Anemia is a state of hemoglobin levels in the bloodless than normal numbers according to the sex and age group. The impact of anemia in adolescents is a decrease in achievement and learning spirit and can cause symptoms such as paleness, lethargy, decreased appetite, and growth disorders. Anemia has an impact not only on the health of adolescent girls but can have a long impact on the health of the mother and fetus. You can see the influence of anemia education on knowledge, attitudes, and practice. Uses the Pre-experimental method with the design of one group pretest and posttest. Sampling technique using purposive sampling with the number of 47 adolescent girls. The research was conducted at Senior High School 12 Makassar in September-October 2021. Data analysis using the McNemar test. From the results of statistical tests showed that there was an influence on the use of web-based she smart education model on the use of adolescent girls about anemia with p-value = 0.000 (p<0.05), attitude p-value = 0.016 (p<0.05) and action p-value = 0.001 (p<0.05). Anemia education using web-based she smart can improve knowledge, attitudes, and practice before and after an intervention.

Determining the pathogenesis of pediatric growth disorders is often challenging. In many cases, no pathogenesis is identified, and a designation of idiopathic short stature is used. The investigation of short stature requires a combination of clinical, endocrinological, and genetic evaluation. The techniques used are described, with equal importance being given to each of the 3 approaches. Clinical skills are essential to elicit an accurate history, family pedigree, and symptoms of body system dysfunction. Endocrine assessment requires hormonal determination for the diagnosis of hormone deficiency and initiation of successful replacement therapy. Genetic analysis has added a new dimension to the investigation of short stature and now uses next-generation sequencing with a candidate gene approach to confirm probable recognizable monogenic disorders and exome sequencing for complex phenotypes of unknown origin. Using the 3 approaches of clinical, endocrine, and genetic probes with equal status in the hierarchy of investigational variables provides the clinician with the highest chance of identifying the correct causative pathogenetic mechanism in a child presenting with short stature of unknown origin.

Toddler age 12-59 months is a period when children really need nutrients in sufficient and balanced amounts. Lack of nutrients at this time can cause growth disorders. At this time too, the child is still completely dependent on the care and nurturing by his mother and family characteristics. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of family characteristics and parenting patterns on the nutritional status of children under five in Sigumpar Village, Sigumpar District. This type of research is a survey with the type of explanatory research. The population is all mothers who have children under five totaling 52 people. The collection of data on family characteristics, eating patterns using interviews guided by questionnaires and health parenting patterns using interviews guided by questionnaires. The nutritional status of children under five is based on the BB/TB index. Data analysis used multiple logistic regression test at a significance level of 95%. The results showed that the nutritional status of children under five (1-5 years old) based on the BW/TB index was normal (40.4%) and overweight (fat) 59.6%. Family characteristics consisting of knowledge of mothers in the good category 65.4%, higher education 75.0%, family income > 1,200,000 (100%), working mothers (59.6%), eating patterns applied by mothers to children good toddler 55.8%. Likewise, the health pattern of children under five is good 61.5%. There is an effect of parenting (eating and health) on the nutritional status of children under five.

Covid 19 is an infectious disease caused by coronavirus. This virus first appeared in Wuhan China. The manifestations of this disease vary in each person, ranging from no symptoms, mild symptoms to severe symptoms that can even cause death. Mothers who are confirmed to have Covid 19 can experience various symptoms such as those who are not pregnant. This research method is a descriptive study to describe the condition of pregnancy with the COVID 19 virus infection which is taken from various previous research sources. Result: Symptoms that appear include cough, fever and sore throat. However, in pregnant women, the placenta serves as a barrier that can prevent transmission of Covid 19 from mother to fetus. Pregnant women with comorbidities who are confirmed positive for Covid 19 increase the risk of illness and increase the need for ICU. The diagnosis of Covid 19 can be confirmed in various ways, but the gold standard that can be used as a reference for diagnosing Covid 19 is the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) culture test. The impact of pregnancy confirmed by Covid 19 is maternal mortality, preterm delivery and fetal growth disorders and fetal death.

