Two machining methods for non-circular isometric profile are introduced. The profile modeling technology and the numerical control technology are analyzed. The dynamic property of in a series profile modeling technology system is revealed, and the design principle for in a series profile modeling technology system is put forward, the value range of damping ratio is instanced at near 0.7. The turning machining system adopting linear servo motor as drive element is brought forward.

Open Computer Numerical Control system (Open CNC) based on PC and the Windows operating system has been a major developing direction and a research focus of the current numerical control technology. At present, there have been all kinds of the Open CNC systems with high-speed and precision servo control boards, but they are too expensive. Therefore, developing an economical and practical motion controller is great significant for middle and small numerical control system

SUMMARYUp to now, most people are still cooking in the kitchen, which makes them feel fatigued and also makes the air polluted. With the development of the numerical control technology, it becomes more and more urgent to apply the related technology to the automatic cooking field. In this paper, the cooking technique for the Chinese dishes is introduced and China's first cooking robot, named AI Cooking Robot (AIC), is presented. The robot mainly consists of four parts: the wok mechanism, the stirring-fry and dispersing mechanism, the feeding mechanism, and the mechanism of leaving the material in the middle process. In order to adjust the temperature, the fire control system is also given in this paper. Experiments show that the new robot will be a milestone in the cooking automation science because of its cooking technique.

The substations are important parts of modern electrical grids. In this sense, it is necessary to enhance the management efficiency and robustness of the substations. The one-key sequence control technology system could simultaneously control several subsystems and make use of their functions to automatically operate the substations. In this study, three subsystems, i.e., monitoring subsystems, error analysis subsystem, and decision support subsystem are designed in the one-key sequence control technology system. All the background information from the substations is monitored, checked, detected to find the potential threats. The decision support subsystem provides suggestive ways to handle these problems. Therefore, through the reasonable use of the one-key sequence control technology, the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the substations can be enhanced. With the development of artificial intelligence technologies, the one-key sequence control technology system can be further improved with more powerful functions.

To develop the numerical control program of mill-turn machine, the traditional method is to apply the computer-aided design and manufacture software to construct the geometric model, then to generate tool path and convert the path to NC program. For complex numerical control program of mill-turn machine, such as the multiple turret synchronized motion machining, because of the need to control time sequence, the NC program is highly required on using of dedicated software system. The objective of this paper is to establish a mill-turn machining system with window interface of via the language of Borland C++ Builder. The developed system can plan the machining path of simple mill-turn features, including turning shape, axial slot milling, and radial packet milling, and generate the corresponding NC program. For the milling functions, after the offset coordinates are calculated along the polygonal angle vector in the center point of cutters, the NC program is generated. For the turning functions, through importing the 2D DXF (Drawing Exchange Format) file and inputting related configurations, the entity coordinates can be retrieved and the corresponding NC program is then converted. By means of the solid cutting simulation software and practical cutting experiment for the generated numerical control program, the accuracy of the tool path generation algorithm is confirmed. Hence, the cost of purchasing commercial software can be saved and the time of generating program can also be decreased so that the working efficiency can be enhanced.

The chatter caused by the inner factors of the machining system in the ultrasonic honing process would seriously affect the surface quality of combustion engine. A dynamical model of ultrasonic honing chatter system was established, which involved with ultrasonic honing mechanism and dynamic honing depth, the relationship between the limit honing width and honing speed was deduced based on the theory of regenerative chatter; the simulation was carried out to obtain the effect of different parameters including stiffness coefficient, damping ratio, spindle speed and reciprocation motion speed on the stability limit curve of the chatter system. It can be concluded that the ultrasonic honing chatter system have better stability with low spindle speed, high stiffness and damping ratio, which providing foundation to eliminate ultrasonic honing system chatter in the precision machining of cylinder liner.

Tyre tread pattern mainly accounts for tyre performance and its endurance. In tyre mold processing, pattern block processing is technologically disturbing, of which the tread pattern is the most challenging. This article first analyses the function conversion of the points from point to plane to space along the tyre tread curve. Aided by GRIP language, it continues to make tread section with spatial curve, and then with the help of UG scanning order, it produces a three-dimensional diorama of accurate tyre pattern. To solve the problem of large errors arising in tyre mold processing with 3 axis numerical control technology, the article proposes a new method to produce tyre tread pattern with 3 axis technology and validates the method. The research contributes to dividing processing of tyre tread pattern, and reducing errors theoretically. Experiments had been done to illustrate that the method can achieve high quality and efficient processing.

In machining process, machining accuracy of part mainly depends on the position and orientation of the cutting tool with respect to the workpiece which is influenced by errors of machine tools and cutter-workpiece-fixture system. A systematic modeling method is presented to integrate the two types of error sources into the deviation of the cutting tool relative to the workpiece which determines the accuracy of the machining system. For the purpose of minimizing the machining error, an adjustment strategy of tool path is proposed on the basis of the generation principle of the cutter location source file (CLSF) in modern computer aided manufacturing (CAM) system by means of the prediction deviation, namely, the deviation of the cutting tool relative to the workpiece in computer numerical control (CNC) machining operation. The resulting errors are introduced as adjustment values to adjust the nominal tool path points from cutter location source file from commercial CAM system prior to machining. Finally, this paper demonstrates the effectiveness of the prediction model and the adjustment technique by two study cases.
