This design is a short-range wireless transmission module based on nRF2401, which carries out the data acquisition, short-range wireless transmission, the data display and the port communications between computer and MCU via RS232 serial port. The sensor node circuit based on nRF2401 module was implemented in the paper. The main communication flow chart is described in detail.

The terminal uses data acquisition module to collect antenna parameters of the base station, data is processed by S3C2440 core module and transmitted to management system by wireless communication module. This introduces hardware and software design solution of the terminal. The intelligent terminal can measure coordinates, altitude, azimuth and tilt of base station.

Abstract In this paper, we introduce ViPSN-E: a transient-motion-powered IoT sensor node. It carries out motion detection and wireless communication by making good use of the energy harvested from an instantaneous motion. In our design, a piezo-magneto-elastic structure, which is composed of a low-cost piezoelectric cantilever and a pair of magnets, is used to induce a plucking excitation and power generation under a transient and one-way movement. An energy management circuit, which is composed of a self-powered synchronized switch harvesting on inductor (SP-SSHI) interface circuit and a voltage regulator is utilized for efficient energy conversion. Through the sophisticated collaboration between mechatronic design and computer program, the motion information can also be identified and sent out by a wireless communication module. The cyber-electromechanical synergy among mechanical dynamics, power conditioning circuit, and the low-power embedded system is emphasized towards the successful implementation of such a motion-powered IoT device. The prototyped ViPSN-E has done a good job by making good use of the energy associated with each transient plucking motion. With only one plucking excitation, the system can realize motion detection and several rounds of wire-less transmission. The study on ViPSN-E provides valuable guidance towards the self-powered ubiquitous motion-sensing systems.

To the convenience of passenger travel, a kind of electronic bus stop boards system is discussed in this paper, which can be considered as intelligent equipment based on wireless communication technology. The combination between short-range wireless and long-distance communication module, together with the microcontroller composes the electronic bus stop boards system. The electronic bus stop boards system indicates the number of stations away from passengers’ station board on different nearest buses, current time and real-time humiture. The test results showed that the system could realize short-range and long-distance communication function and display the necessary information. With the advantages of high reliability and efficiency at low cost, the electronic bus stop boards system has more practical popularized value to replace traditional intelligent station boards with GPS and GPRS by cheap wireless communication module.

This paper describes the creation of a system that acquires building energy sub-metering data. The system is designed in a way that allows it to use different sensors for different energy resources sub-metering. A wireless communication standard that allows to achieve the best combination of communication range, low power sub-metering and to give the system more flexibility is chosen. This paper shows how electrical energy sub-metering data is extracted by the sensor node from the current wire without any physical invasion and wirelessly passed to the concentrator. Non-standard error processing solutions and their application to the prototype, and issue-specific solutions related to energy transmission and processing using standard wired and wireless transmission protocols are analyzed. Transfusion monitoring and controlling system of wireless communication is designed for avoidance of medical accident due to inconsiderate care. This system is based on RS-485 bus protocol to build the communication network, consisting of master computer and slave computer. STM32F103R8T6 MCU is the core of the master computer, and MSP430F2132 MCU for slave computer. The wireless transmission of data between master computer and slave computer can be done by nRF905 wireless transceiver module. One new calculation of drop speed is used for better real-time displaying thereof. Provided that abnormal occurrence is during the transfusion, the transfusion tube will be closed by controlling order from system, in order to protect the patient.