Kata kunci: audiovisual; non-audiovisual; promosi kesehatan; remaja; stunting ABSTRACTThe quality of a teenager is one of the factors that can determine the incidence of stunting. The lack of providing correct information about preparing for stunting prevention from an early age in adolescents, especially about preparation for the first 1000 days of life can also increase the risk of giving birth to children with growth disorders and stunting. The purpose of community service activities is to improve stunting prevention behavior in adolescents in Taban village, Jambe district, Tangerang district. The method used is the delivery of materials and filling out a questionnaire related to stunting prevention. This community service activity is carried out by providing health education related to stunting prevention with audiovisual and non-audiovisual media. The results of the activity were a commitment to participants to disseminate information to other teenagers and a change in adolescent behavior from negative to positive related to stunting prevention. It is hoped that with an increase in behavior in adolescents, it can reduce the incidence of stunting. Keywords: audiovisual; non-audiovisual; health promotion; teenager; stunting

Introduction: Tertiary care centers often manage pediatric orbital tumors, especially in advanced lesions and complex management. We report a case of a young boy with a malignant orbital tumor involving intracranial infiltration. Case presentation: A four-year-old boy had proptosis on the left eye for two months accompanied with blurred vision, pain, and oftenly bleeds with ipsilateral nasal congestion. There was no history of trauma, eye disorders, systemic diseases, or growth disorders.  The physical examination showed stable vital signs, however a weak general condition and no enlarged regional lymph nodes. Visual acuity of the left eye was no light perception. There was a mass with protrusion of the left eye, swelling of the eyelid with an irregular surface, and a tendency to bleeds. The cornea was hazy with partly scarring, so we could not evaluate the posterior segment. MRI of the head presented a malignant soft tissue mass of the left orbital region with intracranial infiltration. The patient was given adjuvant chemotherapy; however, he could not survive due to systemic complications. Conclusions: The definitive diagnosis for the orbital tumor is obtained by histopathological examination. The investigation with CT scan or MRI imaging could be considered if not possible. However, since the definitive diagnosis still not assessed, the management can be affected. It is essential to have a definitive diagnosis to provide adequate treatment for the patients. Delayed and inadequate management can make malignant orbital tumors potentially life-threatening.

: Stunting is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by lack of nutritional intake for a long time, resulting in growth disorders in children, namely the child's height is lower or shorter (short) than the standard age. The condition of a child's short body is often said to be a hereditary factor (genetic) from both parents, so that many people just accept it without doing anything to prevent it. In fact, as we all know, genetics is a determinant of health that has the least effect when compared to behavioral, environmental (social, economic, cultural, political) factors and health services. In other words, stunting is a preventable problem. Stunting is a growth failure problem experienced by infants under 5 years of age who are malnourished since in the womb until the baby is born. Assessment of stunting nutritional status can be done through anthropometric measurements of TB/U classified through nutritional classification status. Stunting is a condition where the child's height is shorter than the height of children his age. According to UNICEF, stunting occurs in children aged 0 to 59 months with a height below minus (moderate and severe stunting) and minus three (chronic stunting) measured from the WHO child growth standards. In Indonesia, stunting is still a health problem in quite a large number. Based on the 2013 Basic Health Research, around 37.2 percent of Indonesian children under the age of 5 are stunted.

AbstractThe genetic influences on human growth are being increasingly deciphered. Silver–Russell and Beckwith–Wiedemann syndromes (SRS; BWS) are two relatively common genetic syndromes with under- and overgrowth-related issues being the reason for referral. Aberration in genomic imprinting is the underlying genetic pathomechanism behind these syndromes. Herein, we described a series of children with these two growth disorders and give an orientation to the reader of the concept of imprinting as well as the genetic testing strategy and counseling to be offered in these syndromes.
