Educational scholars are implementing technologies into the educational process. They use virtual reality, simulations, augmented reality and other immersive technologies that provide entertainment and an interesting, immersive environment as well as engage and motivate students. The aim of this research is to understand the scope and the nature of studies where serious games for medical education are prospective research subjects for the development of learning motivation. There are specific research questions that are of interest to the authors: (1) how many studies are devoted to exploring how serious games and simulations develop learning motivation; (2) how many studies are devoted to medical education, especially continuing professional education; and (3) which professional fields are most reflected in the search results, and is interdisciplinary learning observed? To answer the research questions, a systematic analysis of publications was chosen as the research method. Altogether, 132 articles published from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2018 were selected for the review.

The purpose of the study the attitude of nurses to the existing system of advanced training and determine ways to optimize it. Results. An analysis of the opinions of nursing staff on improving the system of additional vocational education in accordance with personal needs showed that most of the students of advanced training courses expressed a desire to be present in the training process of practical health care professionals from large medical organizations using modern and innovative teaching methods; introduction of distance learning into the educational process of nursing staff with a flexible schedule and an individual student's plan; the use of modern and innovative technologies, methods and forms of professional and educational activities, formed taking into account the opinions of the students themselves; maintaining a high professional level of the teacher, the main qualities of which are the ability to motivate to study, maintain interest in the classroom and create a favorable psychological attitude. Conclusion. In improving the quality of medical care for patients, specialists with secondary medical education, in the development of new innovative technologies, additional professional education is a key resource, which goes along with the specialist throughout his entire professional activity and is able to adapt them to new professional requirements.

A good professional education is a prerequisite for successful functioning of the state system of labour resources management. For improving the educational process efficiency, a comprehensive study of motivation for learning is necessary. The article presents the results of the Russian-Latvian research project on the learning motivation of university students. The aim is to analyse and compare the learn-ing motivation of students of the first and last courses of the universities of Riga and Smolensk, and to examine the correlation between motivation and the psychological atmosphere in the student group. The data were obtained by the survey in which 230 students of the EKA University of Applied Sciences (Riga, Latvia) and Smolensk State University (Russia) took part. The leading groups of learning motives are identified, and the correlations between them and certain aspects of the psychological atmosphere in the students’ group are found out. The ways of increasing students’ motivation are proposed.

Medical education and training of a future doctor or a medical officer are strongly influenced by changes taking place in society. The reform process aimed at forming new approaches to teaching methods, monitoring, evaluation of educational activities and the development of corrective actions. Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Professional Education (FSES of HPE) requires the implementation of competence-based approach in the training of future health service expert that requires regular monitoring of the learning process. In higher medical education monitoring of the learning process has a significant role. Monitoring of the education quality includes the complexity of actions: organization, data collection, processing and information on results of the activities in the educational process to ensure continuous monitoring of the condition and forecasting its development. The analysis results of the satisfaction with the quality of the educational process of the department of psychology and pedagogy within the quality management system in medical university are presented, the concept of "quality", "satisfaction with the quality", "customer satisfaction", "pedagogical monitoring" is revealed, psychological and pedagogical conditions of educational activities affecting the education quality are described.

It is substantiated that one of the effective ways to improve the quality of education is interdisciplinary integration. The interdisciplinary approach based on the new educational standards presupposes, first of all, the ability of the medical education seeker to solve problems and take responsibility; act in an unstable context; motivation of students to study a certain discipline, thorough understanding and comparison; application of the acquired knowledge in practice; broadening the horizons, increasing the independence and creativity of future medical professionals; integration of the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities into one whole and perception of the material mastered during all training as inseparable unity. Methodological aspects of training a future medical specialist in the system of higher professional education in the conditions of interdisciplinary integration are considered. The main directions of improving the professional training of medical students on the basis of integration of different approaches are identified. The importance of applying interdisciplinary integration in the training of future medical professionals on the example of a combination of clinical, bioethical and legal knowledge is substantiated. The issue of application of interdisciplinary integration in the training of medical students is covered. The factors of optimization of the process of training future medical specialists on the basis of interdisciplinary connections are considered. It is shown that the application of interdisciplinary integrative technologies provides grounds for the formation and development of future medical professionals in the field of analytical and critical thinking, which is the key to improving the quality of medical education. It is proved that the professional training of future specialists in the medical field is in dynamic development, which is due to the priority of improving the quality of medical education. It was found that the effectiveness of the integration approach in the training of future medical professionals, in order to improve the quality of their education, requires improvement of the methodological concept in the development of educational and methodological complex of professional training on the basis of interdisciplinary integration. This can be ensured by taking into account the following factors: social demands for professional activity; the specifics of training at clinical departments and the peculiarities of mastering non-core disciplines; providing scientific, informational and methodological support of the educational process; formation and development of future medical professionals of analytical and critical types of thinking. The proposed will ensure high-quality readiness of future medical professionals for their professional activities.

