MicroRNAs are non-coding molecules that play a significant role in the development of the disease. MicroRNAs can act as biomarkers or independently lead to the development of a disease. Due to the large numbers of microRNAs, most of the current works focus on the creation of a new way of microRNA clustering or grouping. Today, there are a huge number of different databases that distribute open microRNAs into groups. The problem is that there is no way to evaluate such databases and created clusters. In this work, we propose a new method for assessing the distribution of microRNAs in a cluster, which in the future can be used to predict new sequential ones capable of causing disease. The proposed method can also be used for a better understanding of the mechanisms of various diseases. Since cardiovascular diseases rank first in terms of the number of deaths, they were chosen as the analyzed ones. The Human microRNA Disease Database was used as an analyzed database in this work. The obtained results show that the proposed method can analyze the created databases and can be used in further practice. The proposed model makes it possible to predict new microRNAs for given diagnoses.

This study titled 'Myth For Women Character Education Discourse of Minangkabau; Case Study of PadangPariaman '' is one of the studies that tried to reformulate the old wisdom and knowledge that is useful for the creation of models tolearning and character education of young generation in the future, especially women. In the formulation of this model, the authorsuse qualitative methods ethnometodology approach in the collection and analysis of data, with the hope of purity assessment ismaintained. The data can be by way of participation and interview. The processing and data analysis, deconstruction required readings. Deconstruction is not just unload but re-downloaddestructs. (evaluation) with the help of linguistics that speech acts (elaboration) and semiotics (significance). The way it works, thedata that has been collected will enter the stage of processing; grouping based on the research objectives; analyzed by speech acttheory; pared with the theory of semiotics; and to formulate a model of learning as a result of the evaluation.

Adolescents consistently compare themselves with others they see on social media. This habit can bring up in them a sense of envy or inferiority, which then can lead to a decrease in self-esteem. Therefore, it is necessary to have aspects that can increase their confidence and optimism, including in term of spirituality, their sense of gratitude. The purpose of this study was to see the role of gratitude as moderating variable in the influence of social comparison on the self-esteem of social media adolescent users. The research was conducted using social comparison scale of Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Scale (INCOM), gratitude scale, and self-esteem state scale, which were distributed to 200 social media adolescent users in DKI Jakarta, were involved through incidental sampling. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant role of gratitude in influencing social comparison to change these participants’ self-esteem. The sense of gratitude served to increase these adolescents’ self-esteem, which previously decreased as a result of social comparison. This study had a number of weaknesses in the use of the instruments, especially the social comparison scale. Any similar study in the future is expected to focus more on one kind of social media.

This policy brief focuses on the opening of the Central Arctic Ocean and the subsequent questions this poses to regional governance. This change has the potential to radically alter the nature of Arctic governance as non-Arctic states will have to play a significant role in the rules that will apply in the Arctic high seas. Talks about a regional fisheries regime will define the future of this region. The creation of a coordinating agreement would have the benefit of not challenging Arctic states too fundamentally while at the same time incorporating non-Arctic states in a meaningful way in the regional governance infrastructure.

Real estate management and its operation play a crucial role in supporting company operation. Going hand-in-hand with the rapid growth of companies, the real estate portfolio has expanded dramatically, attracting large numbers of domestic and foreign investors. This paper studied the top 12 real estate companies listed on Vietnam’s stock market to develop a method that combines the Grey methodology and the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) Malmquist model, intending to predict and evaluate their performances in two periods: 2015–2018 and 2019–2022. The proposed model considered three input factors, namely total assets, cost of sales, and cost of goods sold, and two output factors, namely total revenue and gross profit. Findings revealed that drastic efficiency changes in some companies should be observed at the beginning of the process, even if the technological efficiency in the period is stable. In the future period, most companies achieved relatively stable productivity. This study serves as a reference for policymakers and strategy makers by analyzing insights for the operational status of real estate businesses and providing an overview in the future toward sustainable development.

The following is a research analysis paper on the Ontario basic income pilot and basic income projects more generally. This analysis will be conducted using a narrative lens. When policies are created or cancelled there is often a narrative that plays a significant role in validating the process. In this paper, the narratives that accompanied the creation and cancellation of Ontario’s basic income pilot— respectively referred to as the ‘creation’ and ‘cancellation narratives’—are unpacked. The creation narrative states that basic income projects will reduce poverty, while the cancellation narrative states that basic income projects unjustly redistribute wealth through raising taxes. These narratives are also present in other basic income pilots; two of these are also analyzed in this paper, namely Finland and Manitoba’s basic income pilots. The paper concludes with a recommendation for policymakers who are advancing basic income projects in the future. Policymakers should advance a metanarrative that bridges the creation and cancellation narratives. This metanarrative would frame basic income projects as reducing poverty without unjustly redistributing wealth. Such a narrative can be used to advance basic income projects that are more resilient than projects analysed in this paper.

