The goal of this article is to examine the antecedents of behavioral intention toward mobile money, as well as the mediating role of trust on behavioral intention and financial inclusion in Vietnam during the COVID-19 period, using an expanded unified theory of technology acceptance and use (UTAUT2). The data were collected by an online self-administered questionnaire and analyzed using SmartPLS 3.3.3. To determine the exogenous constructs’ relevance and performance, a matrix analysis of importanceperformancewas used. The findings indicate that behavioral desire to use mobile money is primarily driven by awareness, structural assurance, habit, and performance expectation. The behavioral intention of mobile money will substantially influence its adoption, and trust will not act as a mediator between behavioral intention and financial inclusion. The extended UTAUT2 was used for the first time to analyze mobile money in Vietnam. Additionally, the new research provides a more comprehensive explanation for users’ financial inclusion than past research provided.

Mobile money services give trade benefits such as bill payment, decreased transaction costs and time, expanded savings possibilities, sales, and convenience. Despite the benefits, traders in Uganda are still slow to adopt and use mobile money services. This article reflects on the findings of a study that looked at the barriers that merchants experience while utilizing and implementing mobile money services in Uganda. A self-administered questionnaire was utilized to obtain data from 394 survey respondents. A model for encouraging traders to use mobile money services is offered. The suggested model expands on the Unified Theory of Technology Acceptance and Use. According to regression study, performance expectancy, social factors, and sensitization components all have a substantial impact on the behavioral intention of mobile money service uptake for trade. On the other hand, security and effort expectation had no significant affect on traders' behavioral intention to use mobile money services. Furthermore, the data show that enabling conditions affected the utilization of mobile money services for commercial transactions. The suggested approach is adaptable and generic, and it may be used in other developing nations with comparable circumstances to Uganda.

Polychronicity refers to the preference of some individuals to structure their time in order to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously in a short period of time. Past research regarding the correlation between individual polychronicity and performance presented distinct arguments. Although most studies supported a positive correlation with performance, empirical findings showed inconsistent results, indicating the presence of other influencing factors. According to the person–environment fit theory and self-determination theory, the effect of polychronicity on job performance was verified and the mediation effect of well-being was tested in this study. Dual-mode questionnaires were collected from 532 subordinators and their direct supervisors in 98 chain restaurants and hierarchical regression analysis was performed to test the research hypotheses. The results showed that polychronicity positively affected well-being, that is, well-being was a full mediator between polychronicity and job performance. This study provides valuable insight for managers to understand employee polychronicity and, in turn, improve their well-being, which could help improve job performance.

Nigeria, like many developing economies has been fighting financial exclusion through different mechanisms and with financial inclusion target set at 80% by 2020 by its National Financial Inclusion Strategy, mobile money has been identified as a platform for achieving this goal. Consequently, twenty-one mobile money operators were licensed by the apex bank (Central Bank of Nigeria) to provide mobile money services to millions of Nigerians as a means of bridging the gap between the financially served, the under-served as well as the un-served. Using empirical evidence from two nationwide mobile money adoption and financial inclusion surveys, and a synthesis of technology acceptance and use models, this chapter explores the causes of mobile money adoption and extent of use across the adult population. It further provides recommendations to policy makers, mobile money operators and agents as well as institutions that support the enhancement of financial inclusion towards optimizing the benefits of mobile money and realization of the 80% financial inclusion target.

Quick Response Indonesia Standard (QRIS) is the QR Code which is standardized by Bank Indonesia as the technology used for the cashless payment method. It has been released officially since January 2020. The aim of this standardization is to provide an easier and more efficient payment method by QR Code technology. The electronic wallet's providers which are already implemented QRIS as their payment technology are Go-Pay and OVO. The goal of this research is to predict the factors affecting the user acceptance of QRIS implementation as the electronic wallet’s payment technology. The user acceptance regarding the QRIS implementation is predicted by user technology acceptance model called UTAUT 2. The variables used in this research are all UTAUT 2 model variables except age, gender, experience, and price value. The method used for analysing the data in this research is PLS-SEM. The result of this research shows that the facilitating conditions and hedonic motivation affect the user's behavioral intention for using QRIS as their payment technology, and this behavioral intention also gives the effect to their use behavior.

Higher education institutions have switched from the traditional paper-based assessment to online assessment in the last decade, and it is worthwhile to examine how the users have perceived such a change. While many technology acceptance studies focused on students as participants, this study examines the lecturers' perception of online assessment. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology model (UTAUT) has been widely adapted for technology acceptance studies, and it is suitable for the study on online assessment systems. Unlike the findings from the original UTAUT model, performance expectancy did not have a significant effect on behavioral intention. A new relationship was found between Social Influence and Use Behavior. The UTAUT was extended with Usability, Learnability and Attitude as additional constructs. An essential aspect of this study ascertained that attitude, a construct that was absent in the original model, has a significant effect on behavioral intention.

This research is motivated to analyze the technology acceptance of the Transportation Services Applications in Jabodetabek using Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) 2 model. The purpose of this research is to determine the factors based on UTAUT 2 model for the use behavior to use the Transportation Services Applications in Jabodetabek and to test the UTAUT 2 model whether the model is suitable for this research to assess which factors that affect the use behavior of those applications or not. Population in this research is the people who live in Jabodetabek and the sample size is 238. The methodology used in this research consists of literature review and data analysis. The result shows that only four variable factors that affect the use behavior to use the Transportation Service Applications namely Habit, Social Influence, Price Value and Behavioral Intention. The analysis result shows that UTAUT 2 model is suitable and fits the empirical data of the research, it means that the use behavior of Transportation Services Applications can be explained by UTAUT 2 model.

The purpose of this study is to measure the acceptance of mobile apps technology using UnifiedTheory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) in Yogyakarta and its surrounding areas. Thestudy found that constructs such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influencepositively influence behavioral intention. While facilitating conditions and behavioral intention havepositive impact on use behavior. This study also validated that UTAUT model can be used to measurethe acceptance of mobile apps. Keywords: UTAUT, technology acceptance, mobile apps
