The manufacturing environment for apparel is subject to a variety of constraints, stochasticity, and unforeseen events. In order to create an accurate scheduling-system for this environment, these complexities must be considered. This article presents the development and the application of a scheduling and rescheduling decision support system for an apparel manufacturer. Furthermore, the results of applying the proposed system are presented and discussed. The scheduling and rescheduling decision support system presented in this article takes advantage of a variable neighborhood search and Monte Carlo simulation in order to minimize tardiness in the presence of different release times, sequence-based setup times, blocking, and resource constraints. The results show that the quality of the schedules generated by the proposed scheduling and rescheduling decision support system is superior to the current firm’s scheduling practice, which is based on an earliest due date heuristic. Moreover, the percentage of the realized schedule and overall equipment effectiveness were improved.

One effort in the development of information technology today requires fast and accurate information in its implementation. in the assessment of the work ability of well-performing and poor employees with the support of a decision support system it produces one of the implementations of the development of information technology in improving the quality of the company's work. where the decision making process determines employee demotion is still done manually. still there are often a number of errors such as misdirection. Therefore, to make an assessment in making a decision to choose a decent demotion employee based on the assessment carried out in the field. Then the decision support system that will be built with a computerized system so that decision making is done quickly and accurately. For this decision support system, use the Profile Matching method or matching the demotion of employee demos with the profile of the employee assessed with the specified Criteria. Making an application program must be made carefully, so that it looks easy to understand and proven useful and useful for users. the system built can help PT. Nafasindo in determining the demotion of employees who are decent and can reduce errors in determining the demotion of employees

Decision support system for selecting color guard with VIKOR and Borda methods. It has been made as a tool to select color guard at the Sei Rampah High School. The criteria used in the decision support system for color guard selection are: height, weight, agility, stamina, and body language. Color guard selection activities are a routine activity every year, so GINADA marching band coach Sei Rampah hereby selects to select permanent members in the marching band. Decision Support System in an organization can be seen as important in supporting the smooth running of activities and achieving an organizational goal. SPK can come in various forms, ranging from simple forms of data processing to complex application forms, and can also be used to accelerate and improve the quality of the decision-making process in the organization.

IntroductionE-health offers the opportunity of supporting the management of several diseases, but most of these tools are far from being based on scientific evidence and demonstrating their effectiveness and efficacy. The PSICODEM Project aims to develop a mobile personalized clinical decision support system (CDSS) based on evidence for contributing to e-health interventions addressed to the management of dementia that require not only a pharmacological approach but also psychosocial interventions for improving patients’ quality of life and reducing emotional, cognitive and behavioral symptoms. The present communication focuses on the identification of the evidence on which the CDSS algorithm will be developed.MethodsThree systematic reviews were carried out in order to identify the existing scientific evidence published in relation to the effectiveness of behavioral, emotional and cognitive therapies addressing dementia (January 2009 to December 2017). The main databases were consulted (PubMed, Cochrane Library, PsychoInfo) and only randomized control trials (RCT) were considered. Articles were reviewed by two independent reviewers. The quality of the selected publications was assessed according to the SIGN criteria.ResultsForty-seven RCTs were selected for cognitive therapies, thirty-two for emotional ones and fifteen for behavioral interventions. Those therapies with more support of evidence were skills training for cognitive therapies and reminiscence interventions for emotional interventions; however, in behavioral interventions a variety of therapeutically approaches were found. Wide differences were found between studies in terms of types and levels of dementia, forms of intervention (number, length and frequency of sessions) and outcome measures.ConclusionsIn-depth analysis of evidence will allow the identification of those interventions more appropriate for each patient according to their symptoms and level of dementia. According to this evidence, the mobile CDSS algorithm will be developed. Additionally, these findings point out the gaps in psychosocial intervention research.

Staff performance appraisal is an appraisal process undertaken to find qualified and dedicated staff. Managers have problems to be able to evaluate staff performance at an event entitled "Change Agent" and the best staff is named "Best Agent". Due to the manual appraisal system by filling in the value form then adding up and obtaining the average. Decision Support System Approval Selection of "Best Agent" Profile Matching method is an application designed to provide an accurate decision alternative based on current and accountable data, it is expected to improve the quality of staff performance and the expectation of the magnitude is the establishment improvement in good performance so as to improve the quality of human resources and bring the institution's good name to both the scope of the Department and more broadly. Tuberculosis (TB) disease intervention is a national program and being a target of MDGs. Therefore, a government determined minimum service standards of a hospital that had to be implemented in all health service units and hospitals in Indonesia. A strategy of DOTS at Aisyiyah Hospital in Muntilan had been available particularly in terms of case finding. Notwithstanding, a process of patient diagnosis had not been implemented in accordance with a standard of human resource. Number of medical officers at a TB DOTS unit was not sufficient. In addition, quality of information like completeness, accurateness in diagnosis, and timeliness in reporting TB cases had not achieved a target. The aim of this study was to develop decision support system of TB as an effort to systematically diagnose and manage data of TB based on the standard. This was qualitative-quantitative research. A qualitative method was used to identify each step of information system development. Meanwhile, a quantitative method was used to assess quality of information between before and after developing information system using pre-experimental design (the one group pre and posttest design). Qualitative data were collected by conducting indepth interview, whereas quantitative data were collected using checklist. Data were analysed using T test. Research object was decision support system before and after applying at TB unit at Aisyiyah Hospital in Muntilan. Research subjects consisted of four TB officers as main informants. Informants for triangulation purpose consisted of head of SIMRS and head of medical services. The results of T test showed that variables of completeness, accurateness, and preciseness after developing the decision support system were better than that of before developing the system (p-value = 0.000). As suggestions, head of SIMRS needs to conduct further development of decision support system of TB in another unit particularly in inpatient unit. The decision support system needs to be evaluated and adjusted with the standard.
