The learning process in the new normal is currently still undergoing a process of adaptation. Where the learning is still limited face-to-face and some others are brave. Process adaptation. This learning requires an NHT learning technique that makes it easier for class II students to understand the concept of social studies learning in the natural and artificial environment as a whole and is able to increase their motivation in learning. The research method uses a quantitative design using a non-equivalent control group design. The variables of this study consisted of independent variables and dependent variables. The population of this study were all second grade students at Anak Saleh Elementary School, while the samples were second grade students who carried out the bold learning process and second grade students who carried out offline learning processes. The data collection used in this study included interviews, questionnaires and observations. The data analysis technique is validity test and reliability test. Analysis of the data used through data coding, data transfer to a computer using prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing. The results of the research show: 1) the level of understanding of the social studies concept of class II students who study with the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning technique is better than conventional learning techniques of 0.429 (results from the t-test) and 2) the level of motivation to learn social studies of class students II with Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning technique of 0.733 is better than conventional learning which is only 0.704. Surely this is greater than rtable = 0.361.  Keywords: NHT; Concept Understanding; Motivation to Learn Proses pembelajaran di masa new normal saat ini masih mengalami proses adaptasi. Dimana pembelajarannya masih dengan tatap muka terbatas dan sebagian lainnya daring. Adaptasi proses peralihan pembelajaran inilah dibutuhkan sebuah tekhnik pembelajaran NHT yang mempermudah peserta didik kelas II dalam memahami konsep belajar IPS dalam materi lingkungan alam dan buatan secara utuh dan mampu meningkatkan motivasinya dalam belajar. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif menggunakan desain non equeivalen control grup design. Variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas II di SD Anak Saleh, sedangkan sampelnya adalah peserta didik kelas II yang melakukan proses pembelajaran daring dan kelas II yang melakukan proses pembelajaran luring. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi wawancara, angket dan observasi. Tehnik analisis data uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Analisis data yang digunakan melalui pengkodean data, pemindahan data ke komputer menggunakan uji prasyarat analisis dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitiannya penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) tingkat pemahaman konsep IPS peserta didik kelas II yang belajar dengan tekhnik pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) lebih baik daripada tekhnik pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 0,429 (hasil dari uji-t) dan 2) tingkat motivasi belajar IPS peserta didik kelas II dengan tekhnik pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) sebesar 0,733 lebih baik daripada tekhnik pembelajaran konvensional yang hanya sebesar 0,704. Tentunya hal ini lebih besar daripada r tabel = 0,361. Kata Kunci: NHT; Pemahaman Konsep; Motivasi Belajar

The use of technology-based learning media, including video in English class can trigger students’ motivation to learn English and improve the learning process. This interesting and innovative media is believed to promote students’ engagement along the process. This descriptive study aims to describe the response of students related to their engagement to the use of English Learning video developed by using Camtasia Studio in second-grade students of elementary school. The data were collected through observations, interview and teacher’s questionnaire rubric. The result reveals that using technology-based media in classroom is really appropriate to increase students’ motivation and learning activeness to get a better teaching and learning process. Students and teacher gave positive responses toward the media and it was categorized into ‘Excellent’ media in which it was interesting and fulfilled the needs of second-grade students. Further, it was suggested for the next research to conduct the study in different grade.

One of factors in the decline of student ability is due to the lack of teacher creativity in the teaching and learning process, especially in Bahasa Indonesia subjects that contain text material so it tends to be boring if it only delivered through lectures. The method (field research) with a descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study, because the researcher went directly to the research location. Researchers use interviews, observations, etc. in data collection. This research shows that when the teacher uses the language game technique to complete the story of the students, the teacher is finally able to improve the ability of the second grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Islam Uranggantung, even by using the language game technique to complete the story, students are able to win the poetry reading contest at the district level.

Abstrak: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas 3 siklus yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, observasi, evaluasi, dan refleksi dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan pendekatan kontekstual menggunakan media gambar binatang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mendeskripsi secara tertulis siswa kelas II SDN Punik menggunakan metode observasi, interview, dokumentasi, dan tes. Diperoleh hasil siklus I yaitu 10 dari 22 siswa tuntas atau ketercapaian 45,4%, siklus II yaitu 13 dari 22 siswa tuntas atua ketercapaian 59%, siklus III yaitu 19 dari 22 siswa tuntas atua ketercapaian 86,3%. Disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual menggunakan media gambar binatang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mendeskripsi secara tertulis siswa kelas II SDN Punik Abstract:  Class Action Research 3 cycles consisting of planning, observation, evaluation, and reflection stages with the aim to know whether the application of contextual approach using animal image media can improve the skill of descripting in writing the second grade students of SDN Punik using observation method, interview, documentation, and test . The result of cycle I is 10 out of 22 students complete or 45.4% achievement, cycle II is 13 of 22 students complete 59% achievement, cycle III that is 19 out of 22 students complete atua achievement 86.3%. It is concluded that the contextual approach using animal image media can improve the skill of descripting in writing the students of class II SDN Punik

Improving English Vocabulary Skills Through Storytelling Method With Mind Maps. The action research was conducted at SDN Tugu IX Cimanggis Depok, Thesis, Jakarta, PPS UNJ, 2011. The purpose of this study was to find out: how the learning process is to improve students' English vocabulary skills through the storytelling method with mind maps. This research was conducted at SDN Tugu IX Cimanggis Depok with research subjects as many as 38 second grade students. This research uses action research according to Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The results of the study show that through storytelling activities with mind maps in learning English can improve English vocabulary skills of second grade elementary school students.

