This study aims to produce a science learning device for junior high school students using a cooperative model type Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) for students with special needs that are valid and fit for use theoretically. The research method used is the development of the 4D model design through 4 stages including the defining stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. The technique of collecting data through validation sheets consists of lecturers, science teachers, school principals, and students. Based on the research results, the validity of the equipment was obtained through the Aiken V index in the RPP of 0.89, LKPD of 0.88, and THB of 0.88. The three components of the device are considered very valid criteria. The reliability test of each component for RPP is 0.818, LKPD is worth. 0.857, and THB worth 0.884. The components of learning equipment are reliable with good categories based on the Interrater Correlation Coefficient (ICC). Theoretically, the learning tools developed are valid and feasible to be tested in class VIII of the Gorontalo City Learning Activity Center (SKB).

The background of this research is that some teachers only know the term regional potential but cannot explain the exact meaning of dar regional potential-based learning. So that the teacher has not been able to pour it in a learning process that is supported by a learning model cooperative to improve learning outcomes. Hence this study aims to: 1) To develop regional potential-based learning tools through guided inquiry, 2) To find out the feasibility of developing war equipment regional potential-based learning through guided inquiry to improve Cognitive learning outcomes of Biology Science students at SMP Negeri 2 Tenggarong Seberang. 3) For know the effectiveness of regional potential-based learning tools through guided inquiry to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of Science Biology Junior High School Students Negeri 2 Tenggarong Seberang. This development research refers todevelopment steps with the Thiagarajan model. By design The development is grouped into 3 development procedures includes: (a) the define stage (definition), (b) the design stage (design), and (c) the stage development (development). Product testing consists of validation tests that are carried out by learning device experts and linguists as well as device feasibility testing learning. Collecting data using observation guidelines and questionnaires for device experts, languages and practitioners an average of 61,07 with qualifications less worthy to be 89,76 with very decent qualifications, which means this device is very feasible to use. This research resulted in (1) regional potential-based learning tools through guided inquiry, (2) the resulting devices increased the results. students' cognitive learning with the difference in the percentage gain score test of the control class and experimental class with very good category 11%, good 14% and enough well -25%. The average value of student learning outcomes for the control class was 44,78 to be 78,14, while the average value for the experimental class was 54,5 to 82,32. As has been proven that the value of class learning outcomes experiment is higher than the control class can be seen in the independent t-testl sig.2-tailed with a number of 0,030 < 0,05. Comparison of t count to the t table of 2,234>1,70329. This proves a learning tool based on regional potential through guided inquiry to improve learning outcomes Cognitive Science Biology effectively used by students of SMP Negeri 2 Temggarong Seberang

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the static electricity subject matter learning device for junior high school students. Learning tools include syllabus, lesson plans, teaching materials, LKPD, and assessment test. The research model used is the Tessmer development model which consists of five steps, namely: 1) Self evaluation; 2) expert review; 3) one to one; 4) small group; and 5) field test. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis to assess the effectiveness of the learning tools. The results showed that the learning tools developed were considered effective as seen from the LKPD results which showed an increasing trend in the indicators of critical skills.Keywords: effectiveness, learning tools, critical thinking skills, static electricityAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran materi pokok listrik statis pada peserta didik SMP. Perangkat pembelajaran meliputi silabus, RPP, materi ajar, LKPD, dan lembar penilaian. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Tessmer yang terdiri atas lima langkah yaitu: 1) Evaluasi diri (self evaluation); 2) pendapat pakar (expert review); 3) uji coba perorangan (one to one); 4) uji coba kelompok kecil (small group); dan 5) uji lapangan (field test). Teknik analisi data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif untuk menilai efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinilai efektif dilihat dari hasil LKPD yang menunjukkan tren peningkatan pada indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis.Kata kunci: efektivitas, perangkat pembelajaran, keterampilan berpikir kritis, listrik statis

