The main purpose of this paper is to comparatively study the similarities and differences between of the , null hypothesis and assumption of breach .The null hypothesis , in applied researches, particularly experiments for confirm or rejection .a hypothesis, regard to inferential statistics That used in many different fields of humanities researchers, particularly psychology, education, management and sociological placed assumption of breach, to prove geometric proposition( theorems), which hypothetical temporary, that with the help of reasoning, the false statements, it we conclude. Such a statement may deny our hypotheses or assume reduction ad absurdum. The use of these two words separately and hypothesis alternative in abundance, the world of science and research, has been discussed, but the relationship between these words, mention, yet. Isn’t .This article describes the relation of these assumptions. Likewise, in writing, to the similarity, their differentiation, are mentioned. Including the results, that is, the achieve results null hypothesis, researcher with the error is encountered, but In the Reduction ad absurdum the achieve results, not an error.

A comparative study of the mythological picture of the world, early forms of religion allows us to identify common features characteristic of the worldview and spiritual guidelines of mankind as a whole. These features can be traced in archaic ideas about the structure of the universe, in understanding their spiritual and bodily essence, the infinity of God and the eternity of the soul, the relationship and interdependence of life forms in the world. This allows us to assert the thesis of the unity of mankind in its spiritual origins, despite racial and ethnic diversity. In the process of a comparative analysis of mythology, early forms of religion, the concept of God, the pantheon and the function of the gods, similar moments and ethnological specifics of understanding the essence of the soul and reincarnation in totemistic beliefs, in cosmological and theogonistic concepts are revealed.The author also analyzes the role and significance of the cult of ancestors, traces the evolution of the idea of proto-monotism (the creative function of Tengri and Brahma, the intention of henotheistic faith) and its place in religious knowledge.

Objective. The aim of this research was a comparative analysis of culture beliefs about Russia’s, Eastern and Western civilizations among the youth of Moscow City. Background. Civilization identity is the a basic constituent in forming of individual’s image of the world. Understanding and acceptance of civilization’s cultural particularities helps to save personal and social identity’s stability. But understanding of differences from other civilizations and comparison with them is no less important. Study design. The study examined the relationship between the various components of the cultural representations of civilizations. The presence and nature of the relationship was checked through correlation, qualitative and content analysis. Participants. 200 people (43% of men, 57% of women) from 18 to 2 years old, students of creative universities in Moscow, studying under the training programs for future media workers. Measurements. The study was carried out by the method of questioning, including the associative method, the method of unfinished sentences, closed and open questions. Results. The research’s results proved the hypothesis that culture beliefs of Russia’s youth are qualitatively different for each of the presented civilizations. Besides, the research discovered differences related to gender. Russia’s and Eastern civilizations turned out to be the closest for male according to the research’s results, and for female — Russia’s and Western civilizations respectively. Conclusions. There is a qualitative difference between the cultural ideas of Russian, Western and Eastern civilizations among Russian youth.

The purpose of the study is to conduct a cognitively-comparative analysis of the representation of the communicative-pragmatic frame intellect (Russianум, German Klugheit) objectified in proverbs of English and Russian languages, which, being a reflection of the world view of a particular ethnic group, are a conventional way of expressing stereotypes of the people.The scientific novelty of the study lies in a comprehensive analysis of stereotypical assessments of the intellectual abilities of an individual as a representative of a particular society, through the study of paremias containing the nomination of the intellect – foolishness binome in the English, German and Russian paremiological view of the world.The article bears the result of the study of 1243 proverbial units – 412 English, 433 German and 398 Russian proverbs and sayings. As a result, universal and unique stereotypical representations of the value and the availability of knowledge and intelligence were revealed; the relationship between the level of mental abilities and behavior, luck; dependence of intelligence on alcohol, age, wealth and happiness.In addition, a correlation was determined between related (English and German) and unrelated (Russian) languages, which, in turn, facilitates the process of cognitive learning of the languages studied. Consequently, the article contributes to solving the problems of intercultural communication.

With emerging of economy and increasing awareness, fast-fashion consumption has been a popular trend around the globe. With features of rapid updating speed, competitive capability and unerring insight, fast-fashion brand consumption had been a regular experience for people in the world. However, owning to different consumption perception and cultural background, attitude towards fast-fashion brands varied from one country to another. Therefore, this research was aimed to conduct a comparative analysis on consumption behavior and attitude about fast-fashion brands between Chinese consumers and British consumers. By means of distributing questionnaires to Chinese consumers and British consumers respectively, this research figured out the similarities and differences in relation to consumption behavior and attitude between Chinese consumers and British consumers. Moreover, major factors were explored to analyze their influence on consumption behavior and attitude of consumers. Finally, with the help of research result and its analysis, effective measures were put forward to help fast-fashion brands to motivate Chinese consumers and British consumers to have fast-fashion brand consumption.

