The article discusses approaches to teaching the "Biotechnology" module in modern technological education in the context of its digital transformation. On the example of using digital simulations and models, the methodological aspects of using educational tools that allow organizing the interactive cognitive activity of students when caring for plants are described. The experience of using a remote controlled hydroponics system in technology lessons is described. A description of the means and tools, software for the remote hydroponics system and a methodology for constructing technology lessons for growing indoor and vegetable plants are given. It is noted that the creation and application of a hydroponics system is a unique example of interdisciplinary integration of knowledge in ecology, biology, informatics and technology. The proposed approaches to the use of modern digital means make it possible to activate the cognitive activity of students in the study of modern biotechnologies and in practice to apply basic knowledge of programming.

Today, the study of the problem of interdisciplinary integration in professional education is a historically formed direction and has been studied by scientists deeply enough. However, within the framework of the implementation of the competence-based approach in teaching, which is the focus of state compulsory education standards, the problem of interdisciplinary integration acquires a new meaning. The essence of the new meaning of interdisciplinary integration is substantiated by the modern socio-cultural conditions of globalization, informatization, interdisciplinarity, and digitalization. Interdisciplinary integration is the applied focus of the components of the educational process of the university (goal, result, content, form and methodology of teaching) and manifests itself in the relationship of academic disciplines with the content and technologies of professional activity of future teachers, as well as in the consistency of the processes of teaching and upbringing at the university. The globalization of education refers to the process of creating a worldwide unified education system, which erases the differences between the educational systems included in it. Informatization of education is a process when the sphere of education is provided with the methodology and practice of the development and optimal use of modern information technologies, focused on the implementation of the psychological and pedagogical goals of training and education. Digital skills in the modern world are necessary and must be complemented by cross-cutting interpersonal skills, as the ability to effectively interact in the current environment of distance learning. In the process of distance learning, video conferences using computer communication, virtual environment, online lectures and seminars are actively used. A distinctive feature of distance learning is computer-based learning, which contributes to the development of digital skills, since it is based on the student's independent cognitive activity, is active and personality-oriented. The above requires the development of digital skills in future teachers based on cross-subject integration. This article examines the problem of developing digital skills in future teachers based on interdisciplinary integration, and also provides a meaningful characteristic of digital skills.

Modern methods of active learning are reflected in one of the most successful ways to develop the training of future specialists. The urgency of the need to improve the quality of teaching economic disciplines is not in doubt. The use of active methods of teaching economic disciplines stimulates the cognitive activity of students, respectively, forms important practical skills of researching situations, problem solving, improves the ability of reasoning and a clear statement of students’ thoughts. In general, today there is a need for non-standard-minded individuals. The need for the developed thinking of specialists in the field of economics, the ability to assess, design and rationalize knowledge and skills is also rapidly growing. The solution of these problems largely depends on the technology and content of economic education. This article reflects the main directions of application of modern educational technologies in the process of teaching economic disciplines. It also outlines the main theoretical and methodological aspects of the modern teaching of economic disciplines using various innovative learning technologies. Reflects the most successful ways of interactive methods of implementing education in the system of higher economic education. The article establishes that the modern learning process can open up a large number of new opportunities for students, thus, the information technology tools for teaching are reflected in an important part of the educational process.

Severe vision impairments are an obstacle to the adequate cognitive and social development of the child. The educational response to priority problems that occur with vision disorders requires appropriate training of vision impairment specialists. For this purpose, they need basic knowledge related to the classification of vision impairments and the main aspects of the development and education of this category of children. This study aimed to analyse the main features of educational activities of children with vision impairments using special diagnostic methods and to search for effective methods for correcting the cognitive activity of children with vision impairments. During the study, an experiment was conducted with children with vision impairments (15 children). To conduct the experiment, the study used methods proposed by V.V. Tarasun and adapted them to the contingent of children with vision impairments. In particular, the following methods: the method of motivational preferences "Three wishes", the method of "Memorising 10 words", and the method of "What, why, how". The depth and time of vision impairment are considered as a primary defect, which has corresponding secondary consequences and requires corrective action under the guidance of an experienced vision impairment specialist.

This is the first part of an article that will discuss digital transformation issues in Russian regions that differ by social and cultural modernization level, as well as the population’s willingness to accept digital transformation in life and at work. Today’s main digital transformation tools and regulators are regional governance systems, along with the relevant official bodies that are responsible for the design and implementation of strategic solutions for territorial development. In response to the associated issues, we interviewed experts in 17 Russian regions that differ by the aforementioned modernization level. We used the data collected during the interviews to: determine how prepared the regional organizations and enterprises are for digital transformation; evaluate the resources currently available for “breakthrough projects”; discover the public attitude towards the introduction of the Russian Federation Digital Economy national project. The article focuses on the research rationales and cognitive procedures that have been developed for the purposes of management sociology, and applies them to studying the issues that arise out of digital transformation and the introduction of “smart” governance on the regional level, based on the optimization of digital transformation through the involvement of the so-called stakeholders — specially assembled activist teams that contribute to the controlled implementation of digital technology in the region in a variety of ways, from research to applied solutions.

The development of competitive environment adjusted to new fast-growing and changing conditions of digital transformation is required. Responding to this challenge depends on introduction of advanced technical and software means, innovation, which could support business-processes at all stages of product movement. The article deals with theoretical and methodological aspects of financing trade business innovation. Types of innovation and their interconnection with business-processes are studied. The author’s matrix of finance methods was designed depending on the type of innovation and finance sources. As an alternative the authors put forward crowd-funding as a fast, cheap and low-risk method of finance support. Optimal, stable, aggressive models of innovation financing in trade were proposed, as well as the structure of ways of raising funds. The choice of finance model is based on criteria of risk factor and reserve of finance stability, which could help maneuver sources of funds depending on changing conditions of trade business entity.

The paper aims at considering the peculiarities of the translation process in the period of digital transformation, revealing the trends and identifying the algorithms of the models that facilitate the qualitative translation. The authors state that translation is the process that undergoes the influence of both linguistic and social factors. In the new century the transformation of the translation paradigm can determine the system of qualitative translation content. The digital translation is seen through the cognitive aspect under the conditions of the transformed requirements on the modern period of development. The cognitive model of comprehension, including the text representation and its realization through situational models, background information and individual factors, is determined. The types of comprehension such as semantic, cognitive and extra linguistic are identified as well as their impact on the quality of digital translation. The positive sides of the digital transformation include the widening of the individual communicative opportunities, increasing access to the communicative resources, stimulating the cognitive activity and the translator’s work simplification. The authors suggest the algorithm for the development of the specialized computer environment possessing translation skills.
