There are still many elementary schools that have not implemented an information system for processing student grades online because of the assumption that this is still not needed, even though in fact the use of computerized information systems can help schools in improving the academic process to be more effective and efficient. Information systems with web-based applications that are now often found still have shortcomings, namely the mobility of their use is still lacking compared to Android-based applications which are now easier to use and access anywhere. The use of web applications as a means for teachers to input values as well as an android application as a means for parents to be able to monitor their children's academic scores is considered to be the most appropriate solution in implementing this information system, but differences in platforms between Android and the web make it difficult for data to be integrated with each other. Therefore we need an interoperability system in order to integrate applications from different platforms. Then an android based academic score monitoring application was made with RESTful web service. The selection of the RESTful web service system itself is because this system applies the concept of a client server where the server to be created is a web-based application that is used by the school to input student grades, and the client application is an android application intended for parents / guardians of students to get information regarding the value of his child. The output of this research is an application system for monitoring the academic scores of elementary school students by implementing the RESTful web service system in its application as well as the results of the application testing questionnaire based on the usability aspect of the application with the final result of the application eligibility percentage of 87%.Keywords: Monitoring Student Values, Platforms, Information Systems.

This research aimed at designing and improving the web-based integrated peer and self- assessment. WesPASS (web-based peer-assessment system), developed in this research, allows students to assess their own or their peers’ performance and project assignments and to report about the result of these assessments so that they correct their assignments. This study employed design-based research. The participants included 102 fourth grade primary school students and their 4 teachers from 2 state and 2 private primary schools in Ankara, Kecioren (Turkey) who employed the system and were engaged in a questionnaire survey to assess its quality. The findings were analyzed through quantitative data analysis. The findings revealed that the system can be used by elementary school students for peer and self-assessment system. The participants stated that WesPASS is simple and user-friendly, and it accelerates the assessment process by employing information technology and allows to share opinions

The Nevada Solar Energy-Water-Environment Nexus project collects a large amount of environmental data from a variety of sensors such as soil, atmosphere, biology, and ecology. Mostly, the environmental data is related to a development of renewable energy resources in the Nexus project. The environmental data can have an impact on other research fields if it can easily be shared with other researchers, students, teachers, and general users. Therefore, Nevada Climate Change Portal (NCCP) site was created for Nexus project with a purpose of sharing such data. However, there are some challenges to address in utilizing such data, collecting the data, and sharing the data among the users. In this research, the authors propose Extended Web Service Architecture for solving these challenges. The authors implement Arduino instead of CR1000 as a collector due to its cost effectiveness. The authors also use REST API to overcome the limitations of Arduino. Moreover, the authors experiment with popular Web-based data visualization tools such as Google Chart, Flex, OFC, and D3 to visualize NCCP data.

Malang Waste Bank, or commonly called Bank Sampah Malang (BSM), is a legal entity of incorporated cooperatives built by the Malang municipal government serving as a container of waste management, especially dry waste. During this time, the customer service process conducted in BSM has been not optimal, especially its online service. Some services have been accessible online through website but the information is limited only to the list of prices and types of waste received by BSM. While other necessary information needed by the customers such as balance checking, garbage collection schedule checking, and information about the types of saving managed by BSM has not been covered by the existing online system yet. This research has built an online customer service system based on mobile applications and SMS gateways for BSM. The purpose of the system is to facilitate the customers of BSM to obtain information about the garbage bank, especially for customers having high mobility. Interviews and observation are used as the method of the analysis of the system requirements. Meanwhile, the applications such as MySQL database, Web service, PHP CodeIgniter, SMS Gateway and Android as a language programming are used to develop the system. This system integrates android applications with web based applications by using web service. This system is made so that customers get better service. Evaluation results show the system that has been built has been successfully tested.

Cloud fabricating is rising as a key empowering influence for assembling organizations to convey exceptionally customizableadministrations over the Internet. This paper means to examine how cloud fabricating frameworks can encourage viable assistance situated business[8]. This framework proposes a cloud-based pluggable assembling administration plot by utilizing distributed computing, RESTful Web Service and edge registering to tackle this issue[7].By making use of a double layer administration instrument, the assembling administrations can be worked as pluggable application module[8].The suggestedSystem enables the designers to convey chose Pluggable Application Modulations from the cloud to the chosenedge gadgets productively and to run and deal with the stopped PAMs remotely through the cloud stage utilizing Web-based GUIs for supporting keen assembling exercises on the chosencreation gear[11]. In the suggestedframework, the key viewpoints are improved assembling system perceivability, data sharing, fabricating process coordination and inconstancy, and educated basic leadership with the goal that the general creation runs as per plan[13]

The prevalence of obesity is on the rise among school children globally and recent reports by several institutions have linked this fact to heightened risk from potential chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and coronary heart disease. Many elementary school students from lower socio-economic groups are especially at risk. Hence it is important for both parents and school officials to understand the benefits of healthy weight and promote suitable changes to the eating habit of children. Acquiring sufficient and appropriate nutrition during childhood will lessen the risk of nutrition-related health problems and lead to a better quality adulthood. A school meal planner with a recommender option is a helpful tool to allow parents and school to plan a nutritionally balanced meal schedule for children. This paper presents a web-based meal planning decision support system (DSS) for parents and schools to provide suitable dietary meals for elementary school students. A demonstration website for the developed system has been implemented online (http://mealplanner.hyperhub.net).

Despite the advancement of digital technology, there is no application specializing in teaching mathematics in English for Indonesian elementary school learners. During the pandemic, teachers need online teaching media to assist them when teaching mathematics.  This article covers the project of teaching media creation for teaching Common Core mathematics to Indonesian elementary school students. The objectives of this project are creating web-based applications focusing to assist teachers to teach Mathematics in English for Indonesian Elementary students; and providing tools for the teachers in terms of material management such as curriculum and exercises; student management; and step-by-step guide during teaching in the classroom setting. Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) is the teaching method supported by the teaching media. The results of the project are two web-based applications. The first application is the Learning Application which contains the mathematics teaching materials and student management. The second application is the Teaching Guide application, which contains the step-by-step-guide for teachers in CLIL classroom setting. The informal trials with 13 elementary students and 4 mathematics teachers as the participants showed positive results.
