The distance education structure is preferred by many learners in the world. With the COVID-19 pandemic, distance education has become an even more important trend all over the world and in Turkey. With the spread of e-learning and distance education applications, educational content and management of applications in electronic environment has become increasingly important. There are many different applications where activities can be managed together or separately in educational processes. In this study, the concepts of content management system (CMS), learning management system (LMS), and learning content management system (LCMS) are examined, and different aspects of each term are explained. It will contribute to the national literature. This chapter will examine the latest approaches in the use of learning management systems and virtual classroom software before pandemic, during pandemic, and after the pandemic.

Constraints on our personal and professional life imposed by the COVID 19 pandemic have radically influenced our approach to forms of education, including those used in further professional training of employees. This shift means the focus on distance education as a managed educational form, which is suitable for further professional training. The aim of the paper is to present the implementation of distance education in further professional training in enterprises and based on the empirical research propose ways of improving options of education. Distance education is characterised in terms of its principles and developmental stages. Its first generation was correspondence education. The Learning Management System (LMS) and Learning Content Management System (LCMS) are described as the systems applied in further professional training. The research was conducted by means of the questionnaire method, combined with the pre-research survey. Results of empirical research are presented in tables. Separate parts of the paper deal with ICT application in corporate education (correspondence education, Computer-based training (CBT), Web-based training (WBT), Technology Based Training (TBT) and with the utilisation of Learning Management Systems (LMS). Analysis of respondent opinions shows that respondents tend to prefer the face-to-face form of corporate education. The length of the pandemic is going to affect the spread of e-learning in corporate education and its role in education. The learners’ interest may be expected to be shifted to LCM and LCMS utilisation. The paper is a partial result of the research scheme VEGA No. 1/0309/18 “Social networks in human resource management” supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Research and Sports, Slovakia

A Learning Management System (LMS) is a software application for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting, and delivery of e-learning education courses or training programs. The traditional distance education for mathematics has heavily relied on the application of LMS. However, the Standards for Mathematical Practice have provided the requirements to mathematics educators at all levels for the students' development. This chapter presents the introduction of the transformation from LMS to Internet-based research in the mathematical education. This is the viewpoint of the patterns, developments, changes, or phenomena within their respective fields with regards to distance education of mathematics. It also creates a broad, multidisciplinary understanding of online education across educational boundaries and demonstrates the unique future trajectories that online education has within these mathematics.

They need new breakthroughs and methods to improve the quality of physics learning, especially those related to the development of teaching media. Therefore CMS (Content Management System) web exe and Arduino-based training needs analysis are conducted for Purworejo Regency physics teachers. This effort are tested by research descriptions are by giving questionnaires to respondents. The results showed that Purworejo district physics teachers needed continuous and periodic training with guided monitoring and needed training related to the latest IT-based teaching media such as e learning and microcontroller-based teaching media such as Arduino.

The purpose of this paper is to find a comparison between the use of QuestGarden learning content management system and Edmodo learning management system in learning particularly for the teaching of history. Characteristics of history filled with facts mastery often make teacher forget the real purpose of history learning. The abundance of facts characteristics brought up in history teaching, so it often put history learning as facts mastery learning through rote learning activity. This writing attempt to lift other approach in history learning namely online based learning that was identified can improve the ability to think. The results show QuestGarden (LCMS) or Edmodo (LMS) can be implemented in the history teaching learning, though both have different characters and use. Teachers need to understand them so that they can implement it in a synergic position.
