Cloud Computing is one of the upcoming Internet based technology. It is been considered as the next generation computing model for its advantages. It is the latest computational model after distributed computing, parallel processing and grid computing. To be effective they need to tap all available sources of supply, both internal and external. The system has facilities where prospective candidates can upload their CV’s and other academic achievements. Earlier recruitment was done manually and it was all at a time-consuming work. Now it is all possible in a fraction of second. Better recruitment and selection strategies result in improved organizational outcomes. With reference to this context, the research paper entitled Recruitment and Selection has been prepared to put a light on Recruitment and Selection process.

Geological data with phyletic and various, huge and complex data format, the analysis of geological data processing is mainly divided into three parts: Mines forecast, mine evaluation and mine positioning. Traditional geological data analysis model is limited by limited storage space and computational efficiency, and cannot meet the needs of a large number of geological data fast operations. "Big data technology" provides the ideal solution to the vast amounts of geological data management, information extraction, and comprehensive analysis. For mass storage capacity and high-speed computing power that the "big data technology" need, we built an intelligence systems applied to the analysis of geological data based on MapReduce and GPU double parallel processing cloud computing model. For a large number of geological data, using hadoop cluster system to solve the problem of large amounts of data storage, and designing efficient parallel processing method based on GPU (Graphics Processing Units: calculation of Graphics Processing unit), the method was applied to MapReduce framework, finally completing MapReduce and GPU double parallel processing cloud computing model to improve the operation speed of the system. Through theoretical modeling and experimental verification, indicating that the system can meet the analysis of geological data operation precision, the operation data amount and the operation speed.

This research examines the recruitment and selection practices followed in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Today education is the corner stone of societal reforms in Pakistan and effective teachers are the backbone of educational reforms. HEIs need significant developmental measures and this paper will provide recommendations to improve the recruitment and selection process promoting the competent and talented teachers so that higher education sector can play its part in economic growth. The research methodology applied is exploratory. This research based on primary as well as secondary data collected from newly hired university lecturers, Managerial staff, internet and online journals and research papers. Data analysis has been done with the help of SPSS software. Research concluded that recruitment and selection process of HEIs adopt systematic system but there is a room for improvement. At times this process is influenced by political factors. This research will help in promoting active constructive researches on education sector as well as the fair and corruption less recruitment and selection processes of HEIs.

This report contains about one of the applications that used by PT. Indonusa Telemedia. The function of this application to facilitate the recruitment and selection process of the company employee’s candidate. The process becomes more efficient because the application can organize the employee candidate data, interview status (proceed, hire, keep, and reject), and his comments based on the interview. The benefit for the company that uses this application is that they can increase their level of efficiency, such as in time and man labor. The level of efficiency can be increase because this application can sort the employee’s candidate data as the request of the department that request addition of employee and centralizing information in one application database.

The modern business milieu is highly competitive due to vast technological advancement which makes employees a vital source of competitive advantage. Precisely, the recruitment process has become a key determinant of an organization’s success and a logistic capital resource to the human resource; thus, the process should be entirely modern. A conventional recruitment and selection process comprises of job analysis, manpower planning, and recruitment and selection. The current study seeks to explore employee recruitment practices and proposes areas of future research in Indian Railways using secondary data. It also gives recommendations on how to improve the recruitment practices in the government-owned Indian Railways. The trends investigated in the study include the applicant tracking software (ATS), use of video resumes, Chatbots, the utilization of social networks, and increased focus on passive candidates.

Although modern bridge are carefully designed and well constructed, damage may occur in them due to unexpected causes. Currently, many different techniques have been proposed and investigated in bridge condition assessment. However, evaluation efficiency of condition assessment has not been paid much attention by the researchers. A fast evaluation of the urban railway bridge condition based on the cloud computing is presented. In this paper dynamic FE model and Artificial neural networks technique is applied to model updating. The cloud computing model provides the basis for fast analyses. It was found that when applied to the actually railway bridges, the proposed method provided results similar to those obtained by experts, but can improve efficiency of bridge

Cloud computing is a novel network-based computing model, in which the cloud infrastructure is constructed in bottom level and provided as the support environment for the applications in upper cloud level. The combination of clouding computing and GIS can improve the performance of GIS, and it can also provide a new prospect of GIS information storage, processing and utilization. By integrating cloud computing and GIS, this paper presented a cloud computing based GIS model based on two features of cloud computing: data storage and transparent custom service. The model contains two layers: service layer and application layer. With this two-layer model, GIS can provide stable and efficient services to end users by optimized network resource allocation of underlying data and services in cloud computing.
