<p>In this paper, we propose a novel stochastic SEIQ model of a disease with the general incidence rate and temporary immunity. We first investigate the existence and uniqueness of a global positive solution for the model by constructing a suitable Lyapunov function. Then, we discuss the extinction of the SEIQ epidemic model. Furthermore, a stationary distribution for the model is obtained and the ergodic holds by using the method of Khasminskii. Finally, the theoretical results are verified by some numerical simulations. The simulation results show that the noise intensity has a strong influence on the epidemic spreading.</p>

In this paper, we consider a stochastic SIQR epidemic model with saturated incidence rate. By constructing a proper Lyapunov function, we obtain the existence and uniqueness of positive solution for this SIQR model. Furthermore, we study the dynamical properties of this stochastic SIQR model; that is, (i) we establish the sufficient condition for the existence of ergodic stationary distribution of the model; (ii) we obtain the extinction of the disease under some conditions. At last, numerical simulations are introduced to illustrate our theoretical results.

Abstract In this paper, a stochastic SIRD model of Ebola with double saturated incidence rates and vaccination is considered. Firstly, the existence and uniqueness of a global positive solution are obtained. Secondly, by constructing suitable Lyapunov functions and using Khasminskii’s theory, we show that the stochastic model has a unique stationary distribution. Moreover, the extinction of the disease is also analyzed. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to portray the analytical results.

This paper considers a stochastic delay Gilpin-Ayala model with Markovian switching. Using Lyapunov method, we show existence and uniqueness of global positive solution. Then, by using Chebyshev’s inequality, M-matrix method, and BDG’s inequality, stochastic permanence and asymptotic estimations of solutions are studied. Finally, numerical simulations illustrate the theoretical results. Our results generalize and improve the existing results.

<p style='text-indent:20px;'>This paper focuses on the spread dynamics of an HIV/AIDS model with multiple stages of infection and treatment, which is disturbed by both white noise and telegraph noise. Switching between different environmental states is governed by Markov chain. Firstly, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the global positive solution. Then we investigate the existence of a unique ergodic stationary distribution by constructing suitable Lyapunov functions with regime switching. Furthermore, sufficient conditions for extinction of the disease are derived. The conditions presented for the existence of stationary distribution improve and generalize the previous results. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate our theoretical results.</p>

In this paper, by introducing environmental perturbation, we extend an epidemic model with graded cure, relapse, and nonlinear incidence rate from a deterministic framework to a stochastic differential one. The existence and uniqueness of positive solution for the stochastic system is verified. Using the Lyapunov function method, we estimate the distance between stochastic solutions and the corresponding deterministic system in the time mean sense. Under some acceptable conditions, the solution of the stochastic system oscillates in the vicinity of the disease-free equilibrium if the basic reproductive number R0≤1, while the random solution oscillates near the endemic equilibrium, and the system has a unique stationary distribution if R0>1. Moreover, numerical simulation is conducted to support our theoretical results.

In this paper, we study the dynamic properties of an SIRI epidemic model incorporating media coverage, and stochastically perturbed by a Lévy noise. We establish the existence of a unique global positive solution. We investigate the dynamic properties of the solution around both disease-free and endemic equilibria points of the deterministic model depending on the basic reproduction number under some noise excitation. Furthermore, we present some numerical simulations to support the theoretical results.

This paper is concerned with the dynamic characteristics of the SIQR model with media coverage and regime switching. Firstly, the existence of the unique positive solution of the proposed system is investigated. Secondly, by constructing a suitable random Lyapunov function, some sufficient conditions for the existence of a stationary distribution is obtained. Meanwhile, the conditions for extinction is also given. Finally, some numerical simulation examples are carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of theoretical results.

In this paper, we analyze a stochastic rabies epidemic model which is perturbed by both white noise and telegraph noise. First, we prove the existence of the unique global positive solution. Second, by constructing an appropriate Lyapunov function, we establish a sufficient condition for the existence of a unique ergodic stationary distribution of the positive solutions to the model. Then we establish sufficient conditions for the extinction of diseases. Finally, numerical simulations are introduced to illustrate our theoretical results.

In this paper, a stochastic SIRC epidemic model for Influenza A is proposed and investigated. First, we prove that the system exists a unique global positive solution. Second, the extinction of the disease is explored and the sufficient conditions for extinction of the disease are derived. And then the existence of a unique ergodic stationary distribution of the positive solutions for the system is discussed by constructing stochastic Lyapunov function. Furthermore, numerical simulations are employed to illustrate the theoretical results. Finally, we give some further discussions about the system.

We investigate a stochastic SI epidemic model in the complex networks. We show that this model has a unique global positive solution. Then we consider the asymptotic behavior of the model around the disease-free equilibrium and show that the solution will oscillate around the disease-free equilibrium of deterministic system whenR0≤1. Furthermore, we derive that the disease will be persistent whenR0>1. Finally, a series of numerical simulations are presented to illustrate our mathematical findings. A new result is given such that, whenR0≤1, with the increase of noise intensity the solution of stochastic system converging to the disease-free equilibrium is faster than that of the deterministic system.