This paper discusses the innovative changes in podiatric medical education found in today's schools and colleges of podiatric medicine, including changes in philosophy, resources and technology, curriculum, delivery methods, the role of faculty, and assessment tools, and the changing expectations of the students themselves. There is an emphasis on the shift from a teacher-centered approach to professional education to a student-centered approach. Technological advances have had a tremendous impact on the educational process and have opened doors to many new forms of educational delivery that better meet the needs of today's students. We believe that the podiatric medical education of today is the equivalent of allopathic and osteopathic education in quality and depth. The future holds the promise of many more exciting changes to come.

Background: Grit is one of the noncognitive predictors that must be owned by medical professional education students in taking professional education. Grit consists of consistency of interest and perseverance of efforts to deal with various conditions that will be encountered in pursuing the educational process. The purpose of this study was to determine how the level of grit in medical internship students in Indonesia. Methods: This research method used online survey research methods. The procedure for filling out the questionnaire is distributed online and the respondent voluntarily completes the questionnaire with the criteria of the respondent namely active professional medical education students who have completed the profession for at least one year. The survey was responded by 708 medical professional education students from 21 universities that organize medical professional education in Indonesia. Results: The results of grit categorization for medical professional education students were based on five categories: 2 respondents had very low grit levels and 52 respondents with low grit categories. Meanwhile, 238 respondents had moderate grit levels, 314 respondents were in the high category, and 102 respondents were in the very high category. In addition, there is no difference between the average grit scores of medical professional education students who have passed the study period of one, two, or three years. Conclusion: There are variations in grit levels obtained from the results of this study. Grit is a strong predictor for work performance and also academic performance. Individuals with a high degree of grit will be more diligent at work, do not easily give up if they fail, and can even make failure as motivation to strive and be more active in achieving goals. Apart from assessing the cognitive abilities of medical students, it is hoped that the assessment of non-cognitive factors in the form of grit measurement at the beginning of selection and during the medical education process can be carried out both at the pre-clinical stage and at the clinical stage. This aims to determine the level of business persistence and consistency of student interest in the medical field.

Статтю присвячено проблемам професійного навчання соціальних працівників, зокрема розглянуто психолого-педагогічні аспекти процесу підготовки висококваліфікованих фахівців. Зазначено що в професійній психології та педагогіці набуває поширення компетентнісний підхід до сучасної освіти. Акцентовано увагу на особистісно-орієнтованому та психолого-акмеологічному напрямках професійної освіти та навчання. Особистісні якості фахівця розглядаються як метапрофесійні компетенції, що забезпечують якість праці майбутнього соціального працівника. На основі аналізу специфіки підготовки фахівців соціономічних професій окреслено загальні напрями формування професійних компетенцій соціальних працівників: пріоритет професійно-особистісного розвитку для досягнення високого рівня професіоналізму фахівця; формування психологічної, особистісної та рефлексивної компетентності; практична зорієнтованість процесу навчання. Розглянуто методи та технології активного формування психологічної та особистісної компетентності фахівця в процесі професійного навчання, а саме методика контекстного (знаково-контекстного) навчання та психолого-акмеологічні методи та процедури професійного розвитку. Стверджується, що включення до навчального процесу інноваційних, заснованих на взаємодії педагога та учня, психолого-педагогічних технологій активного навчання має формувати особистісні зони розвитку майбутніх фахівців, удосконалювати способи та засоби професійного становлення, що значно підвищує якість професійного навчання соціальних працівників. The article deals with the problems of vocational training of social workers. They are particularly considered with psychological and pedagogical aspects of training highly qualified specialists. It specifies that competence-based approach to modern education gets spreading in the professional psychology and pedagogy. The article is accented on personality-oriented and psycho-akmeological directions existing in the psychology of professional education and training. Personal qualities of the professional are considered as metaprofessional competences which ensure the future social worker’s quality of work. The general directions of formation professional competence of social workers are identified on the base of the analyses of the specific professional training socionomic professions: priority of vocational and personality development for achievement a high level of professionalism; formation of the psychological, personal and reflective competence; practical orientation of the learning process. The methods and technologies of active formation of psychological and personality’s competence of the specialist during the vocational training are reviewed in the article, specifically the method and technique of signed-contextual learning and psycho-akmeological methods and procedures of professional development. It is alleged that the inclusion in the educational process of preparation innovational, psychological and pedagogical techniques of active learning, based on the interaction between the teacher and the student, should generated personal’s development zones of the future professionals, refine the methods and means of the professional development that significantly improves the quality of social worker’s professional training.

Turning to the new educational paradigm, the research paper considers the conditions for ensuring the effective-ness of authentic assessment of students ' achievements within the competence approach and the transition from traditional knowledge control to tests developed on the basis of the theory of pedagogical measurements. Special attention is paid to independent assessment as a tool for stimulating learning activities, as well as to the justifica-tion of the pattern design method used in the develop-ment of measurement tools. The experimental basis of the study is based on the results of an independent assess-ment of educational achievements of students of the sen-ior level of secondary vocational education in social studies in several educational organizations. As a result of the survey of participants in independent testing, the formation of a stable positive learning motivation is not-ed. The relationship with the assessment of the impact on educational motivation is confirmed by the respondents ' attitude to the authentic assessment procedure on the part of participants in the assessment process: school-children, teachers, and parents. As a result, it was re-vealed that all subjects of the educational process evalu-ate the impact of the proposed method of assessment on educational motivation from a positive side.
