Sapit Bandeng is a typical food from the Gresik region, one of the producers is Mrs. Amiroh. This study aims to design a brand identity and promotion of milkfish sapit Mbok Amiroh-Gresik. The creation process carried out at the stage of making this work uses field research methods, namely direct observation, making alternative designs, selecting designs, applying designs, and final art work. The design is adapted from the illustration of Damar Kurung which is the mascot of Gresik City. This design resulted in the main logo and packaging designs as well as stationaries, merchandise, advertisements in the Jawa Pos newspaper, and mural advertisements on the walls as part of the promotional strategy.

Resumo: O documentário expandido Cine Rabeca é realizado com trilha sonora ao vivo feita pelos músicos Luiz Paixão e Renata Rosa, que há 20 anos circulam internacionalmente apresentando as poéticas musicais da Zona da Mata de Pernambuco. Na performance, em primeiro plano, os músicos estão no centro do palco, sentados lado a lado em um único banco. Por trás deles, projeta-se um documentário sobre suas trajetórias, feito a partir de acervo fílmico produzido entre 1991 e 2009. Este movimento do duplo filme-performers cria uma imagem que fornece insights situados no encontro entre a pesquisa de campo e a experimentação artística. Este trabalho propõe uma abordagem analítica do processo de criação do documentário para pensar sobre como a imagem atua na percepção de vestígios do tempo e na evocação de memórias. Palavras-chave: Documentário etnográfico. Cine-transe TIME AND MEMORY ON THE SCENE: THOUGHTS ON THE CREATION PROCESS OF THE EXPANDED DOCUMENTARY  CINE RABECA Abstract: The expanded documentary Cine Rabeca is staged with live soundtrack by the musicians Luiz Paixão and Renata Rosa, that have been touring internationally over the last twenty years presenting the poetics from the Zona da Mata Norte region of the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. In the performance, the musicians are in the center of the stage, sitting side by side on a single bench. A documentary about their life trajectory, made through film archive from years 1991-2009 is screened behind them. This movement of the double film-performers creates an image that offers insights concerning field research and artistic experience. This paper offers an analytic approach of the documentary creation process and discusses how image acts in the perception of traces of time and evocation of memory. Poetry created by a process of creations which is involving the idea from the owner of the words. Stylistic is a model that speak inside the poetry. M. Rois Rinaldi is the owner of the words who uses stylistic in the creation process. This formulation of research is how stylistics in grouping poetry of Qasidah Jeruji Nurani by M. Rois Rinaldi. The aim of research is describing the stylistics in grouping poetry of Qasidah Jeruji Nurani by M. Rois Rinaldi. This research methods are qualitative. Qasidah Jeruji Nurani by M. Rois Rinaldi is indirectly an expression according to Riffatere, because of three main reasons, the first is displacing of meaning, the second one is distorting of meaning, and the last is creating of meaning. The conclussion of this research is the poetry of M. Rois Rinaldi entittled ‘Kelak’, ‘Membaca Wajah’, and ‘Secabik Senja’ has a specific metaphor about the game of life and death.

This article aims to analyse the strategies that jazz musicians in Barcelona adopt to develop their artistic careers. It focuses on studying three main areas that influ-ence the construction of their artistic-professional strategies: a) the administrative dimension, characterized mainly by management and promotion tasks; b) the artistic-creative dimension, which includes the construction of artistic identity and the creation of works of art; and c) the social dimension within the collective, which groups together strategies related to the dynamics of cooperation and col-laboration between the circle of musicians. The applied methodology came from a qualitative perspective, and the main research methods were semi-structured inter-views conducted with active professional musicians in Barcelona and from partic-ipant observation.