This article describes the development of handep cooperative learning model consist of 3-4 members become pair handep cooperative learning model in the form of module and validated by experts and students who used it. The model of development used R2D2, that focused on the design and development stage. The draft of the model at the single-path prototype level validated by the learning expert and small group validation in context the of mathematics learning in secondary school, to get the model at alpha version level. The instrument is rubric and questionnaire for small group testing. The result of the research (1) the model has fulflled the principle of quantum teaching that is context orchestrations include an exciting learning atmosphere and solid foundation; (2) junior high school students rated the model interesting and fun; (3) learning steps that to be challenging on individual work steps and mutually assisting in solved the difcult problems for students individually; (4) the model has reached the alpha version level. Abstrak Artikel ini menjelaskan pengembangan model pembelajaran kooperatif handep beranggotakan 3-4 orang menjadi model kooperatif handep berpasangan dalam bentuk modul dan dinilai oleh pakar dan siswa yang menggunakannya. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah R2D2 (Recursive, Reflective, Design and Development), difokuskan pada tahap design and development. Draf model pada level single path prototype divalidasi oleh pakar pembelajaran dan uji kelompok kecil dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMP, untuk mendapatkan model pada level alpha version. Instrumen berupa koesioner dengan pertanyaan terbuka untuk validasi ahli, dan angket respon siswa untuk uji kelompok kecil. Hasil penelitian (1) model telah memenuhi kaidah Quantum teaching yaitu orkestrasi konteks meliputi suasana belajar yang menggairahkan dan landasan yang kokoh, (2) siswa SMP menilai model tersebut menarik dan menyenangkan, (3) langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang dirasakan menantang pada langkah bekerja secara individual dan saling membantu secara bergiliran dalam memecahkan masalah sulit bagi siswa secara individual, dan (4) model telah mencapai level alpha version. The research objectives aimed by this research are: (1) find out about Junior High School students need for environment-based supplementary reading materials; and 2) develop environment-based supplementary reading materials that are suitable for the students. This study is a research and development. The subjects involved in this research and development are eight grade students of a junior high school. The procedures in this research follow the modified research and development steps proposed by Borg &amp; Gall into four development procedures. The steps of the modified research procedures were the exploration stage that included need analysis; the prototype development stage included the stages of planning and developing the format/draft; revision stage was completed by performing an expert judgement; and finalization stage that produced a final product. This supplementary reading is developed into 3 units. Each unit consists of list of new vocabularies, comic, main text and exercises. The developed texts are recount, descriptive and narrative. These texts convey how the relation between human and environment should be. The last part of each unit is by doing exercises that have a purpose as a confirmation.

In an age-appropriate remote learning activity developed by a researcher-teacher team, junior high school students learned about the link between human health and food safety. The students were introduced to basic concepts about the innate immune system and food safety through a learning activity that focused on peanut allergens in food products. The students (a) learned how to distinguish between the concepts of immunity and allergy; (b) learned about cross-contamination and the link between allergies and food safety; (c) learned what antibodies are and how they can be used for science; (d) applied basic knowledge about the immune system and food safety to screen for peanut residues in suspect non-peanut food products using a commercial test kit; and (e) applied basic knowledge about the immune system and food safety to create individual poster presentations on other types of allergies, such as soy or dairy allergies.

Penelitian ini bertitik tolak adanya kesenjangan antara harapan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar fisika SMP, oleh sebab itu perlu diupayakan peningkatan mutu proses belajar mengajar melalui pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan hakikat IPA dan standar kompetensi lulusan SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kevalidan dan kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu berbasis software adobe flash CS6 pada materi energi dan makanan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif evaluatif yang menghasilkan media pembelajaran IPA terpadu yang valid dan praktis untuk siswa SMP. Media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan divalidasi oleh 2 ahli pembelajaran dan 3 ahli media menggunakan lembar validasi. Kepraktisan produk ditentukan berdasarkan respon 2 guru dan 20 siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang dikumpulkan menggunakan angket respon. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media pembelajaaran dinyatakan valid, sedangkan respon yang diberikan guru dan siswa menunjukkan respon yang positif terhadap perangkat pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis media software adobe flash CS6 yang dikembangkan valid dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu pada materi energi dan makanan bagi siswa SMP. Validity and Practicality of Integrated Science Learning Tools Based on Adobe Flash Cs6 Software on Energy and Food Themes Abstract This research is based on the existence of a gap between learning expectations and learning outcomes for junior high school physics, therefore it is necessary to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process through the development of learning tools that are in accordance with the nature of science and competency standards for junior high school graduates. This study aims to describe the validity and practicality of integrated science learning tools based on Adobe Flash CS6 software on energy and food materials. This research is an evaluative descriptive research that produces an integrated science learning media that is valid and practical for junior high school students. The resulting learning media was validated by 2 learning experts and 3 media experts using a validation sheet. The practicality of the product is determined based on the responses of 2 teachers and 20 students to the learning media collected using a response questionnaire. The research data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning media was declared valid, while the responses given by the teacher and students showed a positive response to the learning tools and learning media produced. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the adobe flash CS6 software media-based science learning device that was developed is valid and practical to use in integrated science learning on energy and food materials for junior high school students.

