The first and main nutrient intake of breastfed infants is urgently needed for the process of growth and development. The purpose of this is to find out the influence of exclusive breast milk and formula on the baby's weight in Posyandu Jatipayak Village Modo-Lamongan. This study uses an observational design of case-control analytic approach that aims to distinguish weight infants at age 1-6 months of exclusive breastfeeding and infant formula. The research instrument was used in the form of interviews and observations with a population of all infants aged 1 – 6 months who qualify for inclusion criteria who were 30 toddlers and using a simple random sampling technique. Results of research that babies who are breastfed exclusively have the majority of normal weight increase of 60%, whereas infants who received formula milk most have an abnormal weight gain of 86.67%. Based on the results of Chi-Square X² = 5.167> 3.841. This study rejects the Ho that proves that there are differences in body weight in infants aged 1-6 months of exclusive breastfeeding and infant formula. The result of this research is expected mothers to provide breast milk as the best food for babies up to age 6 months.

Kecenderungan para ibu untuk tidak menyusui bayinya secara eksklusif semakin besar. Hal ini dapat dilihat dengan besarnya jumlah ibu menyusui yang memberikan makanan tambahan atau susu formula lebih awal sebagai pengganti ASI. Berbagai alasan dikemukakan oleh ibu-ibu sehingga dalam pemanfaatan ASI secara eksklusif kepada bayinya rendah, antara lain adalah pengaruh iklan/promosi pengganti ASI, ibu bekerja, lingkungan sosial budaya, pendidikan, pengetahuan yang rendah serta dukungan suami yang kurang. Salah satu puskesmas dengan cakupan ASI Eksklusif terendah tahun 2015 yaitu di Puskesmas Tlogosari Wetan Kota Semarang sebesar 55,30 % . Meskipun mengalami peningkatan di tahun 2016 namun pencapaian ASI Eksklusif di Puskesmas Tlogosari Wetan yaitu 16,4 % belum mencapai target renstra Kota Semarang yaitu 65 % . Tehnik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Uji analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat menggunakan Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  ada hubungan pengetahuan dan pekerjaan dengan penggunaan susu formula sebagai pengganti ASI eksklusif (p value 0.031 dan 0,015). Sedangkan pendidikan dan peran petugas kesehatan tidak ada hubungan dengan penggunaan susu formula sebagai pengganti ASI eksklusif di Kelurahan Penggaron Kidul-Semarang (p value 0.303 dan 0.846). Saran bagi masyarakat diharapkan tetap memberikan ASI eksklusif kepada anaknya meskipun ditinggal bekerja. Kata Kunci : Susu Formula; ASI Eksklusif  FACTORS AFFECTING THE USE OF FORMULA MILK AS AN ALTERNATIVE EXCLUSIVE BREASTFEEDING. ABSTRACT The tendency of mothers  who do not breastfeed exclusively the babies are growing. It can be seen by the large number of nursing mothers who provide formula milk as breast milk alternative. The various reasons are put forward by the mothers so that the use of exclusive breast milk is low. These reasons include, the influence of advertisement / breastfeed altenatives, working mother, socio-cultural environment, education, low knowledge, and lack of husband support. One of public health center with the lowest coverage exclusive breastfeeding by 55.30% in 2015 is Tlogosari Wetan Health Center at Semarang City. Although in 2016 it has been incerased by 16,4%, however, that number has not fulfilled the strategic plan target of Semarang City as much as 65%. The sampling technique was used Total Sampling. The analysis test was used univariate analysis and Bivariate analysis using Chi-Square. The result showed that there is a relationship between the knowledge and the occupation with the use of formula milk as an alternative for exclusive breastfeeding (p value 0.031 and 0.015). while education and the role of health practitioner have no relation with the use of formula milk as an alternative for exclusive breastfeeding (p value 0.303 and 0.846). The mothers are expected to continue giving exclusive breastfeeding to the babies even if left to work. Keywords: Formula Milk; Exclusive breastfeeding