From its introduction in 1943 and until the late 1970s, hemodialysis (HD) has been a lengthy and cumbersome treatment administered by a few skilled physicians and technicians to a very limited number of terminal kidney patients. The technological innovations introduced over the years made HD a treatment administered and supervised by nursing personnel to a very large numbers of kidney patients, hopefully until recovery of kidney functions or kidney transplantation. In 2013, it is estimated that 2.250.00 kidney patients were treated worldwide, and their number is steadily increasing. Shortage of transplant kidneys and quality of current treatments has contributed to increasing the survival of HD patients. Today, it is not unusual to find patients who have been on HD for longer than twenty years. All this generated the feeling that performance of membranes and dialysis technology has reached its limit. Recently, the increasing economic burden of healthcare caused by people ageing and the increasing incidence of degenerative diseases (e.g. diabetes and cardiovascular diseases), and the economic crisis has pushed many governments and health insurances to cut resources for healthcare. The main consequence is that investments in research and development in HD have been significantly reduced. The question is whether there is indeed no need for innovation in HD. In this paper, it is discussed how the paradigm of HD has changed and what possibly are now the drivers for innovation in HD. A few ideas are proposed that could be developed by adapting existing technologies to the future needs of HD.

Jurisdiction specialization is a topic of interest in the administration the justice system. Pros and cons have been vastly discussed, but few papers discuss the pratical details connected to the application of this policy. In this study, we discuss the creation of business courts in the County of São Paulo Brazil, and introduce innovating data analysis methodologies for solving pratical problems. In São Paulo, new courts, specialized or not, must follow two main criteria. New courts must have a minimum number of lawsuits per year and must have some estimate of the future worka load. In the performed analyses, we found evidence that a business lawsuit requires almost twice the amount of effort of a common lawsuit. By correcting the volume of lawsuits, based on a matter-treatment model, we arrived at the conclusion that two business courts can handle the existing demand adequately. Also, we were able to develop a robust methodology to verify if and how business courts should be created.

AbstractAfter a brief introduction to the prehistory of the Editio Critica Maior of the Institute for New Testament Textual Research in Münster, the edition itself is presented. First, the path from the collection of material to the creation of the critical apparatus of the edition is traced. Then the presentation of material in the printed Editio Critica Maior is introduced and it is shown how to use it. Since the New Testament tradition is characterized by contamination, which makes the application of the classical “Lachmannian” stemmatology impossible, a new method had to be developed for the penetration of the New Testament manuscript tradition, the so-called Coherence-Based Genealogical Method (CBGM), which is explained as short and simple as possible. Finally, the study introduces the digital Editio Critica Maior and its use and gives an outlook to the future of the Editio Critica Maior as an interactive digital edition of the Greek New Testament.

Investigations which require electron microscope examination of a few specific areas of non-homogeneous tissues make random sampling of small blocks an inefficient and unrewarding procedure. Therefore, several investigators have devised methods which allow obtaining sample blocks for electron microscopy from region of tissue previously identified by light microscopy of present here techniques which make possible: 1) sampling tissue for electron microscopy from selected areas previously identified by light microscopy of relatively large pieces of tissue; 2) dehydration and embedding large numbers of individually identified blocks while keeping each one separate; 3) a new method of maintaining specific orientation of blocks during embedding; 4) special light microscopic staining or fluorescent procedures and electron microscopy on immediately adjacent small areas of tissue.

AbstractAsoGumbalo in the creation of painting works was inspired from the life of the shepherd who became the inspiration of the creator which revealed through the medium of painting by taking the idea of "Hope of the Shepherd" (AsoGumbalo). Shepherd Hope can be interpreted as a strong desire, inclination and encouragement towards something that wants to be realized to make someone better in the future. The expression of copyrighted ideas departs from the phenomenon of AsoGumbalo, which the creator expressed with a symbolic expression into the creation of painting. This method of creating works through several stages, namely; 1) The exploration phase is the stage of searching for ideas by conducting emic and ethical research for the production of works, 2) the design phase that is the prototype-making stage which will be realized in the form of painting, 3) the process stage of the work done. The concept of creation of works is a symbolic expression by utilizing traditional idioms, these expressions are depicted in the realization of the work using media strategies and visual strategies by using the concept of form processing, namely deformation and transformation by combining several techniques, such as plaque, transparent, pseudo-texture and real texture. AsoGumbalo as an inspiration expressed in the form of paintings of symbolic expression. works created by artists are presented in the form of exhibitions. Keywords:asogumbalo, symbolic expression, painting.
