This research aims to evaluate the perception and productive efficiency of agricultural cooperatives in Hau Giang province Vietnam. The main contribution of this paper is the comparison between two types of cooperatives including fruit cooperatives (jackfruit, lemon) and rice cooperatives representing new and conventional forms, respectively. The primary data in this research was obtained by directly interviewed 50 cooperatives. Descriptive statistics, t-test, financial indicators, Likert scale, and SWOT matrix were employed to analyze the data. Descriptive statistics and comparative methods were first employed to assess the current state of cooperatives through criteria such as capital resources, age of cooperatives, number of members, age, education level of the cooperative head. Likert scale was then employed to identify perceptions and desires in order to enhance cooperative activities through several suggestions combine with SWOT matrix analysis. The analysis of the current situation identifies that the cooperative is increasing in quantity and quality, creating more job opportunities for its members and diversifying services. However, the weaknesses of cooperatives include organizational capacity, infrastructure conditions, unstable output prices and export markets, and poor competitiveness. The comparison results reveal that fruit cooperatives are more effective than rice cooperatives, but the differences are not statistically significant. The SWOT matrix analysis proposes some innovation strategies for agricultural cooperatives, including focusing on diversifying forms of activities and organizing market linkages with businesses, supporting product output; increase operational capital through capital mobilization, infrastructure investment, market consolidation, and technical development, as well as capacity building of cooperatives through training. The purpose of this study was to identify internal and external factors of SMEs of Junggo Village Goat, to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by Junggo Goat Village SMEs, to formulate a business development strategy that should be done of  SMEs of Goat Village Junggo . This research uses participatory action research (PAR) approach to data collection and processing. The data obtained in the form of primary data and secondary data. Based on the results of SWOT matrix analysis, there are several alternative strategies such as increasing the number of permanent customers, increasing sales capacity, increasing production capacity, promoting, performing financial and administration recording system, conducting market research and development, providing quality goats, increasing synergism and partnership, provide supplementary food and preventive medicine and conduct comparative studies.


This research aims to study and analyze changes in the organization and improve the organization's values in Commercial Banking Center Mandiri Bank Surabaya. The collection of primary data through individual interviews focus group and secondary data from the investigation of corporate documents and observation of existing employees. Analysis using SWOT matrix aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as well as to improve and redesign the existing activities. Based on the result of this research using SWOT matrix analysis, it produce 20 strategies that can be used as alternative to improve its performance for Mandiri Bank Surabaya.

This research aims to identify critical success factor of internal and external, to formulate strategies alternative and to determine priority of Durian Sanggaran marketing strategy in Matesih Sub-District Karanganyar District. Research’s basic method is analytical descriptive method. Determination of Matesih Sub-District as the location of the research decided by purposive (on purpose). The type of data used are the primary data and secondary data. Data analysis methods used (1) Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM) to identify critical success factors, (2) SWOT matrix to formulate an alternative marketing strategy Durian Sanggaran, and (3 ) QSPM to determine priorities Durian Sanggaran marketing strategy. The analysis showed that (1) The first ranking of local durian in Matesih Sub District based on the Competitive Profile Matrix analysis is Durian Sanggaran with a total score of 2.909 (2) The Alternative strategies can be applied in the marketing of Durian Sanggaran in Matesih Sub-District Karanganyar Regency are: modify the product, make improvements durian stall traders, and forge partnerships with governments and financial institutions. (3) Priority strategies that can be applied in the marketing of Durian Sanggaran in Matesih District Karanganyar Regency is improving the durian stall traders.

Optimum development of beef cattle is feasible in the potential area with effective strategies. This research was conducted in Banyumas regency. The purpose of this study was to describe the potential of Banyumas Regency in developing beef cattle farming as the basis for its development strategy. A survey method was conducted to obtain the secondary data supported by primary data subjected to simple descriptive statistical analysis consisting of mean values, distribution frequency, cross-tabulation and trend analysis. Ruminant potentials were investigated using LQ analysis, and developmental strategies were formulated using a SWOT analysis. The result showed a fluctuated but positive improvement trend of beef cattle population in Banyumas. Sub-districts potentially developed for beef cattle centres (LQ>1) included Kembaran, Sokaraja, Kalibagor, Kedungbanteng, Karanglewas, Sumbang and Baturraden. A quantitative SWOT matrix analysis showed that the internal factor was 0.0298 (X-axis), and the external factor was – 0.2941 (Y-axis). Conclusively, The key strategy to develop beef cattle in Banyumas was a differential strategy.

This study aims to determine the role of agricultural extension workers in oil palm farming in Sabbang Village, Sabbang District, North Luwu Regency. This research was conducted in January 2019 with the number of farmers being sampled as many as 31 respondents. Data collected in the form of primary data with secondary data, while the method of collecting data through interviews and observation. The analytical method used is descriptive statistics using a Likert scale. The results showed that the role of agricultural instructors in oil palm farming in Sabbang Village as a whole can be categorized as quite well with a score of 91.76 in carrying out their duties and functions. The role of the agriculture instructor in carrying out education is categorized very well with a score of 108.2, The role of the agricultural instructor in carrying out facilitation is categorized not good with a score of 77, The role of the agriculture instructor in conducting consultations is categorized as quite well with a score of 96, with a score of 81.4, the role of agricultural extension agents in carrying out monitoring and evaluation is categorized as quite well with a score of 96.2.

