Abstract As a significant industrial and cultural phenomenon, the rise of new mainstream films and TV dramas in China embodies the inclusion of multiple cultures (mainstream culture, grassroot culture, youth culture, etc.) and the respect for diverse audiences. In particular, such trends bring into focus the youth market and explore the image-based expression of youth culture, subculture and fashion culture. However, this author argues that the production of such films and TV dramas also needs to further pursue market-orientated strategies, sustainable development, and conformity to industrial standards. In short, the production of new mainstream films and TV dramas should not revert to the previous production pattern of mainstream films.

Abstract This study aimed to predict the egg production of quails receiving methionine supplementation. Two hundred and four quails were divided into two treatment diets, and six replicates with 17 quails each. The treatment diets were control (P0) and 0.12% methionine supplementation (P1). Egg production data were collected for eleven weeks, and a T-test was performed. Next, the data was plotted to get the actual egg production curve. We used a logistic regression model to predict the egg production pattern and calculated the model’s fitness with the coefficient of determination (R2). The results showed that methionine supplementation increased egg production by 9.43% (p<0.01). Based on the actual production curve, the increase in initial production to peak production of P1 was slower than P0, but P1 had a higher egg production than P0. The logistic model predicts that peak production of P1 was higher than P0 (62.74% vs. 56.79%), although the production rate of P1 was lower than P0 (0.21 vs. 0.36). In addition, the accuracy of both P0 and P1 models was 0.88 and 0.92, respectively. Thus, the logistic model can predict quail egg production in the tropics due to diet modification with high accuracy.

Abstract Tropical countries such as Indonesia face high temperatures, which impact the energy utilization in poultry. This study aims to predict the egg production pattern of quail supplemented with methionine in a low-energy diet. In total, 204 laying quails were divided into two treatments: Control (T0) and 0.12% methionine supplementation (T1). After three weeks adaptation period, daily egg production data were collected for two periods of four weeks each (treatment period week 4-11). The t-test was applied to analyze the egg production data. Egg production patterns were predicted using logistic regression. The egg production pattern of T1 showed a significant increase compared to T0 during the treatment period (p<0.01) and overall period (p<0.01). Peak production from T0 and T1 was 59.14% vs. 66.82%, with a production rate of 0.22 vs. 0.18 and prediction accuracy of 91% vs. 86%, respectively. In conclusion, methionine supplementation to a low-energy diet increased egg production of quails.

The article describes the process of commercial fish production in modern aquaculture, which requires high technologies and significant input. Optimization of technological processes while breeding fish is a necessary condition for the development of the industry. It is difficult and virtually impossible to develop a universal production pattern, this is why it is reasonable to split the whole process into several optimization tasks corresponding to each of the stages of the technological cycle. It is proposed to regulate such indicators as the level of feeding, pH value, age of producers as control actions at the stages of pre-spawning and spawning periods. The possibility to use the mentioned parameters for stage optimization, as well as for selecting the best values for each of the factors was assessed. The optimization target is to define the optimal amount of viable eggs, which would correspond to the minimal prime cost. It has been demonstrated that the optimal feeding level for the producers equals to 4 – 4.5 per cent of the fish body weight. The increase in the feeding level influences the fertility of producers insufficiently, inflating the costs. It has been found out that 12 – 24 months old producers have the best reproduction indices. The preferred quality and the vital capacity of spawn received from the producers within this group have also been registered. Another factor which may be used in order to control the process is the pH of water in pools. Regardless of the fact that tilapia producers are relatively undemanding to the habitat conditions and resistant to pH values, it is possible to single out the optimal range of this factor. It corresponds to pH values between 6 and 7.5. This is when the best rates of eggs fertilization and survival are observed.

The objective of this study was to provide the basic data related to the tractor such as power ratios and annual use along with the production pattern, type of farms, farm size and their fragmentation, soil properties. In order to meet the above objective a survey study was conducted in 2013 in four provinces of the Aegean region namely Aydın, Denizli, İzmir and Manisa.Using a GPS device, the coordinates of the location of the agricultural lands were also found in order to analyze the data for further evaluation and GeoMedia Professional 6.0 CBS software. The results from the study indicated that the annual use of tractors is about 650 hours and the surveyed land is a typical example and resembles the whole country in terms of average land size and fragmented land structure. The total land owned by 305 farmers was calculated to be 4023.1 ha and each farmer has 7.47 ha land. On the other hand, the average parcel size was found to be 0.86 ha. The distance between the parcels ranged between 0.5-10 km mostly while %12 of the lands was out of this range.

The production pattern is a “production composition” which gives the most suitable combination for the physical and ecological characteristics of the arable land. It is determined according to the current and potential demand for agricultural goods- both domestic as well as foreign demand-. Once the product pattern is determined, it will be use as an important data for increasing the efficiency of the agricultural sector, as well as for agricultural planning and for effective use of natural resources. One of the goals of agricultural policies is to establish an “optimal balance” for agricultural producers and consumers via establishing the demand and supply balance on each product level, and to create an “optimal product pattern” by directing this agricultural production. To be able to achieve this goal, “agricultural policies” and among them, especially “agricultural support policies” appears to play an especially important role. In this article, we will first summarize the importance and the general characteristics the agricultural sector and and give a general view of the agricultural policies and their effects on the product pattern. Then we will briefly mention two case studies in how the product pattern is determined; then, we will be discussing the effects of the changes in the climate, population rates and structure and the gradual decrease of agricultural areas on the product pattern.
