The objective of this study was to understand the attitudes of professionals who work in mental health regarding the use of conversational user interfaces, or chatbots, to support people’s mental health and wellbeing. This study involves an online survey to measure the awareness and attitudes of mental healthcare professionals and experts. The findings from this survey show that more than half of the participants in the survey agreed that there are benefits associated with mental healthcare chatbots (65%, p < 0.01). The perceived importance of chatbots was also relatively high (74%, p < 0.01), with more than three-quarters (79%, p < 0.01) of respondents agreeing that mental healthcare chatbots could help their clients better manage their own health, yet chatbots are overwhelmingly perceived as not adequately understanding or displaying human emotion (86%, p < 0.01). Even though the level of personal experience with chatbots among professionals and experts in mental health has been quite low, this study shows that where they have been used, the experience has been mostly satisfactory. This study has found that as years of experience increased, there was a corresponding increase in the belief that healthcare chatbots could help clients better manage their own mental health.

The pharmaceutical industry is motivated by profit and it is the quest for ever larger sales and profits that determines how the industry promotes its products. The author analyzes the methods that drug companies use in marketing their drugs to doctors and consumers, and the consequences in terms of costs and health. Some of the drugs advertised are valuable; others are irrational mixtures, useless or dangerous and should not be on the market. Even for products of proven worth, the companies have a double standard when it comes to promoting them in the Third World. The International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Associations does have a Code of Marketing Practice, but major weaknesses in the code render it almost impotent in regulating promotion. When consumers and health care professionals question the tactics of the industry, the response is usually to attack the credibility of the critics rather than to deal with the issues that they raise. Physicians and consumers are strongly influenced by pharmaceutical promotion, with all too predictable results: Doctors prescribe irrationally and consumers develop grossly distorted ideas about the value of modern medications. Reforms to promotional practices are possible, but may be beyond the resources of Third World countries. Achieving these reforms will require the efforts of Third World countries, progressive elements in the pharmaceutical industry, consumer and professional groups and some form of organized international support.

Introduction. In the development and introduction of medicines into production, the aim of pharmaceutical manufacturers is to comply with the principle of «Quality-by-Design» (QbD). The International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) has created a number of GxP standards, which have become the regulatory framework for the development of documentation regulating the requirements for the development and production of drug products for countries focused on bringing their products to the world pharmaceutical market. The analysis of the system of regulation of pharmaceutical stages of development of new drugs in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union was not considered, but for the formation of a systematic approach to the management of the process of pharmaceutical development it is necessary to describe them.Aim. To analyze the possibility of applying the QbD principle to the process of drug development at domestic pharmaceutical enterprises.Materials and methods. Content analysis of scientific publications, system and comparative analysis, sociological methods of research in the field of pharmaceutical development. Results and discussions. Regulatory state requirements to the organization and conduct of drug development procedures are analyzed and described. A number of systemic and sectoral problems typical for domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers in the organization of the development and implementation of new drug products. It is established that one of the main problems for Russian enterprises was the organization of the process as a whole and its individual procedures. To solve the problem of organization of procedures for the development and implementation of new medicines, we formed a methodological support, developed on the basis of a systematic approach and international requirements from the quality system.Conclusion. The main problem identified by the manufacturers is the lack of methodological support for the organization of the processes of pharmaceutical development and the introduction of new drugs in the part of research going to the stage of preclinical and clinical development. The decisions adopted by the Eurasian Economic Union do not affect such aspects of pharmaceutical development regulation as the organization of processes, their management and methodological support aimed at the implementation of the QbD principle. To solve this problem, we have developed guidelines for the implementation of the processes of pharmaceutical development and the introduction of new drug products, which allowed us to apply unified and formalized approaches to their organization.

