This developmental-descriptive research sought to design and developed a computer-based system, to be known as the Senior Citizens Information System, to provide real-time information dissemination among senior citizen members in the Municipality of Batad, Iloilo pertaining to their membership status and monetary assistance monitoring. The Rapid Application Development model was employed as the SDLC in the development of the system product. More so, the three-tier architecture was used as the architectural model. There were 120 senior citizens as user-respondents and five IT experts for evaluation. The system product was evaluated using a researchers-made survey instrument to determine if level of usability and performance. Results of the investigation shows that the system product was perceived as very good with its level of usability as well as its performance.

This paper introduces a novel concept on reading assistive technologies for the blind: the TactoBook, a system that is able to translate entire electronic books (eBooks) to Braille code and to reproduce them in portable electronic Braille terminals. The TactoBook consists of a computer-based translator that converts fast and automatically any eBook into Braille. The Braille version of the eBook is then encrypted as a file and stored in a USB memory drive which is later inserted and reproduced in a compact, lightweight, and highly-portable tactile terminal. In particular, this paper presents a piezoelectric ultrasonic actuation approach to design and implement such portable Braille terminal. Actuating mechanism, design concept, first prototype, and performance results are presented and discussed.

Rapid Application Development (RAD) is a methodology used to develop software. This method is able to reduce time to develop software. This becomes consideration in order to choose the Rapid Application Development as a methodology to develop Dutatani Website. Dutatani is a portal and a part of Integrated Agriculture Information System (IAIS). IAIS is an agriculture information system that has some subsystems that are connected and linked to each other. It also has an integrated database. In particular, Dutatani is able to manage user, manage content, and manage link in the IAIS. This website will be a link to other applications in the IAIS. This article especially discusses the development of the Dutatani Website using Rapid Application Development that is implemented by combining iterative development and system prototyping. There are some phases in the development using the RAD: planning, analysis, main design specific design, implementation and testing, and integrating prototype. This system was developed by a team which consists five members. The implementation of this prototyping technique was done by dividing five people into two groups in which each group had different responsibilities to different module/functions. This website had been developed within 150 days. Thus, in implementing the RAD, it is important for the team leader to monitor continuously. Monitoring is a useful technique to ensure the productivity and performance of each members in order to gain optimal development process.

This study aims to design a computer-based accounting information system for the preparation of financial statements using Microsoft Access 2010 on the small medium companythat provide network, cctv installation services and also trading computer components namely CV. Satria Computindo. This research used descriptive qualtitative. Methods of data collection is done by interview and documentation, and testing the validity of data used in the form of source triangulation, time triangulation, and membercheck. Accounting system used were selling, cash receiveing and cash disburshment and sallary and payroll accounting system. Design of computer-based accounting information systems to support the preparation of financial statements using Rapid Application Development (RAD) techniques that develop the system in a short period of time using prototyping. Applications used for system development is using Microsoft Access which includes table design, creation of relations between tables, query design, form design, and report design. This study is expected to reduce the occurrence of recording errors caused by human factors, accelerate the acquisition of financial information for the leadership and accelerate the real time acquisition of stock information. Abstrak-Sistem Informasi Geografis adalah merupakan suatu system informasi yang berbasis computer, dan dirancang untuk bekerja dengan menggunakan data yang memiliki informasi spasial (bereferensi keruangan). SIG menggunakan teknologi computer untuk mengintegrasikan, memanipulasi, dan menampilkan informasi atau karakteristik yang ada di suatu daerah geografi. Tindak kejahatan/kriminalitas bukan hanya tanggung jawab pihak kepolisian tetapi tanggung jawab semua lapisan masyarakat, sehingga dengan dipetakannya daerah rawan kriminalitas akan dapat diketahui dimana saja terjadi tindak kejahatan itu. Aplikasi yang akan dibuat adalah “APLIKASI PEMETAAN DAERAH RAWAN KRIMINALITAS DI MANADO BERBASIS WEB’. Crime / criminality is not only the responsibility of the police but the responsibility of all levels of society, so that with the mapping of crime-prone areas will be known where the crime occurred.The application that will be made is "APPLICATION OF WEB-BASED CRIMINAL AREA MAPPING IN MANADO WEB-BASED." Abstract. To this day, researchers are debating the adequacy of using financial incentives to bolster performance in work settings. Our goal was to contribute to current understanding by considering the moderating role of distributive justice in the relation between financial incentives, motivation, and performance. Based on self-determination theory, we hypothesized that when bonuses are fairly distributed, using financial incentives makes employees feel more competent and autonomous, which in turn fosters greater autonomous motivation and lower controlled motivation, and better work performance. Results from path analyses in three samples supported our hypotheses, suggesting that the effect of financial incentives is contextual, and that compensation plans using financial incentives and bonuses can be effective when properly managed.

SummaryModern information technology offers new opportunities for the storage and manipulation of hospital information. A computer-based hospital information system, dedicated to urology and nephrology, was designed and developed in our center. It involves in principle the employment of a program that allows the analysis of non-restricted, non-codified texts for the retrieval and processing of clinical data and its operation by non-computer-specialized hospital staff.This Hospital Information System now plays a vital role in the efficient provision of a good quality service and is used in daily routine and research work in this hospital. This paper describes this specialized Hospital Information System.

Abstract—The need for information system development in a company is a basic requirement that must be met by each company in order to run its business processes properly. This is the basic key in a company in order to provide maximum results to find as many profits or profits. Application development or requirements in the application also provide speed for employees to carry out their activities to work properly and optimally. The development of the era requires that companies must be productive and have innovations so that the business wheel of the company can run well.
