The following article deals with the problem of integrating security issues into the study programme of faculties training teachers in individual fields of education. It evaluates the current status of the development of the issues at the level of interdepartmental cooperation of selected state administration institutions. Based on exploratory research by the Czech School Inspectorate, the current status of the implementation of security issues into schools and educational establishments is described. The ongoing pilot verification of the e-learning module in security issues at the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague is also introduced. The article contains statistical data from the statutory research task, which was carried out in the form of a diagnostic survey involving the staff and students of the Charles University in Prague. The research was dedicated to the issues of educating the teaching staff of the Czech education system in the field of safety issues, with particular emphasis on the safety of students and educational institutions. The article also presents the level of knowledge and practical skills of primary school teachers in the field of responding to crisis situations that may occur in the school environment, e.g active shooter.

In this study, pre-service teachers’ attitudes and readiness towards e-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic were examined. This research was carried out in the Fall Semester of the 2020-2021 Academic Year, with the participation of 519 pre-service teachers from Balıkesir University Necatibey Faculty of Education and Faculty of Sport Sciences, Department of Physical Education and Sports Education. In the collection of data, the General Attitude Scale towards e-learning developed by Haznedar and Baran (2012) and the Online Learning Readiness Scale adapted to Turkish Culture by İlhan and Çetin (2013), were used. In this study, it was found that pre-service teachers had a negative attitude towards e-learning and that they considered themselves competent in terms of e-learning readiness. There was no difference in terms of e-learning attitudes and readiness of the teacher candidates according to the department they studied. In addition, it was found that there was a significant relationship between pre-service teachers’ attitudes towards e-learning and their readiness, and that e-learning readiness was an effective factor in the adoption of the e-learning process.

<p class="0abstract">This study aims to describe the use of the flipped classroom for improving the self-regulated learning of pre-service teachers. This explanatory mixed-method collected the information related to the characteristics of students who take Theory Learning courses through e-learning. This research collaborated with students of 2018 which included 30 students and 7 lecturers of Theory Learning courses from 7 study programs at the Faculty of Education Science, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The results show by a one-tailed test at a significant level 0,05 with n-1 = 29 is 2,045, so tcount (5,843) &gt; ttable (2,045), means an increase after the use of flipped classroom learning outcomes in Theory Learning courses. And also improving self-regulated students. It can be concluded that in general the learning independence of the students of the Faculty of Education Science of Universitas Negeri Jakarta in the indicators has self-confidence categorized as positive<strong>.</strong></p>

<p class="apa">The aims of this study are to probe into the motivational factors toward the usage of e-learning and social media among educational technology postgraduate students in the Faculty of Education, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. This study had involved 70 respondents via the means of a questionnaire. Four factors have been studied, named, the factor of technology, exposure, content and social influence. Via Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), this research uncovers that respondents usage of e-learning is being motivated by the factor of technology and content. The respondents use of social media was found to be motivated by the factor of technology and social influence. A strong positive relationship exists between the usage of e-learning and social media suggesting that social media can be manipulated as supporting material for e-learning. Yet, the finding may not be generalized to all Malaysian educational technology postgraduate students.</p>

This article focuses on comparing two e-learning strategies (cooperative versus collaborative) in terms of developing preservice teachers' skills in designing one of the modern Web 2.0 assessment tools (i.e., e-portfolio) and their effects on product quality and achievement motivation towards designing e-portfolio. After the experiment involving 80 students from the third level at the faculty of education, King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia, during the first semester of the school year 2017/2018, a questionnaire on achievement motivation and a product quality assessment card were used. The results show no significant difference between the two e-learning strategies regarding students' achievement motivation. On the other hand, there is a significant difference in product quality in favor of cooperative e-learning. The study highlights social-network based e-learning strategies of developing preservice teachers' teaching and evaluating skills that they need to apply in the new digital era.

The study aims to find out the effectiveness of the discussion forum on Moodle based elearning to improve students learning participation. The study employs pre-experiment method with one group pretest-posttest design and analysis method uses non-parametric statistics with T-test. The study is conducted at Information Technology Department of Faculty of Education at University of Technology Yogyakarta. The research sample is taken from the fourth semester student of Information Technology Education Department who enroll theory course. Instrument used in this study is guided observation to observe students learning participation with 2 answer alternatives. The study result shows that discussion forum on Moodle based e-learning can improve students learning participation compared to discussion occurred in the conventional classroom or classical discussion with the significant result of improvement for about 37%.
