This study aims to increase the activities and thematic learning outcomes through the application of an environment-based Inquiry model. The type of research used is classroom action research in two cycles with the look, think, and act stages. The subjects of the study were grade 4A students of SDN Salatiga 06, totaling 33 students. Data collection techniques used in this study are test and non-test techniques. Nontes technique in the form of observations on student activities, this observation is done by observation, and documentation during the learning process. This research is said to be successful if at least 80% of students get a score of penelitian 75. The results of the study show: (1) The score of pre-cycle activity in grade 4A is 43.77% and the score of completeness of the results of pre-cycle learning of students is 64% with the average score 60.50; (2) The score of student activity in the first cycle was 72.02% and the completeness score of student learning outcomes was 73.50% with an average score of 72.30; (3) Student activity scores in cycle II amounted to 83.50% with an average score of 83.15 and student completeness learning outcomes on a 91% cycle with an average value of 87.25. The data shows that in the first cycle the activity and learning outcomes have not met expectations which means that the indicators of success have not been achieved while in cycle II the activities and learning outcomes are in line with expectations which means that the indicators of success have been achieved.

Data obtained in this study include: student learning outcomes taken from giving daily test questions given at the end of the cycle, the ability of teachers in learning taken from the observation sheet, student activities in learning taken from the observation sheet, and data about student reflection on lessons learned from the questionnaire at the end of each meeting. Indicators of success in this study are: (1) if ≥ 70% of the total students are categorized as complete with the criteria of completion of learning if the value of the evaluation results in cycles I and II, ≥ 70, (2) if student activities in learning ≥ 70% are measured by look at the student observation sheet. The results of the study in the first cycle showed the average value of student learning outcomes of 65.29 and the percentage of mastery learning at 58.82%. Student activity 61.36%, percentage of teacher ability 68.33%. While the results of research in the second cycle the average value of student learning outcomes by 75.88 and the percentage of mastery learning by 88.24%. Student activity 84.09%, and the percentage of teacher ability by 85%. From this study it was concluded that using the NHT learning model could improve the learning outcomes of chemistry and class X.1 student activities in semester II of the 2014/2015 academic year on the subject matter of nomenclature of compounds and reaction equations.

This study aimed to improve learning activities and learning outcomes of students in class X MIA 1 of Senior High School (SMAN) 8 Bengkulu on the subject of chemical bonds through the application of Auditory, Intellectualy, and Repetition (AIR) learning models by using learning media with lottery card. This study is a classroom action research consisting of three cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, planning, action, observation and reflection. In collection of data was done by non-test and test methods, teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets and post-test. The data was processed by using simple quantitative data analysis techniques, the total value of each student, the average value, the percentage of absorptive power, learning completeness and the average observation score. The results of the study in the 2018/2019 school year showed that the application of the Auditory Intellectualy Repitition learning model using learning media with lottery  cards in class X MIA 1 of SMA Negeri 8 Kota Bengkulu could improve teacher activities, student activities and student chemistry learning outcomes. This can be seen from the average score of teacher activities in the first cycle to the third cycle in a row : 23, 27.5 and 31.5. Student activity also showed improvement in each cycle. The average score of student activity in cycle I to cycle III was sequentially 20, 25 29.5. Learning outcomes also increase in each cycle. This can be seen from the average value of the test results in each cycle, in the first cycle of 61.82, in the second cycle of 67.88, in the third cycle of 79.09. Classical absorption in cycle I, cycle II, cycle III are 61.82%, 67.88%, 79.09%, with the percentage of completeness learning in each cycle of 42%, 73%, and 87.8 %.

This study aims to improve the activities and learning outcomes of thematic learning in grade II elementary school students through the application of picture and picture models. The research method used was classroom action research (clascroom action research) with a cycle of Kemmis and Taggart using 4 stages namely planning, action, observation, reflection. Research subjects with 27 students consisting of 14 men and 13 women. The results of the study stated that an increase in student activity and learning outcomes in thematic learning in class II, this can be seen from the increase in the average acquisition of student activity scores in the first cycle obtained an average score of 31 increased to 35.5 with a good category in the second cycle. Then the learning outcomes are proven from the average value and the percentage of student learning in the form of cognitive, affective and psychomotor values. Cognitive Value The highest average value is in the natural science subjects at 84.16 with the percentage of student learning reaching 100% and the lowest average value in mathematics subjects at 80.83 with the percentage of student learning only reaching 83.39%. Affective value, the highest percentage of criteria namely in SBK, Natural Sciences and Civics reached 88.88% or as many as 24 people and the lowest percentage of criteria namely in mathematics subjects only reached 81.48% or as many as 22 people. Psychomotor scores, the highest percentage of criteria namely SBK, Natural Sciences and Civics reached 88.88% or as many as 24 people and the lowest percentage of criteria namely in Mathematics and Social Sciences subjects only reached 85.18% or as many as 23 people. The conclusion is that the application of picture and picture models in grade II elementary schools can increase the activities and learning outcomes of thematic learning.