Mother's Milk (ASI) is the only type of food that meets all the elements of a baby's physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs. Breast milk contains nutrients, hormones, insecurity, anti-allergy, and anti-inflammatory. Nutrients in breast milk include nearly 200 nutrients (Puspitasari, 2016). Exclusive breast milk is a baby who is only given breast milk, without the addition of other fluids such as formula milk, oranges, honey, tea water, water, and without the addition of solid foods such as bananas, papaya, milk porridge, biscuits, rice porridge, and team (Roesli, 2005). This research is a quantitative research using Correlative Descriptive design with an intermittent cross sectional approach. With a sample of respondents are mothers who have children aged 6 - 24 months, the sampling technique of this study is Accidental Sampling. Bivariate analysis used is Chi-square statistic. From the bivariate results there is no relationship between maternal age and the effectiveness of breastfeeding, there is no relationship between maternal age and the effectiveness of breastfeeding, there is a relationship between education and the effectiveness of breastfeeding, there is no relationship between education and the effectiveness of breastfeeding, there is a relationship between knowledge and the effectiveness of breastfeeding, there is no the relationship between parity with the effectiveness of breastfeeding. Suggestions from researchers For health workers to improve the quality of related health services continue to be improved, for mothers and families it is hoped that they can add information to families and the importance of researchers increasing the effectiveness of exclusive breastfeeding to increase infant life expectancy through exclusive breastfeeding, to increase knowledge about health, especially in health.

The use of exclusive breast milk decreases, due to lack of knowledge and awareness of postpartum mothers, besides the increased promotion of formula milk which causes postpartum mothers to tend to give formula milk. This study aims to determine the relationship between education level and knowledge of puerperal women with exclusive breastfeeding in Batua Puskesmas in 2019. The research design used was cross sectional by taking a sample using Purposive Sampling technique used in 50 respondents at the Pusua Batua Makassar Puskesmas during April to June 2019. Data obtained from questionnaires and processed. The results showed that the Chi Square statistical test between the level of puerperal education with exclusive breastfeeding, obtained p value of 0.304 with (α = 0.05), concluded that there was no relationship between the level of puerperal education with exclusive breastfeeding while Chi Square statistical test between the level of knowledge of puerperal women with exclusive breastfeeding, obtained p value of 0.004 with (α = 0.05), it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of puerperal women with exclusive breastfeeding. Based on the results of the above research, puerperal mothers should add information and knowledge through various mass media to prepare themselves to face the role of motherhood, so that babies get exclusive breast milk for up to 6 months.

The correlation between baby’s suck and breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers in RSI Jemursari Surabaya. The mothers feel reluctant to breastfeed their babies even though the exclusive breastfeeding has become a government’s propaganda. The pre-data taken from 15 breastfeeding mothers inform that 60% had a low breast milk production. Purpose of this study was to find out the correlation between baby’s suck and breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers in RSI Jemursari Surabaya.The design of study was analytic-observational done by applying cross sectional approach. The population involved all breastfeeding mothers as imumnunization visiting the hospital with their babies, totally 18 people, in which 17 respondents were taken by using probability sampling technique. The instrument used for collecting the data was a checklist. The variables used in this study were baby’s suck and breast milk production. The data were analyzed by using Chi-Square test with the significance level α = 0.05.The result of study showed that nearly all of the babies (94.1%) sucked correctly, whereas nearly all of the mothers (88.2%) had sufficient breast milk production. Moreover, the result of statistic test showed that p = 0.018 with the significance level α = 0.05 so that p < α. It also meant that H0 was rejected. The conclusion of study often the babies suck correctly, breast milk is produced. Hence, the breastfeeding mothers to still maintaining for breastfeed their baby with train them how to breastfeed correctly to increase breast milk production.

