The decline in marital satisfaction and marital well-being which are reflected in the increase number of divorce is global issue. Neglect in roles and responsibilities of the spouses lead to a problematic relationship. Thus the objective of this paper is to investigate the effect of selected character traits of married partner on marital satisfaction. A study involving 165 samples of married samples in the state of Terengganu, Malaysia has been carried out to observe the effect of maried partner's characters namely in terms of communication, compassion and religiosity on marital satisfaction. In this study, marital satisfaction was assessed using a modified version of the ENRICH Marriage Scale. Quantitative method is employed, whereby data were analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with IBM-SPSS-AMOS program version 21.0. The study finds communication, compassion and religiosity have a positive and significant effect on marital satisfaction. This study supports the findings of past researchers that have linked characters of married partner to marital satisfaction. The results of this study may assist professionals and decision-makers focusing on marital satisfaction issues. Keywords: Communication; Compassion; Marital Satisaction; Islamic Family Law

Abstract Background To explore and characterize the inter-relationship between psychological well-being, spirituality, social support, comorbidity, demographic and lifestyle factors and quality of life (QoL). Methods This cross-sectional study was conducted with 305 breast cancer survivors in northern Iran in 2017. The demographic and socio-economic data and physical activity were measured with a standard questionnaire. The standard European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) QLQ-C30 QoL scale, a system-of-belief inventory questionnaire, the social support scale, the short form of the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale and the fatigue severity scale (FSS) were used in data collection. In structural equation modelling analysis, we used the maximum likelihood procedure to estimate the direct and indirect effects of relevant factors on QoL. Results The median age (quartile 1 [Q1], quartile 3 [Q3]) of patients was 50 y (43, 55). The psychological factors designated by anxiety, depression and FSS had a negative significant direct effect on QoL (β=−0.62). Spirituality has a positive direct effect (β=0.089) but a negligible indirect effect (β=0.020) on QoL, while the direct association of social support was almost negligible. Conclusions The findings emphasized the unifying structure of the determinants of QoL and the mediating negative association of psychological factors with QoL. Thus the supportive education efforts should focus on improving psychological well-being along with standard treatment in breast cancer survivors.

Spiritually is an essential part of our physical and mental well-being. Spirituality dimensions also effects marital quality. This paper presents evidences that there exists a positive effect of spirituality dimensions on marital satisfaction. The results are proved through structural equation modeling among the latent variables- direct relationship with God, relationship with God through others and martial satisfaction- in a cross-sectional study of 382 married adults aged 18 to 48 years comprising of 225 males and 157 female respondents. Data was collected in Delhi NCR region through self-administrated questionnaire formulated through marital quality index (Norton, 1983)15 and daily spiritual scale (Underwood, 2002)19. Results of structural equation modeling suggest that there is a positive impact of spirituality dimensions on marital satisfaction.

Environmental degradation has become a critical concern around the world. This study will investigate the influence of managers’ behavior in decision making regarding intention to adopt Green IT. The research will integrate the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) and the Norm Activation Theory (NAT) to the explore factors that affect decision-makers’ intention to adopt Green IT in Nigerian Manufacturing Industries. In this study, quantitative approach will be employed in collecting data through a survey. By employing a non-random sampling, a survey will be conducted among decision makers. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation modelling (PLS-SEM) method will test consistency, reliability and data validity. The outcome of this research could be significant in helping decision makers to adopt Green IT successfully.

One of the critical factors responsible for the successful management of construction projects is individual factors. These factors play a significant role in the decision-makers' attitudes towards risks management. Many previous studies regarding the management of construction projects have focusedon the factors contributing to the success of risk management. However, little attention has been given to factors severely affecting the decision-makers' risk attitudes with particular reference to an individual's risk factors in the construction industry. Therefore, this study aims to identify the factors affecting contractors' risk attitudes and then determine its relationship with government policy. Theoriesof planned behaviour and organisational control wereused to develop the theoretical framework that investigated G-7 contractors in the Kuantan Pahang, Malaysian construction industry. A review of relevant literature and questionnaire was employedto identify the factors affecting contractors' risk attitudes (personal factors). 112copies of a structured questionnaire were analysed with a response rate of 80%. Structural Equation Modelling SEM was utilised to test the hypotheses developed for the study. The results of this study, through SEM,proved that personal factors (working experience, professional competence and physical health) have a significant influence on contractor risk attitudes in the Malaysian construction industry. The findings of this research also confirm that government policy (rules and regulations) plays a moderating role in enhancing the relationship of personal factors affecting contractors’ risk attitudes in construction companies in Malaysia. The findings of the study provide more understanding of the personal factors that affect contractors' risk attitudes to facilitate contractors' decision-making process and serve as a useful reference for further studies in the field of construction project management.

This research aims to investigate whether outsourcing mediates the impact of dynamic strategic capabilities on strategic entrepreneurship. The population of the research consists of top managers in five stars hotels. A sample of 215 respondents were selected for the research in which 186 questionnaires were valid for statistical analysis. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to test the hypotheses of the research. The results of the research indicate that outsourcing does not mediate the relationship between dynamic strategic capabilities and strategic entrepreneurship. All the dimensions of dynamic strategic capabilities have a statistical impact on strategic entrepreneurship, while the dynamic strategic capabilities dimension all affect outsourcing except the seizing capability. Based on the research results, managers and decision-makers have to focus on innovation functions by enhancing the role of knowledge management and R&D activities, as well as concentrate on employees training programs.

Indonesia Sharia banks need to be developed because they have comprehensive advantages over conventional banking. To reach services to the community, it is necessary to expand in developing a network of Sharia Bank offices. Therefore there must be an effort from Sharia banking increases public interest in Sharia Banks so that it can be developed. The purpose of this study is to find out what factors influence the interest of the Bawean community in choosing a Sharia Partner Bank and to find out what the most dominant factors influence the interest of Bawean community in choosing Sharia Partner Bank. This study uses descriptive quantitative method. The population of this study is 165 samples of Bawean community and the sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data analysis technique uses Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis which is a Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The result of this study indicate that the marketing mix factor, internal individual consumers and external individual consumers influence the interest of the Bawean community in choosing Sharia Partner Banks. While the marketing mix factor is the most dominant factor affecting the interest of the Bawean community in choosing Sharia Partner Banks.
