Background: Coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) is the disease caused by 2019-nCoV/SARS-CoV-2, a novel β corona- virus of group 2B . COVID-19 has been reported to be associated with severe condition with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). D-dimer is a by product of fibrin degradation. It is widely recognized as a biomarker for thromboembolism and as a prognostic marker for critical patients. Methods: This study uses secondary data, which is obtained by looking at the contents of patient medical records at H. Adam Malik Medan Hospital between 2020-2021. The population of this study was all inpatients confirmed COVID-19 through an RT-PCR SARS-CoV-2 swab examination. The study sample was obtained by the total sampling method, where all populations that meet the criteria of inclusion and exclusion are used as research samples. Patients were triaged as per severity on basis of national guidelines: asymptomatic, Mild (respiratory rate < 24/min, SpO2 >94% at room air), moderate (respiratory rate: 24-30/min, SpO2 90-94% at room air) and severe (respiratory rate >30/min SpO2 < 90%), ARDS and septic shock [6]. HbA1c implementation using HPLC methods and D-dimer is measured by ELISA method. Result: There were 163 patients consisting of 92 men and 71 women, the average age was 56.9±10.3 years, and HbA1c, FPG and PPG remained uncontrolled. There were no differences in age parameters of blood sugar profiles and D-dimers between men and women. D-dimers are significantly negatively correlated with PPG. Conclusion: Age, blood sugar profile and D-dimer did not differ significantly between men and women, and D-dimer had a correlation significantly with PPG on T2DM with COVID-19 patients. Tuberkulosis (TB) merupakan penyakit infeksi yang menempati peringkat utama penyebab kematian di dunia. Indonesia berada pada peringkat ke-3 dari 30 negara yang memiliki kasus TB terbanyak. Diabetes melitus (DM) tipe 2 merupakan salah satu faktor risiko terjadi TB. Paparan hiperglikemi pada pasien DM tipe 2 dapat memengaruhi sistem imun hingga lebih rentan menderita TB. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan gula darah sewaktu pada saat pertama didiagnosis  DM tipe 2 dengan kejadian TB paru pada pasien DM tipe 2 di RSUD Al-Ihsan Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan kasus kontrol. Kelompok kasus berjumlah 34 orang pasien DM tipe 2 yang mengalami TB, sedangkan kelompok kontrol berjumlah 59 pasien DM tipe 2 tanpa TB. Data penelitian merupakan data sekunder yang berasal dari rekam medis pasien. Pengumpulan dan pengolahan data diambil sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil penelitian terhadap 93 orang subjek di RSUD Al-Ihsan menunjuk bahwa pasien yang memiliki hiperglikemia berjumlah 19 pasien (56%) pada kelompok kasus dan 35 pasien (59%) pada kelompok kontrol. Hasil uji chi square didapatkan bahwa nilai p adalah 0,746 (p > 0,05) dengan alpha 5% (0,05), odd ratio sebesar 0,868.  Berdasar atas hasil uji analitik terhadap data penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa gula darah sewaktu pada pasien DM tipe 2 belum dapat menilai kemungkinan terjadi kejadian TB. Random Blood Sugar Unable to Predict the Incidence of TB in Type 2 DM PatientsTuberculosis (TB) the world’s leading cause of death from a single infectious disease. Indonesia is ranked 3rd out of the 30 countries with the most TB cases. Hyperglycemic exposure in type 2 DM patients can affect the immune system, making it more susceptible to TB. This study aims to look at the relationship of random blood sugar levels at the first time patient diagnosed as type 2 DM in pulmonary TB patients with type 2 DM at Al-Ihsan Hospital Bandung. During this study used an analytic observasional method in case control study. The sample of this study was a group of 34 dm type 2 patients experienced TB, while the control group were 59 Type 2 DM patients without TB.. The research was obtained from secondary data from medical record. This collection and processing data were taken in the inclusion criteria. The results of the study conducted on 93 people showed that in Al-Ihsan Hospital there was 54 patients (15%) had hyperglycemia and 39 patients (42%) had normoglycemia. Type 2 DM patients who experienced TB were 34 patients (37%), the results of analytical tests obtained that type 2 DM patients who had Pulmonary TB percentage was more common in patients with normal random blood sugar at 38.5% (15 patients). From the results of this study known p value > 0.746 with alpha 5% (0.05) with odd ratio 0.868. Based on this study shows that there is no relationship between blood sugar levels of dm type 2 patients and the incidence of pulmonary TB.