In Indonesia, soybeans are categorized as secondary crops with high demand. Indonesian government still emphasizes soybean self-sufficiency and efforts to grow soybean production, but the low yields and limited profitability of soybeans imply that Indonesian farmers will continue to grow other crops, namely rice or corn. This study aims to identify whether the Semarang district government must issue  seed subsidies to support soybean competitiveness in terms of productivity and minimum prices so that it can compete with other crops, namely rice, and corn. Primary and secondary data are used in this study. Primary data were collected in a field survey in Bancak District. The sampling method uses a purposive sampling technique, which interviewed 45 farmers. Analyzed using descriptive statistics and competitiveness matrix analysis. The results showed that the analysis of soybean competitiveness was lower than rice and corn despite the existence of subsidy assistance.

Recent studies have documented that innovations improve profitability of firms. This article documents that deposit taking micro financial institutions that have adopted financial innovations have increased their profitability. The study covered five years between 2009-2013. Both primary and secondary data were used in the study. Primary data was obtained through administration of drop and pick questionnaires to selected employees of the institutions. Secondary data was obtained from financial statements and management reports of these deposit taking microfinance institutions. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, return on asset and multi-liner regression model to determine the effect of each financial innovation applied on profitability on the micro-financial institution. The results showed that most deposit taking microfinance institutions adopted these financial innovations in their current operations. There was strong positive relationship between individual innovations and profitability. In line with profitability ROA also showed improvement each year after the adoption of these financial innovations.

This study aims to analyze causes of the low uptake of the budget and formulate a strategy of maximizing the absorption of expenditure on Balai Penelitian dan Pengembangan Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Manokwari. Respondents involved are 20 people that consist of: treasury officials and holder output of activity. The data used were secondary data in the form of reports on budget realization (LRA) quarter I, II, III and IV of the fiscal year 2011 to 2015, and the primary data were in the form of interviews with the help of a questionnaire. While the analysis of the data used was descriptive analysis using data tabulation, and the analysis of the three stages strategy of the decision making used IFE and EFE matrix, SWOT matrix and QSPM matrix.The results showed that there are 19 factors causing low of budget absorption until the end of the third quarter, and there were 10 drafts of policy as a strategy for maximizing the absorption of the budget on Balai Penelitian dan Pengembangan Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Manokwari.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penyebab rendahnya penyerapan anggaran belanja dan merumuskan strategi maksimalisasi penyerapan anggaran belanja pada Balai Penelitian dan Pengembangan Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Manokwari. Responden yang terlibat adalah 20 orang yaitu pejabat perbendaharaan dan pemegang output kegiatan. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa laporan realisasi anggaran (LRA) triwulan I, II, III dan IV tahun anggaran 2011 sampai 2015, dan data primer berupa wawancara dengan bantuan kuesioner. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif menggunakan analisis tabulasi, dan analisis analisis strategi tiga tahap pengambilan keputusan menggunakan matriks IFE dan EFE, matriks SWOT dan matriks QSPM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 19 faktor penyebab rendahnya penyerapan anggaran belanja sampai akhir triwulan III, dan terdapat 10 rancangan kebijakan sebagai strategi maksimalisasi penyerapan anggaran belanja di Balai Penelitian dan Pengembangan Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Manokwari.

Aim of this paper is to assess the empirically demographic differences among the customers regarding customer value in Life Insurance Corporation. It is a fact that life insurance players in J&K have realized that their business advantage depends on customer value. The study is based upon the primary data obtained from customers of LIC belonging to various districts of J&K through quota sampling. A questionnaire was framed containing items of demographics and statements measuring customer value based upon seven point Likert scale. The findings indicate that the demographic variables viz., age, qualification, occupation wise, there is no significant difference regarding customer value in the perception of customers of LIC. However, district wise respondents do differ in their opinion regarding customer value in Life Insurance Corporation.

Objectives: The present study seeks to examine the perception of the graduate students and pensioners of some selected localities of Kolkata about the importance of ATMs as a branch surrogate, impact of the ceiling on withdrawals from ATMs, and the strategies to win over the capping for the customers as well as for the banks to retain them. Participants and Data collection: It obtained primary data from 200 respondents consisting of 140 graduate students and 60 pensioners using different non-probability sampling techniques through schedule and personal interviews. Research Methods: Different statistical tests like factor analysis, Mann Whitney U test, students t-test, regression analysis, and descriptive statistics were performed to assess support for the hypotheses. The reliability of the questions and sample adequacy test was also carried out. Through factor analysis, five major factors viz. perceptions about ATM- an avatar for banks, customers satisfaction in ATM services, customers repercussion on capping, financial planning for withdrawals, and strategies for customers to avoid charges and for banks to retain them were extracted. Results: The results of the study suggest that youth prefer to use ATMs which has become indispensable and provide diversified financial services that leads to customers satisfaction, but withdrawing now requires some planning as customers need to visit branches to avoid fees. To retain the customers the banks should encourage the use of more electronic cards and net banking, should not charge for withdrawing own funds, allow them to access even the non-home branch ATMs close to the their locality, should reduce the minimum average floor balance to enjoy free unlimited access of home bank ATMs and keep currency of higher denomination to reduce the number of transactions.
