This research work investigates pragmatic transfers in Okedokun’s Mopelola: The Tale of a Beauty Goddess. It aims at identifying, analyzing and interpreting pragmatic features through which specific meanings are conveyed in the selected play. In the attempt to reach this goal, the data are randomly collected from the whole play on the basis of a quantitative method. Then, the statistical results are qualitatively discussed and interpreted in terms of their frequency distribution. The findings show a predominance of pragmatic transfer of loan words representing 33.33% followed by proverbs 32.14% and loan-blends 16.16%. Transfers of greetings, insults and apology are low as they represent respectively 3.57%, 3.57%, and 2.38% whereas other transfers such as request, gratitude, offer, blaming/reproaching and advice are almost nonexistent. The high proportions of loan words as well as proverbs suggest the author’s determination to value Yoruba culture and tradition. The almost important proportion of loan-blends constitutes a strategy for the author to attract readers’ attention on the various authentic Yoruba expressions. The presence of transfer in greetings stresses the peculiarity of Yoruba culture characterized by the expression of profound respect to elderly people. On the other hand, the presence of insults indicates that though Yoruba culture is characterized by the expression of profound respect, some Yoruba people, as the black sheep, do develop arrogance in contradiction to their culture.

This study aims to find out the effect of event and publicity towards brand awareness on Indonesia Financial Service Authority, usually called with its abbreviation OJK. The research background is because OJK was newly established as a financial service authority, replacing Bank Indonesia. Therefore, exploring the awareness of the people about the function of OJK is interesting to be a research subject. This method used in this study is the quantitative method with 82 samples as the questionnaire respondents. The population chosen was an OJK’s event held at LPPI and Indonesia Banking School with 122 participants. Validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, heteroskedasticity, correlation, determination, regression, hypothesis and ANOVA tests are used as a statistical approach in order to define the outcome of the survey. The results of this study are both event and publicity have a positive and a significant influence towards brand awareness partially and simultaneously. As the conclusion, OJK should continue its programs. On the other hand, OJK should find another public relations strategy to accelerate people awareness about the duties of OJK. Abstract This paper examines the productivity of the subject complement slot in a set of French and Dutch (semi-)copular micro-constructions. The presumed counterpart of productivity, conventionalization in the form of high token frequency, will also be taken into account in the analysis of the productivity complex. On the one hand, it will be shown that prototypical copulas generally have a higher productivity than semi-copulas, although there are some semi-copulas that can rival the productivity of prototypical copulas. On the other hand, it will be demonstrated that high token frequency is in general detrimental to productivity, on the level of the entire subject complement slot and on the level of the different semantic classes. However, the shape of the frequency distribution also seems to play a role: multiple highly frequent types are in my data more detrimental to productivity than one extremely frequent type, although the semantic connectedness of the types in the distribution might also be an explanatory factor.

My apologies to Mr. Chrétien and to your readers for “developing some simplistic formulas on Burundi” in my quest for “media success.” No such simplistic formulas enter his criticism of my Congressional testimony. On the one hand, I am taken to task for not conceding that my interpretation of the Hutu-Tutsi conflict as a recent phenomenon is the product of Chrétien’s “patient research work” over the last quarter of a century; on the other hand, “some very similar analysis” had appeared in my “excellent work of 1970,” which came out long before Mr. Chrétien embarked on his patient research! Try to figure that one out if you can.

This study attempts to investigate the impact of human capital on the common stock's return. The population of the study is Egyptian companies listed at the Egyptian exchange (EGX) due to 2014-2018. The statistical results indicate that there is a general tendency to change common stock's hold return to the corporation's human capital, and it is significant at 0.01 levels. In other terms, it can be stated that the corporation's human capital has a significant impact on common stock's hold return in the Egyptian corporation, and according to Adjusted R-squared the corporation's human capital explain a 57.8% from the change common stock's hold return.so; led to the impact of human capital on creating value of common stock. This can be traced back to investing in "the development and researches" on the other hand besides training, therefore medicine and technology companies get affected through these fields of development researches areas; however companies in industrial and banking sector get impacted by training field.

