanya digunakan sebatas sebagai data awal dan dilakukan kroscek melalui pertemuan langsung maupun melalui komunikasi telepon sehinggamemerlukan banyak waktu. Hambatan tersebut adalah proses pendataan EMISdilakukan hanya pada waktu tertentu sehingga data tidak update, permasalahan aplikasi EMIS, kemampuan pengelola EMIS, dan partisipasi kepala madrasah dalam pendataan.

The development of the era where everything is instantaneous and fast as it is today must be supported by the development of increasingly sophisticated information technology. One of the functions of this technological development is to obtain accurate and fast information. But in fact, there are still companies / organizations that have not used computer technology as a work aid, such as the Bromo Rajawali Convection which still uses the manual method of writing employee data, namely data storage still using books. Therefore, the design of an employee data management information system is carried out that can help companies control the production data of each tailor employee. The method used in this research is the Waterfall method. It is called a waterfall because the steps that are passed must wait for the completion of the previous stage and run sequentially, for example the design stage must wait for the completion of the previous stage, namely the requirements stage [1]. The Waterfall method consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and Maintenance. The purpose of this study is to design an information system that can make it easier for companies to write down employee production data accurately. From the design results, there are two factors that support the running of the system, namely administration and production data, the input form available on the system that has been designed, namely the login input form and the employee data input form, while the output form contains complete data related to employee personal data and employee production data. With the creation of a management information system in writing data on employee production, the Rajawali Bromo Convection can accelerate the search for more accurate data in the future, and applications made later by the company can be used properly as one of the employee production data systems

Abstract: Education Management Information System (EMIS) is an education management information system to support planning and policy making in Islamic-based education programs. EMIS is a program that also provides real data to support policy makers. Technology and information as data collection bases have a very important role in supporting the achievement of educational goals. With the existence of EMIS, it is hoped that the incoming data can be more accurate and continuously updated so that it can be used as a basis for decision making. This study aims to determine the optimization of EMIS in the process of data base for diniyah education and Islamic boarding schools in the Ministry of Religion, Bangkalan Regency. As EMIS is an education database, it is hoped that the incoming data will be more accurate and updated to make it easier to find information. However, the Diniyah education and Islamic boarding schools in the Ministry of Religion, Bangkalan Emis Regency have not been able to be used optimally. One of these factors is that there are still many human resources who do not fully understand how to operate an EMIS, so that there are still many institutions that have not filled in the existing data on EMIS. The method used by the researcher is descriptive qualitative method, while the data collection technique uses interviews, observation and documentation. Includes data management and data storage management is done simply where data is only stored in an excel. It looks less effective and efficient in the development of technology. This is the implementation of Management Information System is already being adopted by schools, especially in SMP N 1 Talamau. The method used is field research that is qualitative research that is intended to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the researcher, for example perception, behavior, events, actions and so on. This researcher used a qualitative descriptive method, a method that is focused on the problems of the existing problems in the present, then analyzed to obtain data and information. The results of the study suggested that the existing management information systems already meet the standards, both in terms of the student, curriculum, human resources (HR), the facilities and the quality of the user, who is able to manage the activities that exist in the school. The few things that support the implementation of the utilization of management information systems in data management are: 1). human resources, 2). Job Description (division of labor), 3). Means, 4). Special Applications, 5). Library, 6). Learners. As for the impact caused by the existence of a management information system in this study had 4 impact, namely: 1). For headmaster, 2). For the administration, 3). For the teacher, and 4). For learners.