The procedure utilized is a modified version of the research and development steps proposed by Borg & Gall and included four development procedures. The stages of this modified procedure were: 1) the exploration stage, including need analysis; 2) the prototype development stage, including planning and developing the format/draft; 3) the revision stage, using expert evaluation; and 4) the finalization stage. The resulting supplementary reading material has been developed into 3 units, with the texts being recount, descriptive, and narrative. Each unit consists of a list of new vocabulary, a comic, a main text, and exercises. The exercises at the end of each unit have the purpose of confirmation.The texts aim to convey an ideal relationship between humans and environment.

The purpose of this research is to develop learning tools based for Algebra on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to support the mathematics communication ability of Junior High School students. Learning tools developed in this development research is students’ worksheets. The research method used is 4D model, which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of worksheets’ validation by experts were 4,05 for the layout design and 4,19 for the content (both were categorized as valid). In addition, the students respons that the students’ worksheets were practical (with average of 3,94) and the teacher responses that these were very practical (with average of 4,23). Thus, based on the expert validation as well as the students and teacher of mathematics responses, the learning tools developed have already met the criteria of valid and practical and ready for the field testing to see its effectiveness on students’ mathematics communication ability.

Abstract This study aims to develop a rubric of students' collaboration skills in junior high school on light reflection materials. The collaboration skills are one of the important competencies of the 21st century so that teachers in the field must have their rubric to measure students' collaboration skills. The rubric is based on the adaptation and modification of the collaboration skills section of the International Reading Association (IRA) (2005). The research method used is the method of research and development of 4D (define, design, develop and disseminate) 2D (restricted and design) design model. Aspects that are adapted and modified are contributions, time management, problem solving, working with others and research techniques that are trained on the activity of light reflecting material. Each aspect is given a score of 1 - 4 with 1 (less), 2 (sufficient), 3 (good) and 4 (excellent). Through the define and design stage, a collaboration scoring rubric for junior high school students has been developed in light reflection materials based on adaptation and modification of the collaboration skills framework of the International Reading Association (IRA) (2005). Kemampuan berkolaborasi adalah salah satu kompetensi penting abad ke-21 sehingga guru di lapangan harus memiliki rubrik tersendiri untuk mengukur kemampuan berkolaborasi siswa. Rubrik disusun berdasarkan adaptasi dan modifikasi rubrik kemampuan berkolaborasi dari International Reading Association (IRA) (2005). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan model intruksional 4D (define, design, develop and disseminate) yang dibatasi hanya 2D (define and design). Aspek yang diadaptasi dan dimodifikasi yaitu kontribusi, manajemen waktu, pemecahan masalah, bekerja dengan orang lain dan teknik penyelidikan yang dilatihkan pada kegiatan percobaan pemantulan cahaya. Setiap aspek diberi skor 1 - 4 dengan keterangan 1 (kurang), 2 (cukup), 3 (baik) dan 4 (sangat baik). Melalui tahap define dan design yang dilakukan, telah dikembangkan rubrik penilaian kemampuan berkolaborasi untuk siswa SMP dalam materi pemantulan cahaya berdasarkan adaptasi dan modifikasi rubrik kemampuan berkolaborasi dari International Reading Association (IRA) (2005).