Prediction of future movement of stock prices has been a subject matter of many research work. On one hand, we have proponents of the Efficient Market Hypothesis who claim that stock prices cannot be predicted, on the other hand, there are propositions illustrating that, if appropriately modeled, stock prices can be predicted with a high level of accuracy. There is also a gamut of literature on technical analysis of stock prices where the objective is to identify patterns in stock price movements and profit from it. In this work, we propose a hybrid approach for stock price prediction using five deep learning-based regression models. We select the NIFTY 50 index values of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India, over a period of December 29, 2014 to July 31, 2020. Based on the NIFTY data during December 29, 2014 to December 28, 2018, we build two regression models using convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and three regression models using long-and-short-term memory (LSTM) networks for predicting the open values of the NIFTY 50 index records for the period December 31, 2018 to July 31, 2020. We adopted a multi-step prediction technique with walk-forward validation. The parameters of the five deep learning models are optimized using the grid-search technique so that the validation losses of the models stabilize with an increasing number of epochs in the model training, and the training and validation accuracies converge. Extensive results are presented on various metrics for all the proposed regression models. The results indicate that while both CNN and LSTM-based regression models are very accurate in forecasting the NIFTY 50 open values, the CNN model that previous one week’s data as the input is the fastest in its execution. On the other hand, the encoder-decoder convolutional LSTM model uses the previous two weeks’ data as the input is found to be the most accurate in its forecasting results.

AbstractThis study aims to discover the influents of Mudharabah and Musyarakah income towards BRI Syariah profitability. The researcher applied the quantitative method using two variables. They are mudharabah and musyarakah (x) and profitability (y). The research samples are quarterly financial report published by BRI Syariah during 2010-2015 periods. Research data are initially exposed to a classical assumption test in order to check whether those data are compatible for hypothesis test. The classical assumption test includes normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelations and heteroscedasticity test. Based on the hypothesis test, the dependent variable which can be explained by the independent variables is 29,9 % while the rest 71,1 % are explained by other variables. The simultant test (F) shows that variable x is influenced by variable y. it is proven by a p-value that is smaller than the level of significant (0,027 < 0,05). On the other hand, musyarakah is not affected since the p-value is bigger than the level of significant (0,319 > 0.15).Keywords :Mudharabah, Musyarakah, Profitability

Introduction: It is common knowledge, that usually a dog is a friend to a man. There are very many examples which can confirm this thesis. And really, we know many cases when dogs/pets help in our life and even save a man if he/she is in a dangerous situation (into a water – to protect against to sink into the water), to defend against many people (robber, thief, violator, murderer). There are dogs which have the good skills like a leader/guide for the old people or in the case if a man is practically blind. On the other hand, there are many persons/owners who are ready to help their dogs, to feed, to wash, to treat, to go for a walk in any weather, to create rather comfortable conditions for living. Unfortunately, each of us has the tendency to aging both a man and a dog. In this case we are needed to help to all of them. Elderly people very often have different diseases connected, for example, with a head (sclerosis/memory), with eyesight (cataract, glaucoma), with a heart (tachycardia), with lungs (pneumonia) and they can quickly gather big weight in accordance with their life activity. But let’s suppose the definite man periodically has a problem with his legs to go for a walk with his beloved dog twice a day and for a long time. So, in this article there is one example how to solve this problem for the old man using special cage with the automated system of a control. It helps for the animal to save shape and activity in the flat conditions without any walk. And at the same time there is one important information about a man who has the different activities in a life to protect against the obesity.

The outstanding impression left from our visit is a memory of the extraordinary kindness of the hospitality which we received: in particular the officials of the Kaiser-Wilhelm Gesellschaft took the utmost pains to organize our visit so that we could utilize the time at our disposal as profitably as possible. Our greatest privilege was that of meeting our colleagues at Dahlem and seeing their remarkable group of institutes, which together, are comparable in size to a university. The research work carried out there is world renowned and hence need not be specified in detail. Our general impression was that this organization provided ideal conditions for research. The heads of the institutes could devote their uninterrupted attention to research whilst the equipment and staffing were much superior to those in most universities. On the other hand, the grouping together of the institutes prevented the isolation which is so commonly a trouble with research institutes.
