The COVID-19 pandemic has led to disruptions in consumers' lifestyles and purchases, as well as businesses' online business models. Online platforms are increasingly used for shopping purposes. To evaluate and choose an e-commerce platform requires using many criteria and decision makers. Therefore, the process of evaluating and selecting an e-commerce platform is viewed as a multi-criteria decision-making problem. The objective of this study is to develop a multi-criteria decision-making model to help consumers evaluating the e-commerce platforms. In the proposed model, the ratings of alternatives and the weights of the criteria are evaluated using the linguistic variable. Simulation examples are used to show the effectiveness of the model in practice.  Keywords: Fuzzy TOPSIS, E-Commerce Platform, Mcdm, Fuzzy Sets.

Banking has always played an important role in the economy because of its effects on individuals as well as on the economy. In the process of renovation and modernization of the country, the system of commercial banks has changed dramatically. Business models and services have become more diversified. Therefore, the performance of commercial banks is always attracting the attention of managers, supervisors, banks and customers. Bank ranking can be viewed as a multi-criteria decision model. This article uses the technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method to rank some commercial banks in Vietnam.

Applying a MCDM model has many benefits for decision makers in the course of oil field master development plans preparation and evaluation. In this study, a multi-criteria decision making model is proposed in order to achieve an optimum production profile. The most important criteria and parameters for selection of best production profile are identified. These parameters are derived by several interviews with Iranian oil Industry’s experts. The candidate alternatives for production profile are ranked using a combination of group decision making approach and social choice theory. The degree of group consensus is evaluated by using a statistic model to confirm the validity of decision making model.

Life insurance is an agreement between an insured and an insurer, where the insurer pays out a sum of money either on a specific period or the death of the insured. Now a day, People can buy a policy through an online platform. There are a lot of insurance companies available in the market, and each company has various policies. Selecting the best insurance company for purchasing an online term plan is a very complex problem. People may confuse to choose the best insurance company for buying an online term. It is a multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problem, and the problem consists of different criteria and various alternatives. Here in this paper, a model has been proposed to solve this decision-making problem. In this model, a fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making approach combined with technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) and it has been applied to rank the different insurance companies based on online term plans. The experimental results show that the life insurance corporation of India (LIC) gets the top rank out of 12 companies for purchasing an online term plan. A sensitivity analysis has been performed to validate the proposed model.

Supplier performance evaluation is a decision-making problem that involves quantitative and qualitative metrics. Although several models that allow the use of linguistic terms such as "low" and "high" to evaluate suppliers, none of them enables the application of linguistic expressions, which is especially useful when decision makers hesitates to express their evaluations. This study proposes a model based on the Hesitant Fuzzy TOPSIS method to support the supplier performance evaluation. A pilot application was carried out in an automotive company considering 8 suppliers and 10 criteria. When compared to previous similar approaches, the proposed model presented the following advantages: it enables the use of linguistic expressions to assess the supplier performance in each criterion; it groups suppliers with similar levels of performance to develop appropriate management actions; and does not limit the number of criteria and suppliers evaluated.

The paper provides a multiple-experts Fuzzy-TOPSIS decision-making model for the selection among maintenance contractors based on the quality of tendering documents. The study introduces a set of selection criteria utilizing benefit and cost criteria from literature. The proposed model aggregates subjective linguistic assessments of multiple experts that express their opinions on the degree of importance of criteria and allows multiple decisionmakers to evaluate the compliance of contractors’ documents. For a case study, the model is applied to select among contractors tendering to maintain the heavy-duty cranes of an international steel company from literature. Several decision-making scenarios are investigated, and major changes in the final decision are observed. The changes in obtained results illustrate the need to better address uncertainties in rating and tendering an overqualified contractor at a higher cost.

Dynamic multi-criteria decision-making (DMCDM) models have many meaningful applications in real life in which solving indeterminacy of information in DMCDMs strengthens the potential application of DMCDM. This study introduces an extension of dynamic internal-valued neutrosophic sets namely generalized dynamic internal-valued neutrosophic sets. Based on this extension, we develop some operators and a TOPSIS method to deal with the change of both criteria, alternatives, and decision-makers by time. In addition, this study also applies the proposal model to a real application that facilitates ranking students according to attitude-skill-knowledge evaluation model. This application not only illustrates the correctness of the proposed model but also introduces its high potential appliance in the education domain.

Today, IS supplier selection is one of the most critical steps in the outsourcing process; the success of outsourcing is highly dependent on the selection of IS suppliers. This paper proposes a new hybrid fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) model, which uses decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) technique, analytic network process (ANP), and Vlse Kriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje(VIKOR) to evaluate four potential suppliers using seven factors and five decision makers using a realistic case study. the results showed that Service support is importance for outsourcing. The proposed model can help practitioners improve their decision making process.