This paper is based on an investigation of the Five Phases (五行, wuxing) in traditional Chinese thought within a cognitive linguistic framework. In analyzing three of the five concepts in the wuxing scheme, namely WOOD (木, mu), EARTH (土, tu) and METAL (金, jin), as recorded in ancient and modern Chinese, we attempt to find out (1) the conceptual metonymies and metaphors they have developed, (2) the similarities and differences between the three concepts in ancient and modern Chinese, and (3) the possible reasons for those similarities and differences and the implications they have for ancient and modern Chinese ways of cognizing the world. Our comparative analysis shows that while the semantic networks of the three concepts remain largely consistent from ancient to modern Chinese, those conceptual metaphors which are closely tied to the wuxing scheme are much less active in modern Chinese. On the whole it can be claimed that the ancient Chinese believed in the unity of Heaven and human and constructed the world based on three fundamental conceptual metaphors: “nature operates in accordance with WUXING”, “THE HUMAN BODY OPERATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH WUXING” and “SOCIETY OPERATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH WUXING”. Yet it seems that this belief in the unity of Heaven and human has weakened in the modern Chinese mind and modern Chinese people no longer rely on the wuxing scheme to understand the world.

The article deals with numerical values in the phraseological picture of the world of various linguistic cultures. Based on a comparative analysis of symbolic meanings of stable combinations of Kazakh, Russian, German, Spanish and English, the description of their culturally determined semantics is carried out. Special attention is paid to the symbolism of the prototypical numbers seven, forty, nine, which are part of many phraseological units and explicate cultural meanings that go back to the key values of folk philosophy. The authors conclude that the comparative study of numbers provides information about culturally determined quantitative criteria, allows us to determine the similarities and differences of numerical values in different linguistic cultures.

The article focuses on the problem of the symbolic properties of language and linguistic sign within of the world language image (further WLI). Its solution offers the prospect of a deeper understanding of the relationship of language and culture. As a subject of study the metaphorical rethinkings of different concepts in English and Russian languages with the components of ancient symbols, legends left their mark on the world perception of different nations. The study shows the way the linguistic sign begins to express symbolic ideas, influence the semantics of expressions, closely cooperating with the cultural space, a myth and modern associations.

Japanese comics or manga have caught the world’s attention in recent years. It conveys stories through words and images in a specific order resulting in beautiful works. Now, manga is translated into various languages in the world, including Indonesian. The following study entailed a comparative analysis of the manga Meitantei Conan into Indonesia, primarily concentrating on: the format, for example, the arrangement of pages, lettering, and typography, what was translated what was not. In translating Japanese manga into Indonesian, it was found that there were similarities (retained elements) and differences (adjusted elements). We can found similarities between the original Japanese version and the Indonesian translated version of manga in the writing composition on the chapter title and onomatopoeia. Besides, there are also similarities in cultural terms because the translator maintains terms in Japanese as a translation strategy. The main difference between Original Japanese comics and the Indonesian translated version is the binding system of using, the type of font, and the use of Indonesian cultural elements so that the dialogue of the story characters is more communicative and easy to understand.

The purpose of this study was to assess the relationship between parents’ commitment to their children’seducation and level of students’ discipline in public secondary schools in Naivasha sub-county, Kenya.  Thestudy targeted a total of 197 respondents (constituting 28 head teachers and 169 teachers). A total of 195respondents participated in the study (169 teachers and 26 principals) participated giving a response rate of99%. Purposive sampling technique was used to sample head teachers while Krejcie and Morgan’s (1970)table for determining sample size for teachers. Questionnaires were used as instrument for data collection.SPSS was used to analyze the data where both descriptive and inferential statistics were used. The analyzeddata were presented in terms of graphs and tables. The results showed that there was a significant positiverelationship between parents’ commitment to child’s education and students’ discipline (r = .387, p = .000).Therefore, the null hypothesis that there was no significant relationship between parents’ commitment tochild’s education and students’ discipline was rejected at .05 level of confidence. The study thereforeconcluded that parents’ commitment to child’s education influences students’ discipline in secondaryschools in Naivasha sub-county. It was recommended that parents should be more committed to theirchildren’s’ education. This can be achieved through participating in school meetings and materiallysupporting the education of their children