In the discipline of Islamic law research, strong proofing and clear Istinbat method are key pillars in the construction of Islamic law based on the application of the science of usul al-fiqh and maqasid al-shari'ah. However, what happens at the state of Johor’s fatwa institution is the opposite. The fatwa research methods applied by the Fatwa Committee of Johor in resolving current fatwa issues is not based on the right and true discipline of Islamic law research. In fact, current inputs related to fatwa issues are not explicitly stated in the method of determining the law either in the form of reality or scientifically verified. Therefore, this paper will discuss the fatwa procedures undertaken by the Fatwa Committee of Johor based on the methods applied in resolving current issues. The research methodology adopted is library and interview methods. This study shows that fatwa management and production in the state of Johor is placed under the jurisdiction of the Mufti of Johor’s Department. The methods adopted by the Fatwa Committee of Johor covers two methods, namely: internal research methods including literature review through the application of original source and proofs based on syarak. Second: field research method that includes an external review or going to the location of study such as conducting observation, questionnaires and interviews including referrals to specialists of different fields. Maslahah and mafsdah consideration are also implemented by the Fatwa Committee in every fatwa decision based on the standard that meets the interests of maqasid al-shari'ah. Keywords: Metode, fatwa, istinbat, usul al-fiqh, maqasid al-shari’ah ABSTRAK Dalam disiplin penyelidikan hukum Islam, kekuatan pendalilan dan kaedah istinbat yang jelas merupakan tunggak utama dalam pembinaan hukum Islam berasaskan kepada aplikasi ilmu usul al-fiqh dan maqasid al-shari’ah. Namun begitu, apa yang berlaku di institusi fatwa negeri Johor adalah sebaliknya. Kaedah penyelidikan fatwa yang diaplikasi oleh Jawatankuasa Fatwa Negeri Johor dalam menyelesaikan isu fatwa semasa tidak berasaskan kepada disiplin penyelidikan hukum Islam yang tepat dan sebenar. Malahan input-input semasa yang berkaitan dengan isu fatwa juga tidak dinyatakan secara jelas dalam kaedah penentuan hukum sama ada dalam bentuk realiti yang berlaku atau pembuktian secara saintifik. Justeru, kertas kerja ini akan membincangkan prosedur fatwa Jawatankuasa Fatwa Negeri Johor berdasarkan metode-metode yang diaplikasi dalam menyelesaikan isu-isu yang bersifat semasa. Metodologi kajian yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah melalui metode perpustakaan dan metode lapangan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa pengurusan dan pengeluaran fatwa di negeri Johor hanya terletak di bawah bidang kuasa Jabatan Mufti Johor. Metode fatwa yang diamalkan oleh Jawatankuasa Fatwa Negeri Johor merangkumi dua metode iaitu pertama, kaedah penyelidikan dalaman yang merangkumi kajian kepustakaan menerusi pengaplikasian dari sumber asas dan dalil-dalil syarak. Kedua, kaedah penyelidikan lapangan yang meliputi kajian luaran atau turun ke lokasi kajian seperti observasi, soal selidik dan temubual dan rujukan kepada pakar dalam bidang yang berlainan. Pertimbangan maslahah dan mafsdah juga dimplementasikan oleh Jawatankuasa Fatwa dalam setiap keputusan fatwanya berasaskan standard yang menepati kepentingan maqasid al-shari’ah. The present work is part of a research paper for which I extend my heartfelt thanks to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Valko Kanev. It examines some specifics of the artistic creation process that lead to the creation of one of the types of written student texts - the narration. Its variations - "narration by imagination" and "narration by set supports" are regulated in the new fifth grade curriculum. The requirements for writing a narration and the exemplary thematic curriculum of optional literature classes in the 7-tgrade have proven to be applicable in the literature education process.

This article discusses securing the right to respect for one's own religion, identity, and culture. However, it confronts them with penitentiary practice in Polish organizational and legal conditions. There emerges an interesting space for analysing different tendencies to uniformize the conditions of punishment and protection of individualization. Not only are procedural issues involved, but, above all, the mentality and attitudes presented by penitentiary officers. The deliberations are focused on a kind of conflict between yielding under the demands of a different culture and the resistance of prison staff against respecting them. Presented conclusions are the results of field research among penitentiary officers in Poland, but they all start a discussion on the creation of penitentiary policy in this area, especially in countries with poor experience in working with Muslims.


Based on personal accounts of their experiences conducting qualitative and quantitative research in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, the contributors to this volume share the real-life obstacles they have encountered in applying research methods in practice and the possible solutions to overcome them. The volume is an important companion book to more standard methods books, which focus on the “how to” of methods but are often devoid of any real discussion of the practicalities, challenges, and common mistakes of fieldwork. The volume is divided into three parts, highlighting the challenges of (1) specific contexts, including conducting research in areas of violence; (2) a range of research methods, including interviewing, process-tracing, ethnography, experimental research, and the use of online media; and (3) the ethics of field research. In sharing their lessons learned, the contributors raise issues of concern to both junior and experienced researchers, particularly those of the Global South but also to those researching the Global North.

Theories of justice rely on a variety of criteria to determine what social arrangements should be considered just. For most theories, the distribution of financial resources matters. However, they take the existence of money as a given and tend to ignore the way in which the creation of money impacts distributive justice. Those with access to collateral are favoured in the creation of credit or debt, which represents the main form of money today. Appealing to the idea that access to credit confers freedom, and that inequalities in this freedom are morally arbitrary, this article shows how the advantage to those with collateral plays out in different ways in today’s economy. The article identifies several forms of bias inherent in money creation, and its subsequent destruction: loans from commercial banks to individuals and corporations, interbank lending, lending from central banks to commercial banks, and selective bail-outs by central banks. These are not mere inequalities: they are unjust since alternative designs of the financial architecture exist that would significantly reduce them. The paper focuses on one possible reform with the potential to address several of the types of bias identified, namely the separation of money creation from private bank credit.
