The pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 has caused great social changes, some of them not yet described. This article tries to give an answer to how it has impacted Spanish adolescents in the field of domestic activity and how they use their free time and if there are differences between the normal population and people who have been involved in non-formal education programs, such as Scouts. In addition, young adolescents who actively participate as Scouts have been compared and, if so, belonging to a group has changed their behavior pattern. The sample has been obtained in a probabilistic way representing all the autonomous communities of Spain with a total of 1280 participants. To obtain the data, an online questionnaire was prepared with which qualitative analyzes were subsequently carried out. The results show statistically significant differences in behavior, both in domestic responsibilities and in what they do with their free time. Young Scouts display different behaviors than their non-Scout peers.

The purpose of this study is to describe how university students rate the evaluation systems and strategies that have been proposed for use in Higher Education during the period of COVID-19 confinement and online teaching as a result of the coronavirus crisis in Spain. For this purpose, we prepared a descriptive study by means of an online questionnaire, specifically designed on the basis of evaluation and qualification proposals made by REACU (Spain), ANECA (Spain), UNESCO, and the Spanish Ministry of Universities. The results obtained, after applying them to a sample of 1008 students from different universities in Spain, and covering most of the Autonomous Communities (17), indicate that students agree with and value the changes recommended by agencies and agree that the assessment should be flexible, diverse, formative and continuous. On the other hand, their experiences indicate that the Universities have not yet applied some of the suggested recommendations.

Although many studies have examined the relationship between spirituality and empathy, very few studies have focused on demographic and spiritual dimensions in influencing empathy for pre-service teachers. This study analyzes the effect of gender, age, and years of formal education on spirituality and empathy and analyzes the influence of the spiritual dimensions on empathy. This research is a cross-sectional study, with 319 Muslim pre-service teachers as respondents. The data collection technique used an online questionnaire adapted from the Spirituality Assessment Scale (SAS) and the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI). The results show that age affects spirituality, while empathy is influenced by age and gender. One unanticipated finding was that years of formal education had no effect on either spirituality or empathy. The most important finding of this study is the higher the level of innerness, the more likely it is to have high empathy. This study's findings are useful as an assessment material and creating counseling designs to increase empathy for pre-service teachers. This is a part of forming the ideal profile of counselors in schools later. Integrating Islamic values ​​is also an essential alternative in counseling for Muslims.

This paper tries to unravel the empowerment process by the Paguyuban Pengajar Pinggir Sungai (P3S) in Kampung Blunyah Gede. In the context of empowerment, I emphases the concepts and implementation of activities that have been permitted. This activity is expected to have an impact on the Code River community so that they can be empowered and live independently. The definition of independence can be identified through active participation in non formal education programs. Explosively, this study found that the Sungai Code community can improve well-being by taking alternative education. This offer is known collectively with Free Tutoring, Cheerful Sunday, annual Art Performances, provision of Reading Houses, organizing parents through Parent Committees, and Volunteer Schools. Program routines have an impact on children’s learning enthusiasm, new work produced by children, reporting on learning outcomes, reading group activities, regeneration of volunteers, and children’s potential to develop artistic skills.Tulisan ini berusaha mengeksplorasi proses pemberdayaan yang dilakukan oleh Paguyuban Pengajar Pinggir Sungai (P3S) di Kampung Blunyah Gede. Dalam konteks pemberdayaan, penulis menyoroti konsep dan implementasi kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan memberi dampak kepada masyarakat pinggir Sungai Code sehingga dapat berdaya dan hidup mandiri. Definisi kemandirian dapat diketahui melalui partisipasi aktif sehingga dapat mengikuti program non formal education. Secara eksploratif, dalam kajian ini ditemukan bahwa masyarakat sungai Code dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan dengan mengikuti pendidikan alternatif. Tawaran ini diketahui secara kolektif dengan Bimbingan Belajar Gratis, Minggu Ceria, Pentas Seni tahunan, pengadaan Rumah Baca, pengorganisasian Paguyuban Pengajar Pinggir Sungai (P3S) orang tua melalui Komite Orangtua dan Sekolah Relawan. Rutinitas program berdampak pada semangat belajar, pelaporan hasil belajar, dan karya baru yang dihasilkan anak-anak. Program tersebut juga berdampak pada aktivitas reading group, regenerasi relawan, serta pengembangan skill dan potensi kesenian pada anak-anak.