Background: The paradigm change that there is no difference between men and women demands equal rights between women and men. Many mothers work as career women, so many women replace breastfeeding with formula milk. Based on government regulations No. 33 of 2012, a mother is obliged to give exclusive breastfeeding to her baby.Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between self efficacy of working mothers in breastfeeding and infant growth.Method: The type of correlational analytic research is cross sectional approach. The population and sample of working mothers who have babies aged 0-6 months on May 9 to June 6, 2018 at PT Mufasufu Sejati Jaya Lestari MPS Ploso are 30 respondents with a total sampling technique. Independent variable Self Efficacy for working mothers in breastfeeding, dependent variable for infant growth. The growth instrument uses a standard table of body weight/body length from the Ministry of Health and a Self Efficacy questionnaire for mothers to provide breastfeeding. Data analysis using chi square.ResultsThe results of the Chi-Square test analysis at the significance level of α = 0.05 found that ρ <α or 0.048 <0.05, there is a relationship between self-efficacy of mothers working in breastfeeding and growth in infants.Conclusion: The head of the agency/company must provide nursing mothers with exclusive breastfeeding by providing a lactation corner so that the mother can milk the milk and store it in the freezer in the refrigerator and take it home to give to the baby while the mother is working so that the baby continues to get milk without formula milk

Exclusive breastfeeding is very important for babies aged 0-6 months and must be given in the first hour. Exclusive breastfeeding is one of the most powerful influences on children's survival, growth and development. Despite the many benefits of breastfeeding, the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is still low. One of the causes of mothers not giving breast milk because the milk comes out very little. So the mother gives formula milk. This study aims to determine the production of breast milk produced in mothers given oxytocin massage and analyze the effect of oxytocin massage on breast milk production in post partum sectio caesarea mothers in sembiring delitua hospital . The design of this study was quasy experimental design with a total sample of 32 people with aaccidental sampling technique with the type of Posttest-Only Control Design. The results of the study showed that there was a significant the effect of Oxytocin Massage on Breast Milk Production.

    Breast milk contains substance known as IgA for the defense system in digestive tract against infection. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and working mothers with exclusive breastfeeding in Sidomulyo, Stabat. The type of research used is a descriptive analytic survey using a cross sectional study. The sampling technique used accidental sampling with 150 as population and 30 people is involved as the research sample.  The data analysis applied chi square test to determine the relationship between two variables. The results of this study revealed that there is a relationship between mother's knowledge of exclusive breast feeding with a significant level (ɑ) = 5% (0.05) and df = 2, the result is value = 0.026 at df = 2 where sig <ɑ (0.026 < 0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.  Therefore, mothers are advised to continue to provide exclusive breastfeeding to their babies even though they work by storing breast milk in the refrigerator.

Exclusive breastfeeding is the only breast milk given to infants without additional other liquids without solid food for six additional 6 months. Breastfed babies have a greater chance of early success exclusive breastfeeding. Based on preliminary studies in December 2015 in BPM Khairani Asnita, in the know of 20 people who gave birth to entirely successfully perform IMD but only 3-5 people who exclusively breastfed rest melanjutlan with formula. The purpose of this study to determine the factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding in mothers who carry BPM Khairani Asnita IMD in Riau Province in 2015. This type of research is analytic survey with cross sectional study design. The population is mothers delivered in BPM Khairani Asnita and do IMD with babies aged 16-12 months amounted to 60 m people. The sampling technique used is total sampling. Bivariate data analysis with test of chi-square test. Based on the results of the univariate analysis showed that the majority of mothers breastfeed as much as 56.7% exclusive. The results of the bivariate analysis pvalue values obtained for each variable with α 0.05 is for attitude p = 0.000, husband support the value of p = 0.004, p = success IMD 0,007, maternal age the value of p = 0.031. The conclusion of this study that the attitude of the mother, husband support, the success of IMD and the mother's age is a factor that affects exclusively breastfeeding mothers do IMD in BPM Khairani Asnita Year 2015. It is expected the next BPM Khairani Asnita able to reassure patients who visit or maternity there for can give only breast milk until the child is 6 months old, as well as explaining the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding for babies and mothers.

