Owing to the rapid development of information and communication technologies, such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and computer vision, in recent years, the concept of smart sports has been proposed. A pitch fatigue detection method that includes acquisition, analysis, quantification, aggregation, learning, and public layers for adaptive baseball learning is proposed herein. The learning determines the fatigue index of the pitcher based on the angle of the pitcher's elbow and back as the number of pitches increases. The coach uses this auxiliary information to avoid baseball injuries during baseball learning. Results show a test accuracy rate of 89.1%, indicating that the proposed method effectively provides reference information for adaptive baseball learning.

The rapid development in the world of information and communication technologies makes it possible to say that now they are one of the most common ways of teaching. These technologies influence the formation of methods and methods of pedagogical activity, open up new opportunities for communication and obtaining information. Informatization and computerization of education acts as a component of the general trend of global processes of world development, as an initial information and communication basis for the harmonious development of the individual and social systemic information. Preparing a student for an active and fruitful life in a modern digital information society is one of the main tasks of the modern stage of modernization of the education system.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is the concept of linking various objects to the Internet that sense/acquire and transmit data in the environment to create a new application. From a standardization perspective, the IoT can be viewed as a global infrastructure, enabling advanced services by interconnecting (physical and virtual) objects based on evolving interoperable information and communication technologies (ICT). The success of the IoT will depend strongly on the existence and effective operation of global standards. The standardization initiative, research projects, national initiatives and industrial activities are outlined in this chapter. There are already many standardization activities related to the IoT, covering broad research areas: wireless and cellular technologies, networking protocols, emerging applications, media-centric IoT. What is needed, therefore, are a harmonization of standards and effective frameworks for large-scale deployment.

The rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) over the past decades has created new challenges and opportunities for libraries and librarians. As a result of ICT, library services to users have changed, the management of libraries has evolved and the roles of librarians have multiplied. The new millennium presents new opportunities to exploit an ever-growing array of information and communication technologies in the provision of library services. As one millennium draws to a close and a new one begins, there are a lot of questions to answer:

The development of information and communication technologies (ICT) has led to many innovative technologies. The integration of technologies such as the internet of things (IoT), cloud computing, and machine learning concepts have given rise to Industry 4.0. Fog and edge computing have stepped in to fill the areas where cloud computing is inadequate to ensure these systems work quickly and efficiently. The number of connected devices has brought about cybersecurity issues. This study reviewed the current literature regarding edge/fog-based cybersecurity in IoT to display the current state.

The Internet of Things (IoT) has already penetrated an ever-increasing array of daily aspects of life. IoTs bridge the analog and digital worlds in an unprecedented manner and degree by providing in situ sensing. Adding to the IoT the capability to collect interrelated multi-modal sensing, the use of the Internet of Multimedia Things (IoMTs) has recently been exhibited to significantly enhance the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in numerous applications, and most importantly in agrifood systems. In this work, we review key recent works in the conjunction of the three domains of IoMT, agrifood and precision agriculture and present open research directions.

Globalization is a special phenomenon in human civilization that moves on the global community and is part of the global human processes. The presence of information and communication technologies to accelerate the globalization of this. Globalization touches all the important aspects of life. Globalization creates new challenges and problems that must be answered, solved in an effort to harness globalization for the benefit of life. In general, globalization means the increasing linkages between the people and places as a result of advances in transportation technology, communications, and information that led to the convergence of political, economic, and cultural. The discourse of globalization as a process characterized by the rapid development of science and technology so that it can fundamentally change the world. International transport and communications have removed the boundaries of each nation’s culture. Marshall McLuhan’s global village pioneer idea in his book Understanding Media, 1964 said: “Today, after more than a century of electrictechnology, we have extended our central nervous system itself in a global embrace, abolishing both space and time as far as our planet is concerned. “ Key word: Globalisasi, Gelombang Korea, Media Televisi, K-Pop, informasi dan Komunikasi

The article analyzes the issues of improving the use of information and communication technologies in the prevention of offenses on the basis of studying the norms of national legislation, the opinions of domestic and foreign scientists. It is noted that today, cardinal changes in the information sphere at the global level are carried out through the rapid development and dissemination of new information and communication technologies. An increasing influence on the economy, politics, international relations and culture is exerted by the development and improvement of global networks, which open up endless possibilities of direct communication between people in real time. All these advances in the information field create the preconditions for moving towards a completely new type of society - the information society and information space. On the basis of the study, scientifically grounded proposals and recommendations were formulated aimed at improving this area.

The advantages and disadvantages of Mooreʼs, Hilderʼs, Amdalʼs, Gustafson-Barsis laws known in the field of information and communication technologies are shown, offering the necessary mathematical apparatus for constructing similar laws for predicting the efficiency of modern multicomponent computing systems. This apparatus includes both the parameters of the components of computer systems, and possible interdependencies between those parameters. In general, forecasting the efficiency of computer systems requires detailed documentation of the work of computer systems of the class given (the series given) on certain types of tasks with subsequent processing of the data obtained. The collection and processing of this data must take place and be recorded in the dynamics with assistance of appropriate smart sensors of the Internet of Things class.

In the context of the digital economy, one of the main directions for the development of the human environment is the digital transformation of cities. Digital platforms in the field of urban infrastructure are a key instrument for digitalizing territories. The paper substantiates that the transformation of urban infrastructure is an important trend in the development of territories, and also describes the benefits that can be obtained through the introduction of digital technologies into the human environment. As a result of the study, the issues of integration of physical and digital infrastructure of cities were assessed and it was concluded that the functioning of digital platforms is based on the establishment of interconnections between infrastructure objects and data storages through information and communication technologies. The prospects of introducing the Internet of Things into the urban infrastructure as a way to improve the process of interaction of all elements of the human life environment during the implementation of digital platforms are also considered.
