A 19-year-old female patient came with the chief complaint that the upper anterior teeth looked small and with many spaces. The patient claimed that the tooth had never been replaced since birth. The patient wanted to improve the aesthetics of the tooth. Treatment, in this case, was made using a fixed prosthetic to aesthetically rehabilitate through prosthodontic treatment in the anterior teeth agenesis followed by attrition. It can be concluded that fixed prosthodontic treatment using a splint bridge is one treatment option that can be used in multiple anterior teeth agenesis followed by tooth wear. An appropriate material selection increases the aesthetics and functional aspects of the final treatment.

Abstract Aim The aim of this report is to present five-year follow-ups of two different applications for the use of direct laminate resin-based composite veneers to improve esthetics. Background Defects in the maxillary anterior teeth, such as enamel hypoplasia and peg lateral, can present esthetic challenges. Furthermore, a treatment plan that can be completed in a single appointment is highly desirable. This case report presents two different clinical cases involving the use of direct laminate resin-based composite veneers with five-year follow-ups. Case Report Case 1: A 17-year-old female patient was referred for treatment of her anterior teeth, which were unesthetically altered due to enamel hypoplasia and dental caries. A treatment plan was developed that included restoring the affected teeth with direct resin-based composite laminate veneers to improve the patient's appearance. The six maxillary anterior teeth were prepared for and restored with direct resinbased composite laminate veneers. At the fiveyear follow-up, the patient was satisfied with the restorations both esthetically and functionally. Case 2: A 15-year-old female patient also was referred for treatment to improve the appearance of her maxillary anterior teeth. A treatment plan was developed with two objectives: (1) to restore the undersized supernumerary crown in the area of the maxillary right lateral incisor and (2) to close the anterior diastemas. The facial surfaces were conservatively prepared and resin-based composite was applied with the aid of transparent crown forms. After completion of the treatment, the patient was recalled at six-month intervals. At the five-year follow-up appointment, the restorations were intact, no adverse effects were noted, and the resultant appearance was highly satisfactory for the patient. Summary The use of direct resin-based composite laminate veneers and adhesive bonding systems has been shown to provide an esthetic alternative to metal-ceramic or all-ceramic crowns for the rehabilitation of anterior teeth. This treatment option offers another advantage, namely a lower cost compared to an indirect technique. Other more complex and costly treatment options in the future are not ruled out. Clinical Significance In the present two cases, the initial and five-year follow-up results support the use of direct resin-based composite laminate veneers with minimal altering of healthy tooth structure. Such results should encourage clinicians to seek a cost-effective technique such as direct resin restorations to improve a patient's esthetic appearance in a single appointment. This paper highlights the fact that many anterior teeth requiring restoration are severely weakened, having wide flared canal spaces and thin dentinal walls, and are at a high risk of getting fractured. An 20 year old female patient reported with the complaint of unesthetic smile due to fracture and discolored tooth. She gave a history of trauma around 4-5 years back. This case was managed by the customization of fiber reinforced posts which has made a great impact on esthetics and redistribution of stresses along the radicular space and dentin tissue conservation. Thus modern techniques reflect a change from what was once considered prosthodontic procedure to one which marries endodontic principles with sound understanding of mechanical objectives. Maloklusi Angle Kelas I dengan hubungan skeletal Kelas I, bidental protrusi, overjet 3,7 mm, overbite 4 mm, crowding, edge to edge bite, cross bite dan bruxism. ABSTRACT: Edgewise Technique Combined with Trainer for Braces for Bruxism Patient. Bruxism is a parafunctional habit of grinding and clenching the teeth. It is common for patients with fixed orthodontic treatment to experience bruxism. When dealing with these patients, clinicians could initiate the bruxism treatment in conjunction with the orthodontic treatment. This case report will analyze the effects of Trainer for Braces (T4B) in a patient with malocclusion and bruxism habit. A 21 year old female patient complained of her crowding in upper and lower anterior teeth. The objective examination shows protrusion and crowding in upper and lower teeth, deep overbite, severe maxillary and mandibulary constriction, 47 linguoversion and bruxism habit. Angle Class I with skeletal Class I malocclusion, bidental protrusion, overjet 3.7 mm, overbite 4 mm, crowding, edge to edge bite, crossbite and bruxism habit. The orthodontic treatment used fixed preadjusted Edgewise appliance with Lingual Arch Bar for expansion and lingoversion molar correction. Trainer for Braces (T4B) was also prescribed to treat her bruxism. After 8 months of treatment, the crowding in upper and lower teeth was corrected, dental arch expansion was achieved, linguoversion molar was corrected, and overjet and overbite became 3.5 mm and the treatment was still on going. The combination of fixed preadjusted Edgewise appliance with Trainer for Braces (T4B) can be considered as an effective therapy for correcting malocclusion in bruxism patient.

Case report: Even if directly veneering discolored anterior teeth with composite is quite widespread, proper reproduction of their natural appearance requires much from the professional. Comprehensive management, from planning to finishing and polishing, of a severely discolored upper central incisor through its directly veneering is critically reported. Relevance: Direct composite laminate veneers are, indeed, a viable treatment option to correct esthetic abnormalities involving most of the labial surface of anterior teeth. This relative conservative therapy, since accurately performed by the well qualified dentist, will assign the patient esthetic, functional and emotional rehabilitation, culminating in a harmonious and pleasant smile.

Abstract Aim The purpose of this case report is to describe the re-attachment of an anterior tooth fragment using a selfetching adhesive. Background Fracture of anterior teeth by trauma is a common problem in children and teenagers due to their active lifestyle. Restoration of these teeth often presents a challenge because of the large pulp in young teeth and open apical foramen depending on the age of the child. New dental adhesive materials offer an alternative solution for the treatment of some anterior tooth fractures. Report A 17-year-old female patient presented for treatment of a fractured maxillary left central incisor. The clinical examination revealed the exposure of dentin, but there was no exposure of the pulp. The patient saved the tooth fragment making it available for re-attachment to the remaining tooth structure. Under local anesthesia and rubber dam isolation the tooth fragment was re-attached using a self-etching adhesive and a microhybrid composite. Summary The re-attached tooth fragment was assessed clinically, radiographically, and using photographs at one, six, 12, 24, and 36 month intervals. The tooth remained vital, and there was no change in the color of the tooth at the three-year recall. Citation Ozel E, Cildir A, Ozel Y. A tooth can be broken due to many reasons, out of which deep cervical caries can be the one leading to destruction of the whole buccal surface of the tooth. So, to preserve such kind of tooth, root canal treatment is the ultimate treatment option followed by proper selection of the restorative means of such endodontically treated tooth. endodontically treated tooth (ETT) has loss of tooth structure and changes in physical characteristics. Therefore, proper selection of restoration for ETT is mandatory to maintain almost the same level of strength and regaining its functional abilities. The decision of doing restoration of endodontically treated teeth depends on many factors like the amount of tooth structure remaining, condition of the opposing tooth, etc. In cases of less than 50 % tooth structure remaining post and core followed by crown is the best treatment option. This article showcases a case report of treatment of anterior teeth with deep cervical caries. The posts used in these cases were fiber post which were luted and the core build up was done with ParaCore, which is a glassreinforced composite by Coltene.