Background. Lipids play a central role in viral infection, as they represent the structural foundations of cellular and viral membranes. The study aimed to examine the relationship between the D-dimer of T2DM patients with the lipid profile parameters of newly diagnosed COVID-19 patients. Method. This study uses secondary data, which is obtained from medical records of H. Adam Malik Medan Hospital between 2020-2021. The population of this study was all inpatients confirmed COVID-19 through RT-PCR SARS-CoV-2 swab examination. Results. There are 163 participants in this study. HbA1c values were high in T2DM patients with Covid-19, while lipid, and D-dimer profile values were still normal. Parameter of HbA1c, lipid and D-dimer profiles between men and women do not differ significantly. D-dimer is not correlated with HbA1c parameters and lipid profiles Conclusion. In this study, HbA1c values were high in T2DM patients with Covid-19, while D-dimer is not correlated with HbA1c parameters and lipid profiles

Background: Serum ferritin is known as an index for body iron stores also as an inflammatory marker and it is influenced by several disease. We were looking for a correlation between HbA1c and S. Ferritin in type 2 DM. Methodology: The present study a total of 150 participants were enrolled of which 100 were confirmed cases of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and rest 50 age and sex matched healthy subjects constituted the control group. All were screened for HbA1c, Fasting blood sugar, Post prandial blood sugar and S.Ferritin. Results: A highly significant variation and positive correlation was observed with respect to S.Ferritin and HbA1c levels. Mean S.Ferritin was high in the subgroup with poor glycemic control. Conclusion: The fasting, post prandial sugar levels, HbA1c and S.Ferritin were significantly higher in the diabetic subjects. This study shows a positive correlation between HbA1c and S. Ferritin levels. So we can conclude that in diabetic patients S. Ferritin may serve as an independent marker of poor glycemic and metabolic control. Women’s entrepreneurship is a powerful source, regarding to the women’s economic independence and empowerment, as well as regarding employment generation, economic growth and innovation, development and the reduction of poverty as well as one of the terms of gender equality. This poster presents the situation of women's entrepreneurship in Europe in comparative terms, with special focus in Albania. The paper has a descriptive nature. Describes three different plans in comparative terms; the representation of men and women in entrepreneurship, the representation of women in entrepreneurship in different countries of Europe and of Europe as a whole, as well as compare to gender quota. Through the processing of secondary data from various reports and studies, this poster concludes that although that the gender equality goal is the equal participation of men and women in all sectors, including the entrepreneurship, in this sector, gender gap it is still deep. Another significant comparative aspect, it is the difference between full and part –time women entrepreneurship. While in full time entrepreneurship in a convince way, men are those that dominate, in part time entrepreneurship clearly it’s evident the opposite trend, women's representation is much higher. It’s very interesting the fact, that the women’s entrepreneurship in Albania, presented in a significant optimistic situation, ranking in the second place, after Greece in the European level

Background: Patients with critical conditions in the ICU depend on a variety of tools to support their lifes. Patients’ conditions and and their unstable hemodynamic are challenges for nurses to perform mobilization. Less mobilization in critical patients can cause a variety of physical problems, one of them is cardiorespiratory function disorder. Objective: to investigate differences in heart rate (HR) and respiratory rate (RR) before, during, and immediately after early mobilization. Methods: This study employed quasi experiment with one group pre and post test design. Twenty four respondents were selected based on the criteria HR <110 / min at rest, Mean Arterial Blood Pressure between 60 to 110 mmHg, and the fraction of inspired oxygen <0.6. Early mobilization was performed to the respondents, and followed by assessments on the changes of respiratory rate and heart rate before, during, and immediately after the mobilization. Analysis of differences in this study used ANNOVA. Results: Before the early mobilization, mean RR was 22.54 and mean HR was 78.58. Immediately after the mobilization,  mean RR was 23.21 and mean HR was 80.75. There was no differences in the value of RR and HR, before and immediately after the early mobilization with the p-value of 0.540 and 0.314, respectively. Conclusions: Early mobilization of critical patients is relatively safe. Nurses are expected to perform early mobilization for critical patients. However, it should be with regard to security standards and rigorous assessment of the patient's conditions. Keywords: Early mobilization, critical patients, ICU

Background: When compared to people without type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), people with T2DM have an increase in fracture risk despite having higher bone mineral density (BMD). Many studies in Caucasians demonstrated that trabecular bone score (TBS) is lower in people with T2DM than those without. The utility of TBS as a fracture risk assessment tool in Asians with T2DM is currently unclear. Objective: To compared lumbar spine (LS) BMD and TBS in Thais with or without T2DM and investigate the correlation between TBS and hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) and diabetes duration in participants with T2DM. Materials and Methods: The present study was a cross-sectional study that included 97 participants with T2DM (37 men and 60 women) and 342 participants without T2DM (174 men and 168 women). LS-BMD and TBS were obtained. Results: Men and women with T2DM were older and had higher body mass index (BMI). Men with T2DM had significant higher LS-BMD (1.051±0.166 versus 0.972±0.125, p=0.009) and non-significant lower TBS (1.333±0.084 versus 1.365±0.096, p=0.055) than those without. Similarly, women with T2DM had significant higher LS-BMD (0.995±0.155 versus 0.949±0.124, p=0.021) and lower TBS (1.292±0.105 versus 1.382±0.096, p<0.001). After adjusting for age and BMI, T2DM predicted higher BMD in men (p<0.001), but not in women (p=0.143). T2DM was not associated with TBS after adjusting for age and BMI in both genders (p=0.403 and p=0.151 in men and women, respectively). TBS did not correlate with HbA1c in both genders. However, TBS was non-significantly associated with diabetes duration in women (p=0.073), but not in men (p=0.639). Conclusion: T2DM significantly predicted higher LS-BMD only in men and was not independently associated with TBS in both genders. These data highlighted that, in T2DM, there was some variation in the clinical usefulness of BMD and TBS in predicting osteoporotic fractures with regard to clinical characteristic of participants.
