Currently, one of the priorities of the state's development is to improve the demographic situation in the country, as well as support for motherhood, childhood and family. In order to achieve these goals, the Russian legal policy provides for various mechanisms, one of which is the provision of deferred sentence for pregnant women, women and men who are the only parent, until the child reaches the age of fourteen. The social purpose of this type of deferral is to ensure the rights of children to development and upbringing in their native family. Surrogacy, which involves the carrying and giving birth of a child by a woman for another person or persons who will become parents of the child after its birth, has recently gained popularity. At the same time, some issues related to the implementation of the requirements for postponing the serving of sentences for surrogate mothers remain unresolved in Russian legislation. In particular, this article discusses the problems of legal consequences for surrogate mothers who are granted a suspended sentence in the case of the transfer of the child in accordance with the requirements of the contract to potential parents and suggests ways to solve them.

This chapter looks to the future of teaching realism with Web 2.0 technologies. After discussing the ways in which technologies of data modeling can reveal patterns for interpretation, the chapter examines how these technologies can update the social-reform agenda of realism as exemplified by William Dean Howells’s attempted intervention into the Haymarket Riot in 1886. The advent of Web 2.0 techologies offers students a way to harness the genre’s sense of social purpose to knowledge-sharing mechanisms to create a vehicle for political consciousness-raising in real time. The result is “Realism 2.0,” a realism that enables readers to engage in their world, which is less text-centric than it was for previous writers.

The article discusses the formation of the demographic situation in Russia, considering the influence on them of the parameters of the development of social infrastructure. Today, most regions of the country are characterized by a decrease in population. Moreover, it is the level of development of medicine, education and other components of social infrastructure that determine the living conditions of the population and, as a result, the processes of natural and migration movement of the population. The study aims to determine the quantitative parameters of this relationship and the formation based on the results of the received rating of the administrative entities of the Russian Federation. In the framework of the work, we used methods of retrospective analysis, grouping, cluster analysis, correlation and regression analysis, and other methods. Further, we formed a list of indicators characterizing the level of development of the social infrastructure of the territory and highlighted groups of indicators. We proposed An approach to the formation of integral indicators of the level of development of social infrastructure for individual components of the population movement. The regions of the Russian Federation were grouped by the totality of the parameters of the demographic situation and socio-economic factors. As a result of testing the approach, we formed private and integral ratings of the regions of Russia according to the ratio of the parameters of the demographic situation and the level of development of social infrastructure. The results can be used in the development of the state demographic policy.

Introduction Apart from physiological and somatic changes, pregnancy is a complex phenomenon which also includes psychological and social changes. Pregnancy, especially the first one, represents a powerful psychological event. This paper deals with pregnancy as a psychological event, considering psychological changes in the course of pregnancy as a stressful event. Psychological changes during pregnancy Pregnancy is always associated with changes in psychological functioning of pregnant women. It is usually associated with ambivalence, frequent mood changes, varying from anxiety, fatigue, exhaustion, sleepiness, depressive reactions to excitement. During pregnancy, changes include body appearance, affectivity and sexuality, whereas the position and role of women attains a new quality. Even thoughts of pregnancy can bring about numerous worries about its course and outcome, and especially of the delivery itself, which may be so intense that they acquire a features of phobia (which may be the reason for avoiding pregnancy). Pregnancy as a stressful event Pregnancy is identified as a potent stressor that can seriously affect the psychic status of pregnant women, perinatal outcome, but also psychic functioning of the new-born individual. Appropriate relationship of partners and support of the society play an important role in overcoming stress during pregnancy. Conclusion Pregnancy is an event that involves numerous somatic and psychological changes. However, pregnancy can also be a potent stressor. Existence of prenatal maternal stress may lead to different perinatal complications that may have long-term consequences on the newborn. In prevention of maternal stress emphasis has to be put on partner?s emotional support, as well as empathy of the social environment. However, in certain cases, professional psychotherapeutic support is necessary, in form of short supportive treatment. Preventive measures should include adequate psychological support during pregnancy, especially the first one, provided for all pregnant women, but also for those women that plan to get pregnant in the near future.