Innovation is an effort to increase the companies' competitiveness in Indonesia in the era of the ASEAN Economic Community and confront the fourth industrial era. Innovative work behavior is an organization's methods to implement innovations and improve performance, excellence, competitiveness, and confront changes in the dynamic external environment. This study aims to examine the effect of self-construal and goal orientation on innovative work behavior by testing hypotheses using multiple regression analysis. Data collection in this study uses an innovative work behavior scale, self-construal scale, and goal orientation scale, an online survey method filled by 168 employees working in the manufacturing industry sectors in Indonesia. The results show that self-construal and goal orientation have a positive effect on innovative work behavior, enhancement in self-construal, and goal orientation to increase employees' innovative work behavior—the contribution of goal orientation significant higher for employees' innovative work behavior than for self-construal contributions. Individuals with goal orientations can help organizations to develop innovation through innovative work behavior.

DL), which has resulted in an unprecedented experiment in the sphere of higher education in Ukraine that requires scientific analysis. The aim of the work was to identify the possible potential directions of DL development in institutions of higher education as a result of marketing research of satisfaction/dissatisfaction of students with DL. The survey method was used in the study. The results of marketing research (an online survey of students) (Kharkiv, 2020, n = 316) allowed the authors to identify the factors of satisfaction and dissatisfaction of students with DL. Students considered the most important factors of satisfaction with DL as follows: development of competencies, self-organization, discipline, self-motivation, responsibility, taking an active position as participants of the educational process, comfort. Students expect that lectures secure improvement of teacher-student communication process; flexibility of educational approaches; use of interactive tools and constant change of activities to maintain the attention, interest, concentration of students on studying process. The latter will maximize students’ involvement in activities during training; improvement of digital competencies. The students` expectations are: flexibility of the DL platforms compared to full-time in-person education; creation of the “map” of the educational process in a distance mode. It is noted that the results of marketing research (the online survey) demonstrated the factors of satisfaction and dissatisfaction of students with DL. This information was considered as the arguments for identifying the possible potential directions of DL development in higher education institutions.

Circular economy is becoming ever more widespread sustainable concept for promoting efficient resource usage; Amsterdam is one of the first cities to implement this approach to solve waste management problems. While the circular transition is mostly examined from a top-down perspective, the role of bottom-up initiatives is often left unstudied. This article determines the contribution of bottom-up initiatives to Amsterdam’s circular transition by assessing their environmental, economic, social impact together with their commitment to circularity. The study utilizes the survey method followed by a statistical analysis to investigate the influence of such initiatives on public awareness, involvement, and behavioral change. The content analysis of initiatives’ official documentation and news articles allows revealing the environmental and economic impact and analyzing initiatives’ commitment to circularity. The results communicate that bottom-up initiatives mostly create an economic value and positively affect citizens’ involvement. However, the environmental impact, the influence on public awareness and partly on behavioral change is insignificant due to their small local scale and inconsistency between the declared and actual priorities. Such initiatives might still serve as trendsetters thereby indirectly tackling waste problem and facilitating Amsterdam’s circular transition.

Abstract The purpose of this paper is to analyze the retirement behavior of UAE nationals by understanding the socio-economic characteristics of early retirees and identifying the main determinants of early retirement. Accordingly, a survey study is created and deployed for current employees and retirees affiliated with Abu Dhabi Retirement and Pension Benefit Fund (ADRPBF). The survey was designed to reach 100 retirees and 200 currently active workers from those registered at the ADRPBF. The survey was conducted by employing the online survey method and face-to-face interviews. The total number of respondents is around 244, with a total response rate of 81.33%. Some factors related to the psychosocial work environment play a significant role in the early retirement decision of Emiratis. These factors are stress level, autonomy level and authority level at work. In addition to these, the level of work environment comfortability and life-work balance seem to also affect the early retirement decision. In general, the results indicate that higher the stress level, lower the level of autonomy and authority; higher the early retirement decision within the Emirati workforce. Last but not least, the likelihood of early retirement increases significantly if employees face a work-related health problem. Initiatives at the government and company level to adjust the working conditions for the capacity of elderly people shall be considered. Healthy living campaigns and sport programs might be launched to reduce work-related health problems and consequently early retirement. Our work is the first comprehensive study exploring the early retirement decision of the UAE nationals. One limitation of our study is the limited number of participants in the survey. Future work that will include a higher number of participants and supplementary questions to cover more job features (physical workload, other psychosocial factors) might be helpful.
