This study aims to see the role of principals and teachers in improving the quality of learning at SMA Negeri 5 Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU). The formulation of the problem in this study is how the role of principal leadership and teacher professionalism in an effort to improve the quality of learning. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method. The data source is 50 teachers. The data technique is done by interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study illustrate that the role of principal ownership and teacher professionalism in an effort to improve the quality of learning in schools has been done as well as possible. This is with the shared role of the teacher in planning the Learning Implementation Plan that has been made and approved by the principal.

The principal is a leader in educational institutions that regulates and manages educational activities in schools. Therefore, school principals play an important role in improving the quality of education, especially improving teacher performance to be more enthusiastic and professional in teaching and developing themselves who are in charge of delivering lessons to students. This study aims to identify the role of principal supervision as an effort to improve teacher professionalism in teaching at SMA Negeri 10 OKU.This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 10 OKU. The research was carried out for 3 (three) months, starting from September 2020 to November 2020. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used include: (1) Interview or Interview; (2) Observation; (3) Documentation. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the principal had a role in the supervision carried out as an effort to improve teacher professionalism in teaching. It is known: (1) The role of principal supervision is evidenced by the teacher in planning lesson plans which are made reported and approved by the principal and according to the curriculum; (2) The role of principal supervision is proven by the teacher in carrying out the learning process in accordance with the learning device guidelines and using teaching aids; (3) The role of principal supervision is evidenced by the teacher evaluating the learning outcomes and reporting to the principal; (4) The role of principal supervision is evidenced by the teacher following up on the learning outcomes in accordance with the direction of the principal; (5) The role of principal supervision is evidenced by the teacher providing guidance to students.

The leadership role of the principal in improving the quality of learning at SDN 3 Makarti Jaya, Banyuasin Regency can be said to have played a role in improving the quality of learning.As educators, school principals guide teachers how to deliver effective and efficient learning materials, as managers of principals able to optimize educational facilities, as administrators able to compile programs,as a supervisor able to compile an educational supervision program, as a headmaster leader Understand the condition of the school community, as an innovator able to implement reform (change for the better),as a motivator to be able to regulate the work / learning atmosphere, as an intreprenuer of the principal together with the school committee to work together to work creatively in extracting sources of empowerment to improve teacher professionalism,especially with regard to teachers to attend professionalism education and training as well as sending teachers to attend seminars.

This study aims to discuss how learning management improves learning quality during the covid-19 pandemic, the implementation of this study using qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research are steps that can be done by teachers min Medan in improving the quality of learning is by applying learning management patterns. Implementation of educational programs that are good in learning, management is an important part, the implementation of learning management conducted by teachers MIN Medan includes activities (1) Planning learning objectives, (2) Organizing learning by using varied learning resources that aim to make it easier to achieve learning objectives, (3) implementing teacher leadership in the way teachers in learning must always motivate students, by encouraging students in learning activities, and teachers should give attention to students, (4) evaluate learning to know the extent of student development and to know if learning objectives have been optimally achieved, and to know if student constraints in achieving learning objectives. Teacher learning management MIN Medan is a teacher's activity in managing students' learning situations through online learning. In the management of this learning is certainly asked the teacher's expertise and the wisdom of the teacher so that the rhythm of the task given does not burden the students.