Objective: to analyze the benefits of physicaltherapytreatmentinpatients withaclinicaldiagnosisofherniateddisc.Materials and Methods: this descriptive study is characterized as a qualitative, quantitative and cross-sectional research. An online questionnaire was collected to collect data about the benefits of physical therapytreatmentinpatientswithdischerniation.Results:itwasevidencedprevalenceofdisc hernias in individuals aged 38 to 42 years, male, with predominance in the lumbar region, having as main risk factor to take / carry weight. As a conservative treatment method, 68.3% underwent physical therapy and 61% of individuals reported having associated exercises with the treatment method. Of 41 respondents, 30 reported that physical therapy treatment helped reduce pain. Conclusion: it can be concluded that the physiotherapeutic treatment through its various treatment modalities provides benefitsto the disc herniated patient, reducing the pain and improving the whole kinesiofunctionalcomplex.

<em>This study aims to analyze the understanding the use of Javanese language "krama inggil" of preservice teachers in primary teacher education programs. This research is a descriptive study of 84 research subjects. The instruments used were description test sheets, questionnaire sheets, and interview sheets. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative. The results of the analysis show that: 1) The average value of understanding the use of Javanese language "krama inggil" was 78; 2) students who are able to communicate using good manners and apply in daily life as much as 38.61%; 3) Some of the difficulties factors of students using Javanese language "krama inggil" include not being accustomed from childhood, parents do not teach Javanese language "krama inggil", preferring to use Indonesian, lacking the motivation to use Javanese language "krama inggil" because it is difficult to pronounce.</em>

The social changes are the result of societal challenges and are related to profound, sustainable, and non-linear actions and their result on the environment, society, and the individual. The impact of societal changes on human and social behavior is not unequivocal, and its understanding depends on the research methodology. For this paper is applied the phenomenological description - a method that refers to the experience lived in the immediate existential from the perspective of the essence of phenomena. The research data is the result of applying an online questionnaire developed with Google Form on a sample of 158 respondents. The results obtained allow us to describe the impact of societal changes on human and social behavior through the specifics of the phenomenon of “global education”: the diversification of the forms of organization of the educational process; interactive discourse - effective teaching method; prioritization of action methods; the use of audio / video sequences in the teacher’s message; the issue of computerized evaluation; the theme of continuing education courses and the importance of the interactive portal for in-service teachers.

Nonformal education plays equal roles in educating people. However, in practice more attention and efforts are given to the formal education. This article discusses how to strengthen the role of non-formal education by enhancing communities’ participation. This could be successfully done if the personnel of nonformal institutions are dedicated, honest, innovative, dilligent, and intelligent. The empowerement of communities to support the non-formal education activities will improve the effectiveness and the efficiency of non-formal education programs.

This study employed a survey instrument to investigate the knowledge topics that are important to a nursing professional. We asked 491 nursing professionals and managers in Taiwan what they thought about 47 educational topics. For each topic, the authors asked them how much they had learned about a given topic in their formal education, their current knowledge of the topic, and how important the topic has been in their career. Results indicate each knowledge topic’s importance, the amount learned in formal education programs, and the educational knowledge gap. The findings also show the amount currently known, current knowledge gap, and the amount learned (or forgotten) subsequent to education. The survey supports current perceptions about the importance of some topics, but it also highlights topics that are sometimes underemphasized or overemphasized. Efforts to develop nursing curricula or training programs for nursing professionals or students should consider the experience of practitioners in clinics and hospitals. Findings should be useful to hospital training departments and nursing educators in universities and colleges to refine or revise their curriculum design. Nursing professionals and students seeking continuing education will also be able to use the results for selecting courses for career enhancement.

The rebranding of adult learning at CONFINTEA V (1997) as an integral component of human resource development for sustainable development paved the way for greater flexibility and innovation in education provision. This chapter illustrates how this development has challenged the traditional methods of teaching and learning in Zimbabwe. Accordingly, the chapter show-cases three major trends that have emerged, namely, the formalization of non-formal education and vice versa, the “universalization” of continuing education and the non-formalization of informal education. Whereas the formalization of non-formal education has occurred throughout the education system (from school through to university) the non-formalization of formal education has been confined to university education. The “universalization” of continuing education is evident in the adoption by universities of many continuing education programs that were traditionally beyond their scope. And, informal education has been non-formalized via trade-testing of informal artisans such as carpenters and builders.

Abstract: In recent years, significant effort has been made by the staff of the presidential libraries to develop formal education programs. Many of these programs demonstrate an awareness of educational research into multiple intelligences, and embrace educational methods that include cooperative learning, authentic assessments, and project- and performance-based learning. In addition, the programs draw from both the archival and the museum components of the institutions. But more can be done. Building creative partnerships, clarifying program objectives, harnessing new technologies, and building support for existing efforts will provide exciting opportunities in the coming years for the libraries to better serve a nationwide audience.
