In the creative industry world, many start-up stationery businesses have started to emerge which still have an audience base. The main target market is Gen Z teenagers who are actively using social media. To be able to reach Gen Z, the right marketing strategy is needed to create brand awareness of the stationary business. Therefore, it is necessary to study literature on social media strategies, brand communication and Gen Z behavior in using social media. From the results of the literature study, it can be said that social media content that is simple, relevant, and repeatable is effective in building relationships between stationery and consumers on social media. It is hoped that with optimal use of social media, brand awareness of the stationary business will also increase.   Keywords: Social Media Strategy, Gen Z, Brand Communication

Currently, environmental issues are a sensitive matter and are widely discussed in the world and in Indonesia. Environmentally friendly products have started to be widely used and have become a new lifestyle for several groups of people. Many business actors take this opportunity to start a business which at the same time invites the public to care more about environmental health. Therapeutic is a new business created because of the founder's awareness of environmental issues that are currently happening. Carrying eco-friendly products, Therapeutic sells natural soap bar and scented products that are made from natural ingredients and do not cause environmental damage, as well as applying the concepts of less-waste, reuse, and eco-lifestyle. As a new brand that stands in the midst of a pandemic like today, Therapeutic has several obstacles, namely in Indonesia there have been many similar products or businesses that will cause Therapeutic to lose competitiveness and lose name when faced with competitors. In addition, Therapeutic still needs trust from consumers, which is very necessary for the types of products and systems from Therapeutic. From the problems faced, Therapeutic conducted research to find out what marketing strategies and promotional media were right to increase brand awareness.   The formulation of the problem in this study is how the brand activation strategy and promotional media are in accordance with the target market to increase Therapeutic brand awareness in social media. This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods in collecting data. The qualitative method is carried out by interviewing several experts and extreme users of eco-lifestyle actors to find data on how to carry out the right promotion. The quantitative method is carried out by surveying the Indonesian people to find out what social media platforms are most effective in promoting. The results of this study concluded that the right brand activation strategy for Therapeutic is by carrying out activities that can attract public interest such as workshops, so that the activities carried out can simultaneously introduce products and brands and provide education. The right social media platform to promote Therapeutic activation is Instagram.   Keywords: Brand Activation, Eco-Lifestyle, Eco-Friendly, Social Media.

Social media as a digital marketing channel is currently utilized as a promotional media for business people especially those who choose the millennial generation segment as their main target market. The growth in the number of social media users today is also seen as an opportunity to build brand awareness through social media. This research aims to find out strategies in building brand awareness with social media marketing on Instagram for millennials. This research focuses on social media marketing that has been applied to the Il's Project brand which is one of the local footwear brands in the city of Denpasar. Using a qualitative approach, with a descriptive analysis of this study collecting data through interviews, observations and documentation which is further analyzed by SWOT analysis techniques comparing internal and external factors to determine the SWOT Matrix and IE Matrix for strategy determination. The results showed, Il's Project social media marketing was in quadrant 1 in the SWOT Matrix, and cell 5 in the IE Matrix. The right strategy is to support an aggressive strategy and growth strategy, namely, market penetration, increased sales and profits and increased marketing effectiveness on social media.

In 21st century, where the use of social media is growing day by day. Individuals prefer social media for personal and professional use. Corporations are also communicating with their customers through the social media. Which increase awareness about the product of a specific brand. That ultimately develops brand knowledge. The basic objective of this study is to explore the relationship between the social media brand communication and brand knowledge by considering brand image and brand awareness as mediators. This study is quantitative in nature so for the purpose of data collection we adopted questionnaire method. 200 questionnaires were distributed among the students of thebusinessdepartment. Data was tested through SPSS (Statistical Packages for the Social Science) as well as AMOS (Analysis Movement of Structure) Software. Findings of this research show there is apositive and significant relationship among social media brand communication and brand knowledge. Moreover, brand image and brand awareness have extensively mediated the relationship between social media brand communication and brand knowledge.

Social media marketing is one of the best tools used by different companies to reach targeted customers. The main objective of the research was to assess social media marketing strategies in Air Arabia airlines and its productivity in interacting with potential and loyal clients. The study objectives include: to determine the social media marketing strategy used by Air Arabia and to assess the effectiveness of social media marketing strategic plans for current and future clients. The study adopted a qualitative approach. In order to attain the target, content analysis was used as the data collection method, which was taken from the social media channels reports provided by air Arabia social media executives. The data were thematically analyzed to gain a better understanding of the data collected. The study findings indicated that the company’s social media strategy is based on posting regular content that is mainly videos and photographs, with increased interaction on photos. The company’s Facebook account has the highest number of subscribers. The main reason for using social media marketing was to tap the new technology in their business, thus drawing in a pool of customers online. The study concluded that Air Arabia gained a competitive advantage over other airlines due to its strategic use of social media. Air Arabia’s main strategic plan for communicating with its customers was to build loyalty, thus increasing its competitive ability in the traveling industry. The main recommendation from the research is for Air Arabia to create its brand to the target market and listen actively to their clients online to expand its customer base. Overall, the social media strategy of Air Arabia is effective in achieving its goal.

