ABSTRACT Cody App Academy is a technology-based course place in Bintaro, South Jakarta. Based on observations made by the author, Cody is still applying the manual way to turn on and turn off the electricity. In addition, the results of interviews by Cody's managers, it can be concluded that this impacts on the efficiency of the use of electric current in Cody, which is directly related to the large or small bill of electricity that must be paid by the manager of Cody. So the author proposed a solution in the form of prototype Space Control System with motion technology based mobile web which is an application that can change the manual system into a home automation system. This application will automatically turn off the power when the room is empty, judging from the detection of movement in the span of more than 10 minutes. Data collection methods that the author uses is the collection of primary and secondary data consisting of observations, interviews and studies of similar literature. The method of application development is an evolutionary prototype with 4 stages that includes user needs analysis, making a prototype. The result of this research is the implementation of home automation in the form of Room Control System with motion technology for 2 months based on mobile web proved to cause the use of electricity in Cody more efficient based on the ratio of electric bill before and after using the system that the author proposed. This can be seen from the significant change in the cost of electricity that Cody has to pay per month which is 20% more efficient than without using the proposed system. How To Cite : Bahari, A.M. Internet of things is the present technology that permits us to control hardware via the internet. Using IOT system, we can link the physical devices and possess the ability to send or transfer data over a network with either human-to-human or human-to-system interaction. This paper explains how to control home appliances using Internet of Things. The microcontroller we are using for this project is Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi is interfaced with Wi-Fi modem for transmitting and receiving commands over the internet. To switch loads, we are using relays. Once the user passes instructions over the internet to switch on the appliance, the raspberry pi processes these commands and operates accordingly. Liquid Crystal Display is used to display the status of the system. Hence, IOT based home automation setup allows us to control home appliances over the internet.

Smart Mirror for Home Automation This research describes the design, construction and working of the smart mirror. Every morning our day begins by watching ourselves at least once in mirror before leaving our homes. We interact with it psychologically to find out how we look and how our attire is. Smart Mirror or Magic Mirror is one of the applications of Raspberry Pi. A computer screen embedded in mirror looks very futuristic. The Raspberry Pi stays at back scenes and controls the data displayed on mirror. While looking at mirror, the user can look at various notifications from social sites as well news, weather forecast and more things. Such mirrors can be programmed to work as control home appliances by voice input. The Raspberry Pi is connected to monitor via HDMI as well as it also has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth interfaces so we can just swipe music and videos to mirror.