ABSTRAKPemberian ASI eksklusif adalah bayi hanya diberi ASI saja, tanpa tambahan cairan lain seperti susu formula, air jeruk, madu, air teh, air putih dan tanpa tambahan makanan padat seperti pisang, pepaya, bubur susu, biskuit, bubur nasi dan tim selama 6 bulan. Rendahnya cakupan keberhasilan pemberian ASI Ekslusif pada bayi, dipengaruhi banyak hal, diantaranya rendahnya pengetahuan dan kurangnya informasi pada ibu dan keluarga mengenai pentingnya pemberian ASI Ekslusif, tata laksana rumah sakit ataupun tempat bersalin yang tidak memberlakukan rooming-in, fasilitas kesehatan memberikan susu formula kepada bayi baru lahir, banyak ibu bekerja yang menganggap repot menyusui sambil bekerja. Di Puskesmas Wonogiri II cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif sampai bulan Oktober 2010 sebanyak 87% dari 72 ibu menyusui bayi 0-6 bulan (Puskesmas Wonogiri II, 2020). Bidan berpendapat pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif dimulai sejak ibu hamil, sehingga saat ibu melahirkan ibu sudah banyak pengetahuan, sudah siap memberikan ASI eksklusif sehingga cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif meningkat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pendidikan dengan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang ASI eksklusif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey analitik  dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel 72 dengan tehnik sampling yang digunakan yaitu total sampling menggunakan kuesioner terbuka 25 item soal untuk menilai pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang ASI eksklusif. Analisa data menggunakan uji chi square untuk menguji hipotesa. Hasil penelitian tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang ASI eksklusif. Kesimpulan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang ASI eksklusif tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh pendidikan.Kata Kunci : Tingkat pendidikan, Pemgetahuan, ASI eksklusif. RELATIONSHIP OF EDUCATION LEVEL WITH EXCLUSIVE BREASTFEEDING KNOWLEDGE IN PREGNANT WOMEN IN WONOGIRI II PRIMARY HEALTH CARE ABSTRACTExclusive breastfeeding means if the baby is only breastfed, without the addition of other fluids such as formula milk, lemon juice, honey, tea water, water and no added solid foods such as bananas, papaya, milk porridge, biscuits, rice porridge and the team for 6 months. At the Puskesmas Wonogiri II, coverage of exclusive breastfeeding until October 2010 was 87% of 72 mothers breastfeeding infants 0-6 months. Midwives are of the opinion that the mother's knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding should start from the time the mother is pregnant, so that when the mother gives birth, the mother has a lot of knowledge, is ready to provide exclusive breastfeeding so that the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding increases. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between education level and knowledge of pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding. The research method used was an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. The are72 sample with total sampling technique used, and using an open questionnaire with 25 items to assess the knowledge of pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding. Data analysis used the chi square test to test the hypothesis. The results of the study there was no significant relationship between the level of education and knowledge of pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding. Conclusion, knowledge of pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding is not only influenced by education. Keyword: Education level, knowledge, exclusive breastfeeding

WHO stated that 53% of cases were recorded as acute pneumonia, 55% of cases were recorded as deaths due to diarrhea, this was because the mother did not exclusively breastfeed. In Indonesia, the coverage rate of breastfeeding is still quite low, only 54,3%. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding in Gogagoman Village. This type of research is an analytic observational with a cross sectional study approach. The number of samples in this study were 122 mothers with simple random sampling technique, data were collected using a questionnaire through interviews and analyzed using the chi square test (α = 0,05). The results showed that there was a relationship between maternal knowledge p-value = 0.012, there was a relationship with maternal attitudes p-value = 0,000, there was a relationship with family support p-value = 0,005, there was a relationship between support for health workers, p-value = 0,000, and there was a relationship between promotion of formula milk p-value = 0,000 with exclusive breastfeeding for babies. In conclusion, the factors related to exclusive breastfeeding for babies in Gogagoman Village are knowledge, attitudes, family support, support for health workers and promotion of formula milk.
