In recent years, remarkable progress has been achieved in the development of quantum computers. For further development, it is important to clarify properties of errors by quantum noise and environment noise. However, when the system scale of quantum processors is expanded, it has been pointed out that a new type of quantum error, such as nonlinear error, appears. It is not clear how to handle such new effects in information theory. First of all, one should make the characteristics of the error probability of qubits clear as communication channel error models in information theory. The purpose of this paper is to survey the progress for modeling the quantum noise effects that information theorists are likely to face in the future, to cope with such nontrivial errors mentioned above. This paper explains a channel error model to represent strange properties of error probability due to new quantum noise. By this model, specific examples on the features of error probability caused by, for example, quantum recurrence effects, collective relaxation, and external force, are given. As a result, it is possible to understand the meaning of strange features of error probability that do not exist in classical information theory without going through complex physical phenomena.

In this article we are investigating the computers development process in the past decades in order to identify the factors that influence it the most. We describe such factors and use them to predict the direction of further development. To solve these problems, we use the concept of the Computer Capacity, which allows us to estimate the performance of computers theoretically, relying only on the description of its architecture.

This article raises questions about development housing in planning structure in the town of Orenburg. The author talks about the development housing since founding of the town of Orenburg and identifies the main historical stages and living buildings. The main attention is on the development housing at the modern time. For the most part it is new type of housing for example multi-storey residential complex, townhouse, individual dwelling. On the basis of the analysis, that was made the author gives some recommendations for the further development of the housing policy of Orenburg.

The construction of quantum error-correcting codes has been an active field of quantum information theory since the publication of \cite{Shor1995Scheme,Steane1998Enlargement,Laflamme1996Perfect}. It is becoming more and more difficult to construct some new quantum MDS codes with large minimum distance. In this paper, based on the approach developed in the paper \cite{NewHeMDS2016}, we construct several new classes of quantum MDS codes. The quantum MDS codes exhibited here have not been constructed before and the distance parameters are bigger than q/2.

Recycling economy, as a new type of development model and economic growth mode, will form a social resultant force in government promotion, enterprise entities and public participation. Thus, it is quite necessary to discuss on the economic behavior, development restriction and profit motive of the Government, enterprises and the public as the micro-economic entities. Especially in the process of current recycling economic development of China, the sticking point for further development and achievement of Chinese recycling economy lies so much on how to enhance the intrinsic dynamics of the enterprises for developing the recycling economy.

Abstract Heavy metal contamination of water resources is a critical issue which adversely affects humans. Ferrate(VI) (FeVIO42−, Fe(VI)), as a new type of green multifunctional water treatment agent, has shown promising potential for environmental decontamination. A complete understanding of the interactions between ferrate(VI) and toxic metals can be conducive to the further development of ferrate(VI) technology for application to wastewater treatment. This review first introduces the purification of ferrate(VI) technology for toxic metals including free heavy metals and metal complexes briefly. The effective parameters are then analyzed and discussed in detail. Subsequently, the reactivity and mechanisms of ferrate(VI) with toxic metals are emphatically described. Finally, possible research challenges and directions for ferrate(VI) technology applied to wastewater treatment in the future are summarized.

An electroactive polymer-ceramic hybrid actuation system (HYBAS) was recently developed. The HYBAS demonstrates significantly-enhanced electromechanical performance by utilizing advantages of cooperative contributions of the electromechanical responses of an electrostrictive copolymer and an electroactive single crystal. The hybrid actuation system provides not only a new type of device but also a concept to utilize different electroactive materials in a cooperative and efficient method for optimized electromechanical performance. In order to develop an effective procedure to optimize the performance of a hybrid actuation system (HYBAS), a theoretical model has been developed, based on the elastic and electromechanical properties of the materials utilized in the system and on the configuration of the device. The model also evaluates performance optimization as a function of geometric parameters, including the length of the HYBAS and the thickness ratios of the constituent components. The comparison between the model and the experimental results shows a good agreement and validates the model as an effective method for the further development of high performance actuating devices or systems for various applications.

The Focke helicopter presents the first successful solution of a problem which has occupied aeronautical science for a considerable time. Details of the record flights carried out last year caused a world sensation and with further development it is not too much to hope that this new type will open up fresh fields which up to now remained closed to orthodox aircraft.

ABSTRACTMokumé Gane layered metal is a 300-year old decorative metal laminate technique peculiar to the isolated culture of the Japanese Shogunate. Like many complex craft practices handed down through individual experience, the manufacture and development of Mokumé Gane has changed minimally over time. The application of contemporary metallurgical knowledge and solid state bonding techniques such as Hot Press Diffusion Bonding and Hot Roll Bonding provide for further development of Mokumé Gane: bonding success rates are improved, and manufacturing times are reduced. In addition, the range of possible metal combinations is substantially increased; 42 different combinations to date have been successfully bonded, including a new type of Mokumé Gane employing aluminium alloys. This research has allowed a very large increase in the variety of colours, patterns, and visual effects, available to contemporary metalsmiths and jewellers.

We study a Dirichlet boundary value problem for Langevin equation involving two fractional orders. Langevin equation has been widely used to describe the evolution of physical phenomena in fluctuating environments. However, ordinary Langevin equation does not provide the correct description of the dynamics for systems in complex media. In order to overcome this problem and describe dynamical processes in a fractal medium, numerous generalizations of Langevin equation have been proposed. One such generalization replaces the ordinary derivative by a fractional derivative in the Langevin equation. This gives rise to the fractional Langevin equation with a single index. Recently, a new type of Langevin equation with two different fractional orders has been introduced which provides a more flexible model for fractal processes as compared with the usual one characterized by a single index. The contraction mapping principle and Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem are applied to prove the existence of solutions of the problem in a Banach space.
