The internet has become an inseparable part of human life, and the number of devices connected to the internet is increasing sharply. In particular, Internet of Things (IoT) devices have become a part of everyday human life. However, some challenges are increasing, and their solutions are not well defined. More and more challenges related to technology security concerning the IoT are arising. Many methods have been developed to secure IoT networks, but many more can still be developed. One proposed way to improve IoT security is to use machine learning. This research discusses several machine-learning and deep-learning strategies, as well as standard datasets for improving the security performance of the IoT. We developed an algorithm for detecting denial-of-service (DoS) attacks using a deep-learning algorithm. This research used the Python programming language with packages such as scikit-learn, Tensorflow, and Seaborn. We found that a deep-learning model could increase accuracy so that the mitigation of attacks that occur on an IoT network is as effective as possible.

Deep neural network as a part of deep learning algorithm is a state-of-the-art approach to find higher level representations of input data which has been introduced to many practical and challenging learning problems successfully. The primary goal of deep learning is to use large data to help solving a given task on machine learning. We propose an methodology for image de-noising project defined by this model and conduct training a large image database to get the experimental output. The result shows the robustness and efficient our our algorithm.

In this paper, we propose a precision agriculture technique to detect various pests in coconut trees with the help of NVIDIA Tegra System on Chip (SoC) along with a camera interfaced drone. The drone flies across the coconut farm and captures the images and processes the data using deep learning algorithm to identify the unhealthy and pest affected trees. The deep learning algorithm uses a set of sample pest database. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) machine learning algorithm is also capable of unsupervised learning from the images that are unstructured. The data is transferred directly to the farmer’s smart phone with the help of wi-fi. This helps in timely treatment of pest infected trees and to improve the yield of the trees.

As the national economy has entered a stage of rapid development, the national economy and social development have also ushered in the “14th Five-Year Plan,” and the country has also issued support policies to encourage and guide college students to start their own businesses. Therefore, the establishment of an innovation and entrepreneurship platform has a significant impact on China’s economy. This gives college students great support and help in starting a business. The theory of deep learning algorithms originated from the development of artificial neural networks and is another important field of machine learning. As the computing power of computers has been greatly improved, especially the computing power of GPU can quickly train deep neural networks, deep learning algorithms have become an important research direction. The deep learning algorithm is a nonlinear network structure and a standard modeling method in the field of machine learning. After modeling various templates, they can be identified and implemented. This article uses a combination of theoretical research and empirical research, based on the views and research content of some scholars in recent years, and introduces the basic framework and research content of this article. Then, deep learning algorithms are used to analyze the experimental data. Data analysis is performed, and relevant concepts of deep learning algorithms are combined. This article focuses on exploring the construction of an IAE (innovation and entrepreneurship) education platform and making full use of the role of deep learning algorithms to realize the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship platforms. Traditional methods need to extract features through manual design, then perform feature classification, and finally realize the function of recognition. The deep learning algorithm has strong data image processing capabilities and can quickly process large-scale data. Research data show that 49.5% of college students and 35.2% of undergraduates expressed their interest in entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is a good choice to relieve employment pressure.

The planning of safe trajectories in critical traffic scenarios using model-based algorithms is a very computationally intensive task. Recently proposed algorithms, namely Hybrid Augmented CL-RRT, Hybrid Augmented CL-RRT+ and GATE-ARRT+, reduce the computation time for safe trajectory planning drastically using a combination of a deep learning algorithm 3D-ConvNet with a vehicle dynamic model. An efficient embedded implementation of these algorithms is required as the vehicle on-board micro-controller resources are limited. This work proposes methodologies for replacing the computationally intensive modules of these trajectory planning algorithms using different efficient machine learning and analytical methods. The required computational resources are measured by downloading and running the algorithms on various hardware platforms. The results show significant reduction in computational resources and the potential of proposed algorithms to run in real time. Also, alternative architectures for 3D-ConvNet are presented for further reduction of required computational resources.

Abstract The widespread influence of social media impacts every aspect of life, including the healthcare sector. Although medics and health professionals are the final decision makers, the advice and recommendations obtained from fellow patients are significant. In this context, the present paper explores the topics of discussion posted by breast cancer patients and survivors on online forums. The study examines an online forum,, maps the discussion entries to several topics, and proposes a machine learning model based on a classification algorithm to characterize the topics. To explore the topics of breast cancer patients and survivors, approximately 1000 posts are selected and manually labeled with annotations. In contrast, millions of posts are available to build the labels. A semi-supervised learning technique is used to build the labels for the unlabeled data; hence, the large data are classified using a deep learning algorithm. The deep learning algorithm BiLSTM with BERT word embedding technique provided a better f1-score of 79.5%. This method is able to classify the following topics: medication reviews, clinician knowledge, various treatment options, seeking and providing support, diagnostic procedures, financial issues and implications for everyday life. What matters the most for the patients is coping with everyday living as well as seeking and providing emotional and informational support. The approach and findings show the potential of studying social media to provide insight into patients' experiences with cancer like critical health problems.