This study aims to identify and describe the role of principal leadership in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees and to find out what obstacles are the obstacles to the role of principal leadership in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees at SMP PGRI 03 Kencong, Jember Regency. Is a type of qualitative descriptive research and uses purposive sampling technique. There are five roles of the Principal and two obstacles faced by the Principal in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees. The results showed that the principal of SMP PGRI 03 Kencong, Jember Regency carried out the role of a leader by planning and deliberating; as a manager by creating collaboration between teachers and employees; as an educator by preparing a learning program plan; as an administrator by managing facilities and infrastructure as well as financial administration; motivator by providing motivation with a conducive school environment. The obstacles faced by the principal in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees are teachers and employees who are less disciplined in carrying out their duties so that it is also difficult to improve their work discipline, as well as obstacles in inadequate school facilities and infrastructure. Keywords: employees, leadership, principals, teachers, work discipline Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai dan untuk  mengetahui kendala apa saja yang menjadi penghambat peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai di SMP PGRI 03 Kencong Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Terdapat lima peran Kepala Sekolah dan dua kendala yang dihadapi oleh Kepala Sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah SMP PGRI 03 Kencong Kabupaten Jember melaksanakan peran sebagai pemimpin dengan membuat perencanaan dan bermusyawarah; sebagai manajer dengan menciptakan kerjasama antara guru dan pegawai; sebagai pendidik dengan menyusun rencana program pembelajaran;sebagai administrator dengan mengelola sarana dan prasarana serta administrasi keuangan; motivator dengan memberikan motivasi  dengan lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif. Kendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai yaitu guru dan pegawai yang kurang disiplin dalam melaksanakan tugas sehingga kesulitan pula dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerjanya, serta kendala dalam sarana dan prasarana sekolah yang belum memadai. This study aims to determine how the role of principal In Improving Teacher Quality in Private MTs Nurul Falah Talok Kresek Tangerang District. This research is qualitative with Field Research approach (Field Research). In this research, it is found that the head of madrasah in improving the quality of teachers in private MTs Nurul Falah Talok Kresek Tangerang Regency can be achieved. Achievement and success are based on a number of findings in the research that took place, namely 1). The Head of Madrasah has empowered the effort to improve the quality of teachers by covering various practical and logical work such as teacher competence test, guidance of teaching program and improvement of teacher professionalism, Increase of income and teacher welfare. 2). Madrasah principals undertake various development and fulfillment efforts related to infrastructure and madrasah infrastructure facilities. Another result of this research is that the success of the madrasah head that can support the process of teacher quality improvement can occur due to several factors, among others 1). Madrasah principal can play an important role as a leader with its central power to always move the artery of madrasah life, 2). The head of Madrasah is also able to understand SOP, their duties and functions for the success of madrasah accompanied by a strong attitude towards the subordinates who lead in this case the teacher in his madrasah. The quality assurance and development of an educational institution depends on the quality of the headmaster as an educational leader. Therefore, the headmaster are required to be more creative, innovative and dynamic in line with changes in society that are increasingly fast and open. This study aims to analyze the role of principal leadership in supporting quality assurance at SMA YP 17 Surabaya. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. From the results of the study it can be concluded that in supporting quality assurance, the leadership of the head of SMA YP 17 Surabaya is supported by the character of strong responsibility, courage in making decisions, and participation in implementing policies. The headmaster has made several important efforts in supporting the quality assurance of the institution by developing the curriculum, human resources, infrastructure and increasing community participation. In managerial terms, the development of the quality of the institution is supported by good coordination with the academic community and the existence of togetherness in curriculum management and learning. In order for quality assurance to be more effective, the headmaster must periodically evaluate every program that has been implemented. The aim is to measure the level of success and find out the deficiencies of the program being implemented. Furthermore, the headmaster needs to conduct more massive socialization of the institution to the community. This is an effort to increase community participation in efforts to develop the quality of schools in the future.

This study aims to describe the role of the principal in the implementation of academic supervision, the results and obstacles of academic supervision in improving the professionalism of teachers of SMP Negeri in MuaraTelang, Banyuasin District. This research uses qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The location of this research is SMP Negeri in MuaraTelangBanyuasin District. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the findings is done by observing persistence, triangulation and reference adequacy. The results of this study explain the positive and significant role of principal academic supervision in improving the professionalism of teachers of SMP Negeri in MuaraTelang District, Banyuasin. Through discussion of the implementation of academic supervision, the results of academic supervision, and the inhibiting factors for academic supervision of school principals. The results of the supervision carried out by the principal of the State Junior High School in MuaraTelangBanyuasin District were able to improve teacher professionalism in pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence and social competence.

ABSTRAKPeran Pustakawan dalam pengelolaan dan penerbitan jurnal ilmiah berdasarkan pengalaman dari pengelola jurnal Sosiohumaniora, Bionatura, Dharmakarya dan  Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Universitas Padjadjaran, tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini, yaitu: (1) berbagi pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan jurnal serta manfaatnya bagi pustakawan; (2) menjelaskan peran pustakawan dalam pengelolaan dan penerbitan jurnal ilmiah; dan (3) menunjukkan kegiatan atau pekerjaan yang dapat diklaim sebagai angka kredit pustakawan ketika menjadi pengelola jurnal online. Metode yang digunakan metode kualitatif- deskriptif.  Metode kualitatif adalah ”disebut pula metode  penelitian  naturalistik karena penelitiannya dilakukan  pada kondisi yang alamiah. Pendekatan deskriptif adalah ” suatu penelitian yang  didasarkan pada data yang ada atau penyelidikan  yang  bertujuan pada pemecahan masalah.  Peran pustakawan sebagai pengelola jurnal ilmiah perlu pula masuk dalam kompetensi pustakawan karena berkaitan dengan keahlian pustakawan dalam memberikan layanan informasi. Dengan demikian, adanya peran aktif pustakawan di berbagai lembaga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan jurnal ilmiah di Indonesia. Kata Kunci : pengelolaan, penerbitan, jurnal online, administrator jurnal ROLE OF LIBRARY IN MANAGEMENTAND PUBLISHING SCIENTIFIC JOURNALSABSTRACTThe role of librarians in the management and publication of scientific journals is based on the experience of the managers of the journal Sosiohumaniora, Bionatura, Dharmakarya and the Community Service Journal at Padjadjaran University, the objectives of writing this article: (2) explain the role of librarians in the management and publication of scientific journals; and (3) showing activities or work that can be claimed as librarian credit numbers when managing the journal. The method used is qualitative-descriptive method. Qualitative methods are "also called naturalistic research methods because their research is carried out in natural conditions". Descriptive approach is "a study based on existing data or an investigation aimed at solving problems. The role of librarians as managers of scientific journals also needs to be included in librarian competencies because they are related to librarian expertise in providing information services.