The object of this research is describing the students’ perception and to investigate how the students their perception about their teacher in learning process among second grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Amin Sorong. The method of this research was descriptive quantitative, the collect data is analyzed by using Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 17. The survey study was conducted to gather data from respondents. There were   31 students as respondents in this study. The instrument is questionnaire. The students’ perception about their teacher academic performance was in high level category. The students have 2 positive perceptions and one negative perception. Positive perception is in teacher knowledge of subject matter and teacher attitude to work. While negative perception is in the teacher’s skill of teaching the subject matter. Generally, the result of the data analysis and testing hypothesis shows that most of the students gave perception toward their teachers’ performance in teaching and learning process.

<p><em>The purpose of this research is to improve thematic learning outcomes through the Kahoot application. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which was conducted in 3 cycles. The research was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This research was conducted on second grade students at SD Negeri Margasari 03, Margasari District, Tegal Regency with a total of 29 students. Research time was conducted from October to November 2020. The data collection technique used tests. Data analysis consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Research shows the use of the Kahoot application can improve the learning outcomes of the theme 3 of my daily tasks in class II SD Negeri Margasari 03 Academic Year 2020/2021 as evidenced by the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in cycle I, namely 76%, in cycle II it increases to 83% and cycle III to 90%.</em></p>

Based on the fact that teachers feel the low reading skills of students because they feel bored and lack of interest in learning. It is because the teacher does not use media that made students interesting and used the method of spelling and is not supported by supporting books such as pictorial storybooks that make students interested in reading. For this reason, the teacher used pictorial word cards to improve students reading skills. The form of research is classroom action research, collaborative in nature, the subjects in this study were students of second-grade SDN (State Elementary School) 36 Sungai Ambawang, and researchers who also acted as teachers. The procedure in this study follows the main stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Research techniques are direct observation and measurement techniques, data collection tools used are observation sheets and tests. The results of the implementation of the act of learning to read using pictorial cards in each cycle always increases. In the first cycle, the success of students' reading skills achieved 55.55%, then in the second cycle increased to 100%. With an average value of 62.22 in the first cycle and the second cycle, the average value increased to 77.77. Based on the description above, it can generally be concluded that the use of pictorial word cards can improve the reading skills of grade 1 students of SDN 36 Sungai Ambawang. Thus the pictorial word card media can be used during the learning process of reading to improve students' reading skills.

The background of this research is still low absorption of second grade students in science subject matter. Thepurpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of Science Class II SDN 008 Bumi Ayu through STADtype cooperative learning model. This research took place in class II SDN 008 Bumi Ayu with the number ofsubjects as many as 20 people consisting of 9 female students and 11 male students. This research is a classroomaction research conducted in two cycles. Based on the percentage results obtained by individual and classicalcompleteness by applying STAD type cooperative learning model, before the action of 20% is complete, in thefirst cycle increased 55% and in the second cycle increased by 90%. Increased learning outcomes on baselinescore 64 increased to 76.75 in cycle I, with an increase of 19.92%. In cycle II the average of student learningoutcomes again increased to 84.5 with the increase that occurred from cycle I to cycle II is equal to 10.1%.

This study aims to determine the low reading ability on the second grade students of SDN-8 Menteng Palangka Raya. This research using descriptive method. The population in this study are all students class II. That is divided into two classes, namely II-A, which amounted to 18 people and II-B, amounting to 16 people. The sample in this study is the total number of study population which amounted to 34 students. The result of dominant factor until the very dominant factor is the low reading ability of students of second grade students of SDN-8 Menteng Palangka Raya, that students at reading not pay attention to punctuation there are 34 students or 100%. Learners do not understand the sentence that he read there are 32 students or 94.11%. Learners do not read smoothly there are 22 students or 64.70%. Students at reading reading eliminate letters or words there are 22 students or 64.70%, and learners mistake pronounce letters that sound like a letter b with p There are 21 students or 61.77%.

The aim of this research is to apply Know Want to Learn strategy to improve reading skill in second grade students of SDN 245 Temboe. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted in collaboration with teachers through the use of Hopkins model consisting of 4 stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were the students of class II SDN 245 Temboe which amounted to 19 students. The data collection technique used is by observation, test and documentation. The research data obtained is analyzed by using statistical formula (percentage) to express descriptively the research result. Furthermore, to discuss and explain the results of research that is quantitative descriptive then used data analysis techniques by reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. With the implementation of Know Want to Learn (KWL) strategy can improve reading skill in second grade students of SDN 245 Temboe, the improvement is proved by the increasing of average score of students reaching Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM) and number of students on pre-action test reaching KKM amounted to 26.31% with an average score of 59, in the first cycle the number of students who reached the KKM of 47.36% with an average score of 66, and in the second cycle the number of students who reached the KKM of 94.73% 85. Thus, the reading skill in class II SDN 245 Temboe by applying the Know Want to Learn strategy (KWL) conducted from the first cycle to the second cycle shows significant results.