Social media has became one of the marketing strategies by most of the companies to deliver their brands, products and services to customer. Apart from the advantages of the use of social media for companies, it is becoming difficult for companies to raise awareness for their brand beause of the competition. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of social media on brand awareness of Amaris Hotel. The results of this research obtained from questionnaires that had been distributed to the respondents in Jakarta and processed with correlation method. The results shows that social media gives quite big and positive impact on building and estabilishing brand awareness of AYANA Amaris Hotel for 41,5%, and Instagram gives the biggest impact on brand awareness of Amaris Hotel. The level of brand awareness of Amaris Hotel has reached the highest level, Top of Mind level. Keywords: Social Media, Brand Awareness, Marketing, Amaris Hotel

Digitalization in the modern era has provided opportunities for the youths to participate in this information and social spheres. The concentrated use of social media has contributed to the astonishing factor among the voters where social media has changed the preferences of youths toward the right to vote. The research aims to investigate the contributions and preferences of youths toward political participation in the contemporary discussion in Indonesia. This research was quantitative research using a purposive random sampling technique to give equal opportunity to each respondent. The mode of data collection was an online survey. The majority of the respondents in this research were the student of the universities. Data were collected in April 2019 to examine the interest of youths in general elections in Indonesia. This research found that social media and Social Networking Sites (SNSs) have provided a unique platform to discuss political matters and ‘take apart’ in political discussions. Existing in-depth researches on this phenomenon show that political awareness among youths in Indonesia is an essential part and social media is the leading indicator. This research suggested some recommendations for to usage of social media for the socialization of youths.

This research examines social media users’ value-creation processes and the drivers of a start-up company’s successful social media strategy. This research primarily aims to understand start-ups’ effective utilization of social media and value co-creation processes. Although utilizing social media has become key for many organizations, start-ups and small businesses often suffer from a lack of understanding and knowledge of the utilization of social media tools. Therefore, this article uses a case study on the relationship between a social media platform and users’ value co-creation to offer a conceptual framework for start-ups to consider in utilizing social media. Our research reveals that four core drivers of social media success include experience, satisfaction, expression, and sharing ability. Each of these drivers in turn contains conditions for understanding users’ value-creation process and the creation of drivers for successful social media strategies. The research contributes to literature by providing a detailed review of users’ value co-creation as a part of a start-up’s successful social media strategy.

This MRP analyzes the use of social media in selling high-end cosmetics. As social media continues to evolve, luxury cosmetics companies like Nudestix are using social media platforms like YouTube to create brand awareness. This paper uses a textual and visual content analysis of six YouTube videos to analyze how how-to and instructional videos may be used to market and promote lesser known, indie cosmetics brands. Research on marketing, in addition to other research articles, is used to explain the importance of brand stores, seed and word of mouth marketing campaigns. This research study uses qualitative data collected from the YouTube video sample to provide insights for indie cosmetics brands looking to grow their indie cosmetics brand using beauty influencers and how vlogs can create brand recognition.

The increase in product market share cannot be separated from the connectivity of the marketing system and media used. Marketing channels play an important role in increasing sales both in the short and long term. This study aimed to determine the role of social media in increasing the market share of MSME products in Pematangsiantar City. The research design used a literature study and field study models using a qualitative approach with a one-shot model. The research location was in 8 districts in Pematangsiantar City. The population in this study were MSME players scattered in 8 districts in Pematangsiantar City. The samples were collected using a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling technique, so that a total sample size of 240 respondents were obtained. Moreover, the data analysis technique used in this study was data analysis with a data reduction model that was obtained from data collection and data display. The results of this study concluded that the use of social media was very dominant in MSME players in the micro sector and Instagram was one type of social media that was often used. Furthermore, the results of the study also suggested that the time factor was the basis for MSME players using social media as a medium for promoting their products.

The profiling method applied in the study facilitated evaluating the model of the selected organization. It is an efficient technique for exploring data. Graphic objects show the individual characteristics of selected organizations. Graphical visualization makes it easy to gauge the trajectory, the direction of your company's social media strategy, and helps to make a decision to change it. Further analysis of the structure of these models may facilitate the discovery of relevant relationships between the analyzed variables.
